"Everyone claims to offer the best products and service. While your salesperson was effective at closing the deal, what followed was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. During a period when I was balancing work responsibilities and a death in my family, I was repeatedly contacted and pressured to schedule an installation date. The representativeās aggressive tacticsāincluding stating that I would be charged 20% of the total cost if I did not immediately scheduleāwere unnecessary and felt threatening. That level of pressure was completely inappropriate given the circumstances. The installation itself was routine; however, one of the windows was scratched. The installer informed me that your team would be reaching out to replace it. I hope that the urgency shown in pressuring me to schedule will be matched in promptly correcting this issue. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Power Home Remodeling and will be sharing my experience publicly."

Then when it came to the install date, everything went wrong. Huge mess was made, one installer, very loud, he was here from 10:30am until 1:30am. We missed work and lost sleep over it and so did our children. It was very unprofessional. Then in the light of the next day the job was very sloppy. On a positive note, we did have a project manager come by and he agreed to fix the mess and all the mistakes made by the previous installer. All in all we missed several days of work, but thankfully the job is done."

"The roofing company was not prepared to roofing my house. At least one person on the job needs to communcate in english. It's like they didn't know what the game plan was for my house.They knew how to apply shingles. They broke a ceiling joist on my back patio. It didn't appear they knew I have a pool. I covered my pool with a tarp. One of them broke the drain on the A/C unit. They didn't inform me it was broke and they didn't bother to fix it."

"I am likely to recommend them to a friend, but I do have a few issues with the caulking. In one too, some of the caulking on half of the window is different from the other side. One side is clear and the other side is white. I could clearly see the difference. On the same window, they didn't do very good on the trim part because instead of being nice and straight, the fuzzy part, I guess the weather seal, is sticking out at the top. The bottom is all the way in. They didn't mess up too much, but it looks horrible and I didn't notice the little things. As I was putting the blinds back up, that's when I noticed one window's trimming on the inside and it looks like air is getting through, which I'm not happy about. Another window has messed up caulking on the bottom part. They pushed it in because it was sticking out and they redid the caulk, but they left all the excess on the window. It doesn't look professional. I'll be watching closely for the ones on top. They were doing good work; they were non-stop. Maybe they were getting tired, I think, and that's when they messed up and it was almost about to rain and they probably just wanted to leave. Those windows were the last two they worked on."

There is a screen that needs to be replaced and I have not heard anything about that. There is something with the door that is not secure to my wife's satisfaction. We have not heard from them. There are some things that need to be done on the punch list and we have not heard from them. Once they made us sign the emails and stuff they disappeared, so that is why we are hesitant to rate them any higher."

On the other hand I would suggest my friends avoid opening their door to the sales people who are very persistent, offering deal after deal that have to be consumated that day rather than giving people the chance to at least sleep on it. This persistance continued on the day of installation when the person coming to check on the work hung around for hours and continued with efforts to get me to commit to purchasing more windows. It was all professional but over time became irritating, especially since new windows weren't really in my plans. The installers were professional, knew what they were doing, and I'm not sure they ever took a break! I'm confident of the quality of the windows and sliding door that I did have installed."

I got 4 other window quotes, and when I told Power my install timeline, which was late February or beginning of March, I was told it needed to be late January, and then they changed it to February 3rd. The customer service is great, but if you are not fully ready to book, they will pressure you to get it done. They operate fast, which is amazing, but again, if you are not fully ready for them to do a project, do not call them."

"We went with power because in the product pitch they said very heavily that they would be providing us with a high end roof, a completely new roof deck and high quality customer service for many years to come. We thought the new deck justified the very high cost and were quoted that our roof was 1900 Sq Ft. Later on at the end of the job we walked upstairs and were shocked to find that they did not provide us with a new deck but laid the new plywood over the old, damaged, moldy and rotted barn board without telling us that they were making that change. We submitted photo's to the roofing team in Boston about this and never heard anything back. Additionally they did not cut a consistent opening for the ridge vent but seemed to just lay it on top of what was already there, defeating the purpose of the venting. Siding was damaged, many nails were left all around the job site some sticking straight up (they told us the crew would go around the site with a magnet after to catch these but they were everywhere even around where we park our car). However, the worst aspect has been that Allstate is working with us on a claim for our roof that was damaged due to the ice dams from the recent storms and no one from Power will get back to us with the information they are asking for (an updated quote to account for Power overcharging us by hundreds of Sq Ft and an itemized invoice). Allstate needs these things to process our claim and no one will get back to us. If we could redo it we would not go with Power and would actively warn people away from this company, they are erring on the side of 22 to 25% waste in square footage, much higher than GAFs (their shingle companies) recommendation of 12%. Make sure to double check the square footage Power is recommending to you and the size of your roof, they will pitch it is as over ordering as a good thing so that the crew will have more than what they need, but in reality they are over ordering by double, accounting for an accurate 12% waste and another 12% in extra square footage that isn't needed so they can charge you for it. If you are planning on filing an insurance claim very much recommend you do not go with them because the paperwork they will supply you with in their Project Pulse app will not be enough for what your insurance will request."

