"I was pretty happy with the work overall. They were supposed to follow through with a few punch list things and they have not gotten back to us. It has been crickets since they left. They basically stand over you and say you need to sign these forms over the phone so they can leave. We looked around afterwards and noticed some things that needed to be done. We talked to the quality assurance guy and he said he would call the foreman for the siding and they will get back with you. and we have not heard anything last week or the end of the week before that. There is a screen that needs to be replaced and I have not heard anything about that. There is something with the door that is not secure to my wife's satisfaction. We have not heard from them. There are some things that need to be done on the punch list and we have not heard from them. Once they made us sign the emails and stuff they disappeared, so that is why we are hesitant to rate them any higher."

My reading of some of the reviews of Power was that sometimes the sales pitch can be a little overwhelming and time-consuming, even though it's short and good. That might put some people off. The salesperson was good at her job and sold me on buying the door. I get it, that's part of it. She was very pleasant and very nice, but the amount of time it took could be off-putting for some people. I am retired, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The process was great. I didn't want to do it in the winter, but I decided to go with you because it looked like a good product, and I needed a door. She was pleasant and excellent at doing her job. It took like five hours. For most people who are working and have busy lives, that would be very off-putting. I understand that it is their job and that's what they do. She did her job and got me to buy the product. You have a high volume of sales in this area, so obviously someone is doing something right."

"The weather was very bad when my job was scheduled. I understand that this may cause delays and I am okay with that. I am more concerned with the workers safety than with getting the job done quickly. That having been said, I was very disheartened when I was not given a heads up that they would be late. On 2/3, my window was 8-10am. The crew arrived at 11:30 without any call. On 2/4, the crew arrived at 1158 even though my window was 8-10 (again no call). Something was inadvertently broken during the work (not a problem). I was told to expect a call to schedule a repair the next day. It was not scheduled until I called 5 days later."

I started off with the windows. That was going good. One of the managers came and we talked about my siding. I specifically told him that I would like it to be added to the previous project so I could get a total of what I would pay for my entire project. I am sure that I made it clear about the before and after total. He told me everything and it would be $23,000.00. We had to purchase more materials for the siding. I always make sure people understand what I am saying. I'm sure I communicated what I expected and what I wanted. I should've read through every single line, but I was looking for what I was going to pay. The project was finished and I got the email from the loan company that it was two separate projects. I don't know how that could've been misunderstood. I am stuck with a $35,000.00 bill and that was not in my budget. It was supposed to be $23,000.00. This was my first time dealing with a company. Others might be okay with it. I make sure I know what I'm saying to people. It was very disappointing to me that it didn't matter what I said. I felt betrayed. I take comfort in the fact that my work was done properly, but it has to be clear with financial obligations. I went back to look at the breakdown and it's not clear what costs what. I would recommend them breakdown the costs for each window. I wanted to recommend them to others. I'm not here to put them down. They were very professional, but I was disappointed in the end. The bill was higher when it was time to pay."

The rear windows that were installed removed an important functional feature I previously had — both sashes opening for safe cleaning from inside the home. This change was not clearly explained during the sales process and was presented as an upgrade. "One of the windows above our door got shattered during installation by the installers. When the project manager came a few days later, he didn’t even know about the incident. We were told it would take 2-4 weeks to come in. I called Power Home around week 3 because we hadn’t heard from them yet, and they made it seem like nothing was even ordered yet. We waited a few more weeks and they left a voicemail saying it would happen on a specific date. We didn’t hear back from them the day before the date so we called to confirm it was still happening and they blamed us for the lack of communication. We had to wait another 2 weeks for the window replacement and there was nothing done on Power Homes end to try to rectify their numerous mistakes. We have done many projects with them, but after this treatment, we will not be using them again. Very disappointed, especially as a returning customer."

