“Failed to service one of seven Ash trees for at least 2 years. Services were paid for 7 trees and only 6 serviced. Tree appears to be preparing to fail this next year or before. 30 by 20 yard lawn has not been serviced to keep the entire area without crab grass and dead grass. twice totally serviced with out success. Has been serviced for over 20 years and only having major difficulty over the last 3 years.”

“For the money paid, they didn’t really do too much. I had to hire another landscape co to complete the work”
“I assume I received this survey because a AAA Tree Service crew came onto my property in August without my permission and "trimmed" my Holly tree. My neighbor hired the company, but neglected to tell me that my tree would be trimmed. I did not know AAA was working with Davey Tree Company. Davey takes care of my Holly tree as needed, usually twice/year. You will see in your records that I have been a client of Davey Tree Co. for several years. The AAA crew, after trimming small branches overhanging Ms. Manley’s yard, crossed over the fence into my yard, climbed my tree to cut off bigger limbs and a major branch. Needless to say, I was upset when I saw the extent of the damage to my tree. The crew did not have permission to come onto my property, did not have permission to climb my tree, and did not have permission to saw off any part of the tree on my side of the fence. The tree now looks lopsided and unattractive; there are two deep saw marks on the tree that look sloppy, and I am left to live with the damage caused by a company that I did not hire and to whom I did not give permission to work on my tree. Apparently the tree was not permanently harmed, but it certainly looks like it has been chopped up by an amateur. My realtor said it will be a major issue when I try to sell my house. It is shocking that a respected tree expert would come onto a client's property and trim a tree without properly informing the property owner of their intentions. It is especially hurtful that a company entrusted to care for the tree would intentionally damage the tree. Please explain to me how this happened.”
