“From the very first young man I met on my front porch to the last man I had in to do the final inspection of all the work that had been done, these folks showed the highest degree of professionalism in their work ethic and personal behavior. We are very pleased with their work and he end results, knowing that what they accomplished in our home will last as ling as the house itself and will add tremendous value to our home.”

“Jobs were done in a timely manner. Each project only took a day. Had 13 windows done in one day.”

“I am completely disappointed with the service these guys offer. First they come knocking at your door to offer a free inspection / consultation. It all started with windows, which we knew we had to replace them at some point. So we let them do the inspection, and the result, as expected was that we needed to replace all our windows. Then, the come with a quote with a few different options. The most attractive offer, and least expensive, is the one where you have to sign on the same day. You cannot think about it, well, you do have a few minutes to think about it, and after you agree they state several times you cannot cancel by no means. So far so "good", except the mental pressure they put you in to sign something without even shopping around to get the best deal. The project install manager comes by to recheck all the measurements and go over details. We had a few surprises and changed some of the windows that was offered by the first person who did the measurements. This was really helpful, we would have had a big problem if we went with the Windows proposed. First real problem comes up. My house has wired security sensors for all doors and windows, it is all hooked up to a modern security, and the project install manager said they would not be able to keep that wires. I insisted, but he kept saying he cannot be reliable for any problems that could occur in my security system if they messed up. Bottom line, I had to purchase 16 new wireless sensors, Power Home did give me a discount of the windows based on the amount I would have to spend for the new sensors, so definitely that was good. But now, instead of a clean window I have windows with sensors, which esthetically is not the best option, and now I have to change batteries ever now and then. Not a deal breaker, but for sure something I had that was better that I couldn't keep. They schedule a date to start the installation, someone from Power Home calls me and offers an additional service for the same agreed price because the finance company would reduce the percentage rate. We agree on gutters, not something we really needed, but I had some spots around the house that did not have gutters, and that was even called out in the home inspection recommending to install gutters where I did not have them. So we think it's a great opportunity and we accept. Windows installation scheduled, the crew comes in on time. Ohh there's the pre-install which I forgot to mention. I was responsible for removing all existing blinds of my windows, because they AGAIN are not reliable for any damage that could occur if they remove them. That's just insane, but here I am 2 days before the install removing every single blind of all the windows (total of 19 windows). So the crew comes in, they are fast, that was a real good thing. In the end the install manager tells me that the top window for my office was not delivered, so they could not remove and install the office window. They tell me that someone from the office would call me to schedule a new date. They "force" me to sign an install completion form, which I declined at first but after a lot of insistence, I give up and sign the form (totally my bad here I should not have signed the form) I wait for 3 days, and decide to call. No one knew what was going on, they even said that I signed the install completion form. They say they will reach out to the crew to understand what happened. Next day they call in, and confirms that the window was missing. They ask for a few days to get the window delivered, and then they would schedule a new install date. A few days goes by, and they call to schedule a new install. They come in, again very fast crew, remove the office window, install the new one, and then I notice that the window screen was bent and had a small hole in it, I show that to the crew they said they will let the office know so it could be replaced. I explicitly ask "Will you reach out to them? Because last time I had to reach out" The install manager guarantees he will notify the office. A few days goes by, nothing from the office I call in again. Same story, they did not know about anything, I had to send pictures to prove what I was asking. A little back and forth, but in the end they scheduled a date to replace the screen. Windows all done, phew. Now for the gutters. They schedule a date to install the gutters. They come in, and starts the install. They don't notify me that they were leaving, or for me to inspect what was done. When I look for them I notice they are already gone. I go do an inspection, and I see some connections between gutters missing. I call in, no need to say they did not know about it right? Exactly, same thing, they don't know, they go figure out and they come to install the connections. Thankfully a very heavy rain happened a few days later, I notice that one of the corners is not holding water at all, it's going through. I take pictures, and send directly to the project install manager, I also send pictures of the front of the house where the gutters were originally connected to my French drain, and with the new gutters they were not connected. To my surprise they said they don't do this kind of work. WHAT????? Isn't this part of the gutters??? "No sir, we don't do this". And they start saying that now my gutters are 3/4 and the original ones were 2/3, so they don't match with the French drain. THEY suggested a 3/4, not me. I tell him, I'm not expecting them to replace the underground French drain, but suggest to put an adapter. They install manager says he is not aware of any type of adapter. I hang up, I do a quick search on Amazon, and find SEVERAL options! I send the links to the install manager. No response, weeks goes by, I ask about the link I send and the connection leak (which was still happening). This was around Dec 13th, I finally got a response, and they he says will look at my project. No response, Jan 4th, I reach out again. He calls me and we schedule a date to fix the leak and the connection to the French drain for Jan 17th. I send him a messaging asking for them to take over the search for the adapters, because they are the experts and I was worried I would get the wrong parts. No response. Jan 17th, someones comes in, fixes the leak, and tells me that they could not fix the drain because they don't do this type of service and it is clogged, so I have to call a French drain specialist to unclog. CLEARLY it wasn't clogged since it was connected to my drain, and since it's been months with the french drain opened, lots of leaves fells in it. I message the same person I was talking to saying that the leak was fixed but the drain wasn't still connected. No response, I follow up the next day, no response. I call the office a day after I had no response. I talk to a manager, explain EVERYTHING that happened, and he says "We don't do French drains". I still very calm at that time and start to ask questions and ask for help, at some point the manager simply LAUGHS of my situation, I call that out and he says he's not laughing, but HE DID! How much disrespect! At that point I lost it, and he just kept repeating the same phrase: "We don't do French drains"... On the call I called out that I had to reach out to tell the works were not finished 3 times, and the manager's answer was "And we came over and fixed the problems" . Yeah, in a reactive way. What If I don't call? It's a mess I hang up very frustrated. The company clearly does not care. If I knew they would not connect the gutter to the drains, I would have NOT done the gutter work. Just headache. Never doing business with them again!”
“I really liked dealing with the management team. However, when the guys were on site, it took longer than anticipated.”
“This was without a doubt, the worst home improvement experience we have ever had. The company was more concerned with getting their money than making sure the job had been done correctly. They even called to collect before anyone had even shown up to start the job. Over three months into a half-day job we were told that "accidents happen in construction" so if we wanted it done differently, we would have to pay the added expense. They treated us like we were expecting too much even though one of their own supervisors agreed that there was an issue. Hopefully we will never need their lifetime warranty, because it may not be worth the hassle of getting them to actually follow through.”