The people who installed the windows left significant gaps between the molding and the wall. After they left the gaps, they left it as it was We had to call them back to come fix it. They applied caulking that was very messy and very thick onto the wall it was not smooth or straight. They were asked to remove it so we could do it ourself. After a few conversations they were on the phone, and they came back and did the work and it was much more acceptable. We are very happy with everything else outside of the installation process."

"The estimate process went smoothly but neither the sales guys nor the planner who came by later listened to what I was telling them. I told them this house has insulation under the siding and original masonite siding under that. Neither said that it would be an additional cost to remove the masonite or that it would have to be removed. That was not communicated until the demolition had started. There was no choice but to accept the additional cost at this point. Also, it was not communicated until work was in process that since we had insulation under the siding that intersected our lower roof, which was done by PHR, the roofing flashing did not match up with the side of the house. They would need to rig something on the side of the house, that looks terrible, to make sure there would be no leaks. We have been through our neighborhood of 760 houses all built together and have not found one that has anything like what was installed on our house. The project manager said they would schedule a team to come back and fix the issue, have not been here yet. We also paid to have all of our other windows wrapped with new product, however the lower front windows were not done to my satisfaction. This is to be addressed by the returning team."

Pressure treated lumber was installed inside my home. I was told it could be sanded and painted. Ridiculous. Pressure-treated lumber is for decks and fences. It is not for use inside a home further the material is wet because it treated with a chemical and it can’t be painted until it dries not only that it was super rough and had pine nuts, which would bleed through any good paint job. I was unable to get in touch with my project manager. I was unable to get in touch with anyone above the project management level to get resolution. They have been out again and they did replace the pressure treated lumber with proper wood sashes, however they have not replaced the scratched window they installed. The window was scratched when it arrived at the house and they put it in anyway. They have promised to replace it, but I have not heard a word. The second big issue is that the trim on the outside of the three new windows does not match all the other windows in my . Those new windows look out of place. I was told this is the best that they can do and I have to live with it. I have not yet paid for the project because I am waiting for someone from upper management to resolve these issues and I haven’t gotten any callbacks emails or responses."

I cannot recall & do not have his contact info or that email). But no repl from anyone! So what does a customer do ? Leave a ground level basement window unsecured?! … and you think PELLA is top notch? Nope. Neither is your customer service. The other window when locked has room for the sashes to move a bit. We want this checked too as it may affect air leaks and my heating & cooling costs … do you care? You should. And the garage rear entry door — why is there extra wrapping at the bottom of the frame? Does the door not fit the frame? The salesman told me that only works “for a while” … yet it has the same spacer I had to apply in the old door to keep the sunlight (& water) out! If you really care you will contact me after getting this terrible rrview"

I don’t know the specifics, but apparently they are supposed to come. Multiple nails were left in my driveway. I understand that not everything can be perfection but when I get home at 10 PM and it’s dark and I can find multiple nails everywhere then I think the crew should be able to find them as well. My boyfriend also got a nail in his truck wheel because of it. There are also little specs of black stuff. I obviously do not know what that is, but it’s all over the brick in the back of my house. These things are supposed to be taken care of."

"In general, as far as the quality of the windows and what they were promised to be, I think they are good windows. As far as the demonstration and how the salesperson explained it, it was good. I think the sales process was over the top. They were at our house for 5-6 hours. It was late at night, and we were trying to get our kids to bed and go over the contract. We used power due to the quality, and the price was right around what the quote I had gotten from other vendors. Due to the way the units are measured, you assumed the number of windows aligned. When the installation date came, that total did not include 6 windows that were missing. There were 4 semi-normal-sized windows and 2 larger windows. With that being said, I had to bring someone else back out here, and it was an additional 7k. If I had known that, I probably would not have gone with power, but my hand was forced due to the proprietary nature of those windows. I don't think it was a purposeful pull of the wool over your eyes, but it was still irritating"