This is coming from someone that had over thirty years of working with customers in the field and keeping them up-to-date as to the status of an order. Next, if you call, then leave a message / voice mail. DO NOT JUST HANG UP ?!? 90% of all calls these days to a cell phone, at least to me, are purely spam / false / telemarketers. Even knowing the area code from POWER, a smart phone will call a 'potential spam' when it's questionable. Finally, tone down the sales rhetoric. You have a good product and the crews work hard, but if the 'client' is already sick before the service begins, then what's the point?"

So we get to spend money and miss overtime to go to court for mistakes. If thatās how he does business I rather tell my friends and family go elsewhere. Because the word and experience of this place is shit 6.) terrible communication about when the crews were and werenāt gonna come out. This was during the cold front that rushed to do during. 7.) the trim on the walkway between the house and garage is terrible"

"My experience with PHR was wonderful. The time that Art spent with me during the first visit to assess the condition of my windows and to explain in detail the findings, both good and bad, was an education in itself. As it turned out, only my 6 transom windows had significant moisture between the walls, causing the need for replacements. The possible cause of the moisture was from improperly installed solar screens that blocked the weep holes in the frames so that the water during rains could not drain out. A corollary to the cause of moisture between the walls was the possibility of water from the roof leaking between the walls. Art spent a good deal of time in the attic, searching for damp places (of which there were none) and photographing (1) areas of temperature variation to identify hot spots and (2) evidence of future problems with some of the beams (not an immediate concern). Since I was interested in radiant barriers, Art thoroughly explained the pros and cons of the different kinds. In the end, I had them to install that as well."

She was very pleasant and very nice, but the amount of time it took could be off-putting for some people. I am retired, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The process was great. I didn't want to do it in the winter, but I decided to go with you because it looked like a good product, and I needed a door. She was pleasant and excellent at doing her job. It took like five hours. For most people who are working and have busy lives, that would be very off-putting. I understand that it is their job and that's what they do. She did her job and got me to buy the product. You have a high volume of sales in this area, so obviously someone is doing something right."

A power rep has been out but it is still not fixed. Noted the drip edge at a corner of my deck does not match up with the drip edge from the gable leaving about a 2 inch gap. Still no contact for that issue either though reported. I am concerned about the crews doing the work. It appears Power subcontracts the actual work. Doubtful that any persons onsite were actual Power employees. How does Power ensure people doing their work are allowed to be in the US? Additionally, crews speak very little if any English which makes it difficult to express any concerns I have while the work is being done."

On 2/3, my window was 8-10am. The crew arrived at 11:30 without any call. On 2/4, the crew arrived at 1158 even though my window was 8-10 (again no call). Something was inadvertently broken during the work (not a problem). I was told to expect a call to schedule a repair the next day. It was not scheduled until I called 5 days later."

"When we signed our initial contract, we were quoted one price and told that if we didn't use all the materials we would be charged less. We didn't use all the materials, so we got a lower price when the job finished and signed a new agreement. However, when you pulled the money, the original higher dollar amount was pulled. We were told we'd get a refund, but it's been 6 business days and no refund. We can't seem to get in touch with anyone who can initiate that refund either! Also when we ordered our windows, we ordered full screens. But I guess half screens were put into the system. The project manager said he could fix that. We had to install the half screens and we've been told the full screens were ordered and will be treated like a service call. But there is no way to track that the screens were ordered or when they will be replaced. So we paid more than we were supposed to for a partially wrong product and we don't know when any of it will be fixed."

They are guaranteed and all that, but so were the ones that they took off, and I had had those for a very long time."

Power refused to replace the storm door for warranty reasons. I was not happy with that. Other than that, the attic job was fine. The workers were great at that. Patel was great. The door is fine. It is a great door. I am happy with it, but I think Power could have done better representing themselves before the sale. We ended up with what we didn't want. I had a long conversation with the sales guy. He said that it would be no problem to get the locks swapped out, but it was a problem."

I felt the siding team came in with a mission to quickly do the work to get job done within a couple of days as they had another job. After their first day on the job, siding was loose, gaps around trim and windows, and was cognitive of the aesthetics of their work. To have the Quality Manager say that things happen but they usually hear about them at the end of their project, not acceptable. Three times the team came back before all work was done correctly. I am still not certain the asbestos that Ryan, your sales person, found and included in my cost, was even fixed. I never saw any special equipment at my house that would be used. Probably was taken on this. Gutter team did an awesome job and would recommend them."

"Power installed a man door on 1/22/26. The door is not square/level. 1. Just closing the door on the first latch one can see light on the upper and lower half of the door. No daylight in the middle portion of the door. I have photos if you need them. 2. The screws on the hinges were not screwed in flush. 3. Closing the door on the second latch, one can see daylight at the bottom of the threshold from the middle and all the way to the right. Power sent someone to make repairs and decided that the threshold was missing clips that prevented the threshold from rising when the door is shut. 4. The outside part of the door was scratched when installed.Now think that power can ultimately force the door shut totally without seeing daylight, however I payed for the door to be installed properly and by someone who was to be skilled at doing so."