“Have been having issue with the door. We had asked for a level on contract and still has not been placed. Also, the trim has defects and over 3 appointments have been made and the personal that has showed up came to do other work example they came to do the outside casing, but we only have been waiting for the inside level to be replaced from a nob to a lever and the trim that was placed has defects. I called and still have not been informed on when they will be returning. I figure if I am having this much issues with a door trim and handle what's would happen if there was warranty work to be done?”
“Sales team was polite (Avery was the solicitor, Ian the salesperson). After Ian's sales pitch and the pricing of the job, the expectations were very high for a quality product and a quality installation, but in my opinion, both of those marks were missed by a good margin. Our job consisted of 19 window replacements, a bay window installation, and 2 sliding glass door replacements. As you can imagine, it was not a small job in terms of price and it was estimated to be a two day job. There were a number of issues during and after installation and the overall experience has not lived up to expectations, in terms of the final product delivered.”

“Our most recent work (and third job) with Power was a front door install. The install team was fine, though they blew a GFI and we had to get them power through the house. The plan did not account for a light switch that was in the way of the new door frame so the installers agreed to move it though they were not electricians and the new switch location needs finish work as the wall still shows where the new hole was cut and the edge of the old light switch hole.”
“This company does great work. But they don't communicate very well with their customers.”
“Overall, this experience was just ok. Communication wasn't the best, the job took more than double the time I was told it would. The unused materials were picked up the week after new years and I'm still waiting for the $960 credit due to me despite two phone calls about it. As of today, that credit is yet to be issued. The boxes installed are very sloppy, one not level and the box around the sillcock blocks the ability to attach the hose. Being winter, I only recently noticed this. Time will tell if my opinion improves.”

“These guys are solid and professional. Don't let their shady door to door salesman business model or their pushy salesmen throw you off. Once you get to interact with the actual planners, installers, and inspectors you get a view of a really solid company with a lot of integrity and professionalism. The install of the windows was quick and painless. An inspector came out later that night to look at the job and then sat down and took his time talking to us and answered any questions we had. First thing the next day, a couple repairmen showed up to fix the tiny problem that we had with our sliding glass door. They were also friendly and professional and took time to make sure I was satisfied with their work. We've been enjoying our new windows and door ever since. It's winter now and the windows are definitely making a huge difference in our home. It's been a couple months since the install and we haven't had any issues. We feel really good about this purchase even though it was a big decision for our family budget, and we will definitely recommend Power to friends and family in the future.”

“I was very pleased with how easy it was to to have new windows installed! Everyone I came into contact with was professional, respectful and answered all my questions. The installation crew went above and beyond with my special requests. I’m looking forward to Summer, because now I have insulated windows that block out the heat! They also cut down on outside noise as well. I’m very happy with my purchase! Thank you!”

“We would proudly recommend others to Power for their home remodel. The windows make the house stand out and it looks beautiful, with the windows and the insulation of the attic the house feels better temperature wise and the quietness of the home is so nice. So overall we are very pleases with our remodel we feel like we have a new house, because we got the attic insulation we got a one time rebate from Georgia Power.”

“The first crew came out to install the door did a very poor job. When I called in to power, they had me send in multiple pictures to prove the door was very poorly installed. I was told the same crew would have to come back to correct the door install. I had requested a QA representative from power to come and look at the door, but was told they couldn't do that because of staffing and scheduling. I had taken the day off work so i could explain what i was seeing to the installation crew. The original crew came back at the end of their scheduled time window, removed one piece of weather stripping to place their level, told me it "was not their problem" and left all within 10 minutes. After calling Power back, they sent out a project manager, who quickly determined the door was not installed properly, and scheduled a different crew to come out. The second crew arrived promptly, saw what was wrong with the door, wedged the door into its correct position, installed a strike plate that I didn't even know was missing, and shimmed the door against the frame to prevent future movement. They were Ultimately able to correct the original install all within 45 minutes. My rating would be much lower if not for that second crew, and would have been 5 stars if the first crew hadn't of done what they did.”