"Honestly, there were multiple issues. #1. My father-in-law is bed bound so I asked if there was a way to cover/surround him so he wouldn't get anything on him. I was told that Power could build a wall to cover him. I spoke with multiple people and they all said they could make it happen. However, I was told I had to tell the window team when they got to the site. My husband did that, but they didn't do it. #2. The team asked if they could remove the shutters on the outside of our house. I said as long as they put them back they could. I was then told after the fact that they couldn't put the shutters back up. Why ask the question then, why not just explain the situation. I find it inexcusable to act this way. I consider it lying. #3. While reading the approval documents at the end of service I was rushed so the team could go to the next location. However, they didn't do what was on the checklist. My husband cleaned up the area. They finally came in and did the HEPA vacuum and cleaning after I complained. I shouldn't have to remind them to do their jobs. That is not my job."

Then, he told us since we were "return" customers, the price would be discounted and changed the price to something much more reasonable. Looking back on the experience, it seems as though the price is initially given very high; then lowered to make it seem as though you are getting a great deal and more likely to go with POWER. I understand this approach from a business perspective, but personally, I prefer a basic "upfront" approach."

In the grass I found some of the old gutter brackets. The gutter crew was not as good as the other teams. Started off dragging the tarps around. As I went down the steps with one foot on the driveway. Just as I brought my other foot up to step down the guy in the front holding the tarp move it and cought my foot and cause me to fall . My nlkneehit the concrete my jaw he the bumper on themy truck bumper.. I got up and got in the truck to leave. The guy in charged asked if I was ok. I just said I guess. Still can't lean on my knee. Clean up was bad also. Told them I'd be back in an hour but they left 15 minutes before I got back. Front porch gutter was too short and water spilled over the side. Had to come back and replace it."

After that he spent the rest of his time telling us we needed to buy siding for the gable side of the house right now. To protect the new windows warranty they just installed. He was shown a damaged book shelf that was damaged during the instillation of windows. The job had been moved forward. We were given less than 36 hours to move everything in the way .We were informed the book shelf would be moved by workers if they needed to. Pictures were taken. We were informed some one would get in touch about compensation for the damage. WE have yet to hear from anyone."

He wasn’t pushy and patiently answered all our questions. However, being asked four times whether we really wanted to proceed felt unsettling and almost discouraged us. Despite reading mixed online reviews, we ultimately trusted Nick and chose Power for our project. Nick assured us, “All our installers are top‑notch professionals,” but regrettably, that was not our experience. Although the project seemed expensive, the quality of materials justified the cost—especially compared to what friends received elsewhere. For everything fixed on our home, the price felt reasonable. Install issues began immediately. We agreed to begin on a Friday; by Monday, roofing materials had arrived but remained in our driveway for four days before installation began. On the install day, the crew tore off the back roofing section before wood had even been delivered, causing major delays and confusion. Our calls to the site manager went unanswered until hours later, when we were finally assured the wood was en route. On-site management was nonexistent. Nick had promised separate roofing and clean-up crews and a manager present daily. Instead, only one crew arrived, combining roofing and clean-up work. There was no manager on-site. Debris—nails and old roofing materials—covered our yard, flower beds, and driveway, despite promises of immediate cleanup. While the crew eventually cleared most of it, we discovered leftover nails in our yard. Roof installation quality was poor. When my husband inspected the finished roof, he identified improperly positioned shingles and noticeable gaps. Although the initial site manager was dismissive, the replacement—Steve—was professional and responsive. He acknowledged the deficiencies and arranged for rework, sending crews multiple times until all issues were corrected. Siding installation posed further concerns. Again, no site manager was present as promised. The crew drilled holes into our newly replaced roof to support scaffolding, which alarmed us. They explained this was standard procedure, though it seemed risky. The siding product itself was good—board-and-batten style—but the installation was sloppy: improper cuts around windows and outlets, missing weep holes on the drip edge, and visibly bulging sections. Cleanup was slightly better, but still handled by the same crew. Product return policy was misrepresented. Nick told us unused new materials would be left with us and that we could keep any old materials upon request. Neither was honored. The crew removed all unused items, and our old gutter metal was taken without adjustment to the price. Gutter installation failed as well. No manager attended the gutter crew. The hangers used were incorrect and weak, causing the gutters to sag and allow rain to run between the house and gutter. Steve inspected again, ordered a full reinstallation, and returned multiple times—but once again, drilling into our roof caused concern. The sealing afterward was poorly done. Despite all of this, Steve saw the flaws and ensured every issue was corrected, eventually delivering a satisfactory outcome. That said, the process was drawn-out, stressful, and inconsistent with the “top‑notch professional” standard sold to us. In summary: The sales experience with Nick was exceptional—informative, honest, and trustworthy. But the installation execution fell far short, with miscommunication, poor workmanship, no consistent on-site management, and misleading policies. In the end, the project was completed—and now looks great—but only after weeks of our oversight and repeated callbacks. Steve’s responsiveness salvaged things, though we shouldn’t have needed it. Would we recommend Power Inc? No. Unless you are prepared to closely monitor the crews and document every discrepancy, I would advise caution. If you do choose this company, be persistent: note every issue and continue escalating until everything meets expectations."