"I have a number of things that caused my dissatisfaction. Number one is that I was told the job was going to be done in one day. It took two days, and even after two days, in my mind, it is not complete. There is still, that I am hopefully going to get, some missing insulation pieces. I contacted Power and they said they would call me back in 48 hours to talk about that. So, what happened was that on the first day, just three people came. Whereas, with my previous experiences, there was a whole large crew that came with a large truck and a lot of professionalism that I observed. They covered all the floors on the first, I am not talking about the latest experience, I am talking about my previous experiences. They covered all the floors with rugs; they came and measured everything twice and made sure that everything was also covered with plastic wrap that may get dirty. Throughout that period, I didn't even have to intervene and say, hey, please be more careful with that part or please cover that part. They just did an amazing job. This time, they didn't put down rugs anywhere, that's one. Number two, I had to explicitly ask for them to cover the sofas with plastic wrap and that was all they covered, nothing else. For example, I had a dining table that is not covered in plastic because I didn't ask and they didn't cover. It got all dirty and they also put their stuff on it right next to the sliding door that they were changing. They didn't cover it, so again, it got dirty. First of all, while changing the picture window, they changed it by breaking it. So, I had three windows, picture windows, they broke all of them. After they broke it, the porch was covered with shards of glass. That is my backyard and they didn't clean it. So currently, it is still covered with that. I will have to go and clean it up myself. I don't know how in this snow condition. They didn't put any kind of tarp or anything to make it easy to clean. The other thing is they put their ladders on the porch and used some nails on my porch on the inside of the wood. Now, when I am looking at it in the daylight, I see that it is actually cracked on multiple places on the porch. They damaged my porch. They put these trims for the sliding doors and didn't put caulking on the area where it meets the wall. I ask about that and they said it was not their responsibility and I needed to find someone else to do that. When I put my hand over it, I can see that there is cold air coming in from that crack that is supposed to improve the insulation after changing the windows. I am looking for someone to fix it at this point. These are just at the top of my mind, there are multiple other things, though."

Removed the mushroom cap off my oil tank vent and threw in the garbage. Could not find it anywhere on property. Thank God I saw before the snow storm and replaced it ($30) or else snow would have got in my oil tank and we would have lost heat? Where did you find these guys? They clearly had no clue. Many miscommunications with sales rep on scope of work and who is responsible for what. I ended up buying a ladder and ripping cement siding myself instead of paying $3500 to have it done. Good Lord this was horrible."

I had just come home from the hospital 2 days before they came to install them. I was told that they would add 50% more to the bill if I tried to get out of the contract. I was not trying to get out of the contract. I was just trying to get the date moved. I have been very sick. They did not work with me. They don't receive a good review. The people who came to my home were very professional and did a great job. I am very pleased with them. I am very happy with the windows and doors. The people who came to my house deserve a 10-star rating or more. Power Home Remodeling did not work with me. They didn't care that I was sick or had pneumonia. All they cared about was coming in here and getting the job done. I tried to tell them that I had to cancel. They do not deserve a good rating. I live in a condo. I told the guy who set me up with everything that I wanted the grids on the windows. There are many condos that have them. Instead of them checking to see if I could have them, they ordered them without checking. I had to be charged $3,000 more than my bill because they had to reorder my windows without the grids. That wasn't my fault. They didn't check with my HOA to see if I could have them. I am not done with them. They have to come back because they installed a broken window. They put it in anyway until another window comes in. I don't know how they stay in business. They are not going to get a 5 or 10 star rating from me. Not after what I went through. What I went through was a nightmare. I am very happy with my windows, door, and the people who were sent here to do my project. They were wonderful. They deserve a high rating. Even those other two guys who were here were excellent. I would give them ten stars or more. They were very neat and good, but I don't think they worked for Power. They told me they were subcontracted out. The ones who did the rest of the project were Power Home Remodeling employees. I would talk to someone from Power, and they would say to me that they forgot to order the windows. They also told me on Wednesday that they were coming on Friday. They said that they would be here between 8-10. They weren't here by 10:30, so I called them. They said that there was a glitch in the system and they weren't coming. I went through that a few times. It was a nightmare. I should have been done a long time ago. You don't wait until the coldest day of the year to replace someone's windows and doors. I didn't appreciate it at all. I am sure if you had this done to you, you would say the same thing."

Sales people were there for hours & then tell you that you that you don't need a roof but pushed the siding & gutters. Then a guy comes the next day to double check measurements & is asking questions that we had already answered with the sales people like what type of siding?? Wasn't all that in the notes? He also claimed they would wrap a pole on the porch that never got wrapped. I also didn't like that the sales people left nothing in writing. It's all on the app, which is a pain to see & read. Then during the installation another guy comes out (quality assurance or something) & he's now pushing that we really do need a new roof. If he's the expert, then why wasn't he there for the initial inspection??"
