“Here was my experience: The week before the installation I was called to confirm everything. I was told the balance due was the full price. I told her that we had already put a deposit down of half. She said she'd look into it. After the project, an invoice was sent for the full amount. Required an extra phone call to get it sorted out. Day of the project, materials were dropped off at 730 but no workers were there. I had to reach out twice by 11am before hearing it would not be done that day and they would come out the next. Following day nobody shows up. I again have to reach out multiple ways, texting and calling and hear nothing. My wife called a few hours later and got ahold of the project manager and found out they were actually coming out the next day. During the project, we told the workers to let us know when they would need to go to the backyard to work, so that we could bring our dogs inside. An hour into it, a worker had gone into the yard and was knocking on the back door asking me to bring them in. Then he was about to do work on the wrong back door. Fortunately I stopped him before he did anything, and he said he didn't realize there were multiple doors. And when he left the yard, the gate was not shut. Most of the work that was done seems fine but a small gap was left between the garage door and the wall, which required another crew to come back a couple weeks later to fix. Once the first crew completed the job, they did not clean up well. The excess supplies were stacked next to the dumpster but there were dozens of nails and debris on our driveway and in the yard. We had to spend an hour in the dark clearing the driveway so we could bring our cars in. The next day they took the excess supplies but we were still finding nails and debris in the driveway and yard. My wife contacted the project manager about it and he said that he would have someone come do a magnetic sweep and clean everything up. Since the project we've also been having issues closing our garage door. The sensor is green and there isn't anything blocking it but it often takes multiple tries to close it. On Monday, my wife texted the project manager asking him if he could come check on this issue as well as when the cleanup would happen. He said he would try to come out the following day and he would schedule a cleanup. Nobody ever came out to clean and we didn't hear from him for a week and half and that was only after I had talked with someone from QA about the gap in the garage door. Then for the 2nd job where they came back to fix the gap, they did not arrive during their scheduled time (between 7-9) and I again had to initiate a conversation to find out why they were late (working on another job but it was scheduled the night before) and when they would be arriving (10:30). Eventually everything was completed and in the end and the workmanship seems to be fine. They did take some money off the invoice due to all the inconveniences, which was nice. However, overall it took 8 months to complete the job when initially it had been promised to be completed in 3. The whole experience was very frustrating, and it was primarily due to terrible communication and disorganization. I would not recommend PJ's for any future jobs.”

“It cost me $520 to replace a tire, but I like their work on my house to clean up. So I will give them zero. I had to pick up over 200 nails with a magnet. The manager went over the field, but I don't think it worked; two tires needed to be replaced, and one of them was high-performance tires that cost me $520! They did an excellent job, but it was more expensive than I expected!”

“They didn't get a permit from the town. So once they started they ripped off all the siding and the town shut us down due to no permit. Our house sat with tieback wrapping for weeks while we waited to get the permits from my town. They did not pay any attention to my plants or flowers. They trampled everything, they did not put down tarps, so paint chips were all over my mulch. The other big thing is when they messed things up, and I would point it out, the project manager would say “it wasn't me”. He denied responsibility for anything he messed up. I discovered that they just put siding over rotten wood instead of replacing it like they were supposed to.”