"Originally I had them come out to quote replacing a window and door with two sliding doors and found out they don't do that work (replacement only not remodels). I didn't want to waste the guys time so I asked him to quote us on trim and fascia since many areas were rotted. I despised the push to do same day signing for a discount (company policy not the salesman he was awesome). It really annoyed me and we almost didn't sign but luckily we already had a few quotes to compare it to and their price was good. Communication was good until the day of work. The crew stayed until 7:30pm to finish the work. Rain was in the forecast for the next day so I think they thought they had to finish same day. I wish we would have asked them to leave and come back another day. They worked in the dark and one of our gutters was attached to the siding instead of the vertical boards (like the other 3) as requested. A bit disappointed by this. I think they rushed due to the lack of light and otherwise would have done a excellent job had they come back or scheduled more time for the install (also checked the forecast). Also, a project manager never came out to review the work and do a walk through with us. We originally scheduled for the night of the service then asked to reschedule due to the timing (work not yet complete and no light to do the review with him. We didnt want to do this by flashlight.). We never received a call back and have yet to do a walk through with anyone. I think they have a good team, product and installers. It seemed like a few unlikely events added up to the inferior service quality in this case."

We told them if they removed the existing caulk to replace the siding (which they had to do) without installing new caulk or some other waterproofing, rainwater would pour into the garage. Project managers promised it would not happen. At the first rain after installation, we had a waterfall inside the garage because of their negligence. Multiple times, two project managers said they would come and inspect it and they did not. One manager, Robert, told me he would discuss with his superior removing the bottom level of siding to install flashing to prevent water infiltration. He never called me back. When my wife called to complain, the main office told her that their notes said that I had agreed the problem was resolved. This project manager is a bloody liar! Additionally, they promised multiple times to come back and finish the incomplete caulking around the brick wall. It finally took a section of THEIR siding blowing off our house to make them come back and finish the other work. During the course of attempting to have these repairs done, the project managers stopped answering my calls and stopped replying to my texts and voicemails. I will NEVER hire them for anything again. I will go out of my way to make sure nobody I know hires them for anything."

Was told by salesperson roof protection was being nailed, it was stapled as I thought it would be. Ridge cap brought didn't fit correctly, had to replace our old one. We have vinyl siding and workers had to remove channels to put on drip edge and nailed back in place. Has to be movable for expansion of siding. Cleanup was very good and time spent was also very good."

"I was really disappointed with the lack of follow-up (no follow up) from the person who sold me the windows. Because of the long conversation we had, the amount of time spent during the sell, I genuinely thought the transaction was more than transactional; I thought there was at least a slither of a relational transaction, that the salesperson genuinely cared about more than a sell. I became suspicious of the price I'd agreed to after receiving a number of calls from persons involved in the process. I've lost track of the number of layers of management that seemed to be involved, but I do recall thinking the number of persons who seemed to be involved in the process (walk-by person (initial contact), salesperson, person who called to let me know another person will call with an installation timeframe, the person who called to provide the installation timeframe, the person who called on the day of installation to let me know that the installers will call, the person who called to let we know another person will come by after the installation to ensure the quality of the installation, and then the so-called quality person was really another salesperson attempting to land a sell for more replacement windows) far exceeded the two men who actually did the work. The process was a lesson learned opportunity for me. I was definitely out of character for me to fall prey to the "but if you sign today" sales pitch but, again the salesperson lulled me into thinking the transaction was more than transactional. Never again. I will give it to the young man, he was really good. The opportunity to make another sell in the guise of ensuring a quality installation was also very disappointing. Maybe because of my age, I stuck in the time when customer service had some value. Ona positive note, the installers went about their work professionally, calling to let me know they were enroute, the lead installer introduced himself, and they were careful about laying down floor-covering to ensure dirt was not tracked into my home. The window cleaning could have been better, but I guess because the sun was not shinning at the time of cleaning, they were unaware of the streaks left in the windows. The "quality" guy did a good job in explaining the operation of the windows, and he also provided a possible explanation as to why the siding on my home is buckling. The sun was shining on the side of my neighbor's side-windows, and the reflection generated enough heat such that it was easily felt on our hands. I am not likely to recommend your company for the reasons state. I take full responsibility for not doing my homework before signing a contract. To be fully transparent, I have not compared the cost of the windows with another company. I have enough buyer's remorse."

We have a no soliciting sign clearly visible, but she acted like she did not see our no soliciting sign. We were considering new windows at the time. The woman mentioned that the neighbors were also going to get new windows. I explained that if Power was going to do the neighbor's windows, they were probably really good. Jason came out and set everything up. He was amazing. I found out two days later that the neighbors were not actually getting the windows completed, as they had just called and inquired. I did not like the lying. Everything else was great. There were some mishaps but the lying part threw us off, as that is something we teach our kids not to do. That really made us not want to go through with the project. I felt bad as Jason had spent 5 hours explaining and measuring the windows. Cory came out to re-measure and I explained we may not go through with the project. That was when things started to shift as we were thinking about doing the siding and trim before the windows. We wanted to see the kind of quality of work Power completed so we decided to go with the windows to find out. After talking with Jason and finding out that the neighbors were not using them, I went online and found out that a lot of people have the same issue of the door knocker still coming to the door with the no soliciting sign that is right at the door. I have a ring doorbell, so I could see that she saw the sign, and I guess she did not want to ding-dong-ditch us. I think she thought she got away with it and tried to play it off. The lying about the neighbors actually having work completed instead of just the inquiry made me mad. Power Home Remodeling turned it around though, and the guys did a good job when they came out. As a whole, Power Home Remodeling fixed their mistakes, so I would give Power four stars."

"Issue with Installation and Windows installed by Power on 9/7 and 9/8: Power continues to send me text and emails about e-signing a completion document. I will never sign the completion certificate with the way it is currently written. I am not satisfied with the work. I do have service requests and I have a litany of complaints. The few positives are the guys showed up on time, were polite and cleaned up fairly well at the end of the day. Also, they were able to save the green in the front of the house. Aesthetically the windows look alright. Sales Guy- Matt? Watson Other than being pushy about the only way to get this price is to sign-up today, which is a tactic I find to be obnoxious I did not have issue with the sales guy except for the item listed below. However, based on my complaints and issues I brought up during the installation, I guess I should have since the installers seemed to blame a lot on him. When meeting with the sales guy, Walter repeatedly said we do not want to lose glass space and kept saying you are not packing it down are you and when I told him I like the prairie style (aka queen-anne) we were told we would not lose glass space and we lost ~2.5 inches in width. That I am not at all happy about. Once I discovered the size of the windows in relation to the space, I was shocked. I asked why did I order custom windows if they are not built to fit. They said they use spray foam to make them fit. I said I do not have any memory of a mention of spray foam to fill in the gaps when installing windows. They said the sales guy should have covered that with me. It bothered me so much I literally watched all our ring camera video of the conversation with the sales guy and it was not mentioned. In all honesty very little about the install process was mentioned, other than they plan for 2 days but aim to complete in one day. On days of install two of the different installers commented that the windows were a little small for the space. With sales guy when he said they would do the install in one day, Walter expressed concern about doing it all in one day and said we did not want a big crew because it would become hack job and sure enough that is what it became on the first day. My boyfriend is a high-end carpenter, specializing in door installation but has also done windows so has the knowledge of how they should be done. I have since read and understand the windows have to have a little space around them to expand and contract with the house, but would expect it to be more a quarter inch not a half inch. When the installers showed up on Saturday morning, I asked who was in charge, one of the guys identified himself. We both told him we wanted the downstairs completed (4 garage, two downstairs bedroom windows and the office window) prior to them starting on the upstairs due to needing to confine the dogs. We said we had them confined upstairs and once they finished the downstairs we would move them down there. We also asked them to come find us and tell us before they were moving to the next area. Next thing I know gate to the backyard is open, doors are open and two guys are working on the living room windows but the downstairs was not done. The dogs almost got out. I again went and found the lead guy and said what do we have to do to get folks to listen. Again, expressed concern that two folks had started on the living room when the downstairs was not completed. He came back and said they are just working on the outside, and not taking them out and are not coming inside. Do the below 3 pictures look like they were not taking them out. On my way to find the lead I saw what was going with one of the windows in the downstairs bedroom. The window sill had a rotted-out area and the installer was just filling it with what appeared to be random pieces of stuff. I asked what he was doing and told him I was told if there was rotted areas they would be taken out and replaced. They looked up contract and said I only had one replacement. I said visibly they had only seen one place they knew needed replaced, in the small bedroom. I also asked how would you even see all the rotted areas them until you take the window out. I also said sales guy told us if they found more rotted section’s they would replace them. Installer said they normally just cut out the spot and fill it in. I said that was not acceptable, what was to stop the rest of the existing board from rotting. They said they would put metal over it. I said it just had metal over it and it rotted so why would that stop it now. I received no answer. We went with the lead guy back to the front of the house to show what was going and how they were tearing out the windows and had one halfway open now. Somewhere in this back and forth I saw the garage windows and the amount of space around them and was in shock. I asked why did I order custom windows if they are not going to fit. I got the spiel they always have to be smaller and they fill it in with foam. When I came back around the side of the house again the guy working on the downstairs bedroom window was covering up the sill with metal and had not fixed the rotted space. He had not cut it out but just stuffed something in there and it appeared was trying to cover it before I could see. I told him to stop. I was completely frustrated and dismayed. I asked for PM’s number and the lead guy got me Jordan’s number and I called. When he asked how it was going, I told him it was a shit show. My perception was these guys were going as fast as they could and it was a hack job. He told me the quality assurance guy would be there shortly. I had thought Jordan was the guy that had come out and done the 2nd measurements, I found out that was CJ. So not really sure what Jordan’s role was other than to be called the PM, not really sure what it was he was PM’ing since I didn’t meet him and he was not there supervising the job. Removing existing old windows: I was in shock to see they used hammers and screw drivers to pry the old windows out. It chipped up the jambs and, in several places, large chunks of wood came out that were not replaced. It is mangled all over the place versus being flush. They should have at least cut the blind stop out, which is the outer window stop since it’s the support for the brick molding. The outer stop was chiseled out versus being cut flush which left gaps all over which I believe were then just covered up with metal. Due to how bad this all seemed I looked up videos on pella window installation, the pella installation instructions, best practices for window removal and installation, etc. The pella instructions, page 3, section 1, letter c., says to cut it flush with the side of the frame is the correct way to do it when removing the old window. Instead, I had a hack job everywhere. See pics below for the gaps left and chunks of wood missing. It became a mad house to me because now Walter and I were both running around trying to check what was going on now that we had discovered how bad it was. Walter yells for me to come see the downstairs window on the back of the house due to the basement office window was a mess. The first thing we saw was they were using a piece of brick mold backwards to use as patching for the window sill. It also had a section of rotted sill. There were patching a piece of brick molding versus replacing the whole thing. They used some piece of plastic for one piece and then random pieces of other things. While the QA guy pointed out things they were doing wrong it ultimately was never done correctly. It still has backward piece of brickmold in as part of the sill. They did not use window sill material to replace window sills. They did not have the material with them. They had one piece of some pvc material but not enough. The QA guy said he would send someone to the store to get it. Walter offered up stores that had window sill material in the area. They never went and got it and used whatever they seemed to have on their truck which was 1 X 6 and one piece of plastic that they had. I had by now asked them to stop and not due the upstairs at all. The QA guy assured me we wouldn’t be charged for all the sill replacements, whoopee since they still did not due them correctly. He said they would go buy the sill material and do it correctly. Since the living room windows were all torn half way out we let them finish that, they all needed sills replaced. They never got the sill material so not sure what is in there. Also, it appears they kept cutting these thin strips of metal and caulking it on to cover gaps but there was not wood or anything behind it. Again, in the Pella window instructions, page 8, External Sealant section, it says if the space between the new window frame and the opening is larger than a ¼ inch then they should use backer rod. We did not see them install backer rod anywhere. On day one, they were patching the window sills with brick molding. For day 2 they had gotten interior sill material and they were installing it upside down as an exterior window sill. My understanding is interior window sill is 11/16 inches thick and 5 1/4” in length and exterior sill is 1.25 inches thick and 6.75 inches in length. What they patched with was short in width and thickness. Below is a picture of how they did one of the window sills in the workout bedroom. Look at how short that piece is, in first pic above you can see the partial black line is where the caulk line had been before. That looks an inch or so short. In the second picture I circled how big the gaps were. Due to how bad this was and because they still didn’t have the correct materials Walter covered all of this with the black flashing tape in an attempt to try to protect it from water. They then just covered all this in the metal. If Walter had not put that tape down, they would have just covered these gaps the way it was in metal. How that can be considered acceptable to you I have no idea. By the way, this window was done by your lead guy. From what we could see they used very few shims and where they did use them, they were not weather resistant. When going back and looking at the how the windows were screwed in, we discovered that they did not put the center screws in and for the screws they did put in, they did not put the caps on them. In addition, they seemed to drill their own holes for the center and then placed drywall screws in them. Below is the downstairs office window When they came back on the 2nd day, Walter realized they had not been using Window flashing on any of the sills. He had some that he started using and sent me to the store to buy Pella Flashing tape. Why is it that they make Pella flashing tape for this very purpose but you do not utilize it. Walter installed the flashing tape on all windows done on the second day. Again, in the pella installation instructions, page 2, materials needed for install says to use Pella SmartFlash foil backed buytl window and door flashing tape or equivalent. They were not using any and installers said they had not heard of it, nor were supplied with that for their installs. Pile weather stripping is sticking out in several places and needs to be fixed. Did not use level or laser to set the windows. Walter said he believe he saw one guy with a Torpedo level. The bathroom window is out of level. There are places where you can see openings in the caulk."

They fell a little short on that part, but did make good on all of it. I would still recommend this company. They have a patented cool air intake panel that goes around your entire roof. This helps keep the hot air out of your attic. The cooler air pushes the hotter air-out of the top vents. I do believe that this will definitely help the life of the shingles. You get a 50 year no depreciation warranty on the roof plus they ask for no money down. The roof looks great."
