“There were a lot of scheduling issues with them. They were supposed to start our project at the beginning of November, and they delayed it twice before they even started. They came in, tore the roof off, and started getting it back together. The gutter and trim guy were supposed to come the next day, and that kept getting put off. We spent all of November and most of December without any trim or gutters on the house. We just had exposed wood and everything during the snow and rain. We heard a creature in our attic that eventually got out on its own. We spent roughly two months with our roof not together. As soon as they finished, we had a little bit of wind and it blew some of the soffit off of the house. It took them until February to get back out here to fix it. We spent a total of 4 months with a damaged roof and roofing that wasn't complete during the project. They left a ton of screws, nails, and debris throughout our yard, causing four flat tires across multiple family members. So, it's been really great.”

“The job on the roof was fine. My issues were after the roof was installed; with customer service.”
“The work done was not up to my expectations. They did not do what they said they would do, and I had to chase the team to get responses for any of my questions. There was no one representative to contact, I was sent to several different people. It was very frustrating to work with them.”
“The project was done efficiently, well, and on cost.”

“We had a very bad experience with Power. We would never recommend that anyone use them.”
“Don't trust this company. I had a roof and gutter replaced. They did $30,000 in damage to my house, but are refusing to fix it. The amount of damage done to my home and their lack of response in fixing any of it is pretty staggering, actually. It's on the third roof, since they didn't put it on right twice. It's the second round of gutters, but it's still leaking. They still won't come out to fix it. Those had to be replaced twice by them. They destroyed the soffit, fascia, and two custom windows. They're terrible. This is not a company of tradesmen - they're only salesmen. They have no qualified tradesmen who actually work for them - that's a fact.”
“We would like to start by saying pre-covid we had windows done by Power. It was great! They were quick, efficient, clean and quiet. Couldn't ask for better service. Now post covid it was a different experience. We would get conflicting instructions from each rep. We initially wanted just the roof, gutters and upper facia. After the walk through we also got the addition siding and windows done. The supplies for the siding were dropped off 2.5-3 weeks early (which landed on Easter weekend) I called and tried to have it picked up. It was always an excuse "we have no one on that side of town to pick up", "not doing pickups for the holiday", "the weather won't permit". We had material on my front lawn from Easter til Mother's Day. It was scheduled roof, windows, siding then gutters. When we set everything up the reps said no one needed to be home for anything except with windows. The roofing team arrived and caught us before we left for the day. Thank goodness they did because they needed electricity in order to work. To my surprise only one person on the team spoke English. We could not communicate with the team if that person was gone. I understand that roofing is dirty and messy and not everything is going to be cleaning up. But they did not put a tarp over the front flowerbed. I was picking out pieces of roof from the bushes for months. I got complaints from my neighbors on both sides because they had full shingles and nails from the old roof in their yard. I was disgusted to come home and see the mess that was left behind. I called the next day to complain and was told that the foreman on the job said it was cleaned up. All they did was sweep the front steps. I was left disappointed what happen to Power standards? We knew we couldn't inspect the work, due to it being a roof. But the interaction with that team was not what we were expecting. Next were the windows schedule on time in and out. They were good the team came in and ran like a well-oiled machine. They asked when the siding was going to be done, keeping them unsealed for too long could cause problems. I told them in a 2days they said great because rain was set for the weekend and that would not be good for the wood they replaced Surprise! We get a call saying the team that we were supposed to get was reassigned to Indiana and wouldn't be able to make it for the scheduled install siding date. I let them know about the rain and how the replaced wood is going to warp depending on how much rain. Then they find a crew to come out willing to do the job. Willing... And we find out it's the same crew that did the roof. Siding gets done and will say they stayed until 8pm one day. And yes, they needed electricity again. Another headache!! They left a mess and had reached the neighbor's yard too. They completely botched our back stairs. We were livid! They cut a top landing step the put a piece of siding over it. So instead of stepping on a piece of solid wood we had a piece of siding. The contractor from Power who came out afterwards to do a walkthrough was actually speechless on why they decided to do that. Cut wood to put siding on a step. Putting the siding on the step caused the screen door to jam. Which became unleveled which caused a water leak above the threshold. They didn't not have consistent caulking skips around the door and windows. The contractor who came out to do the walk through stayed and fixed everything but the step. There is no way to fix a cut step except to replace it. I feel for the amount of money that we paid for the project things could have been explained better. We called for a roof and gutters, he went in the attic and took satellite photos. We signed and then was told a project manager would come out to measure. He was the one that told us about the siding to the addition was installed wrong and fixing the roof wouldn't fix the leak in a window. We had the choice of removing the addition roof and leaving the main house. After thinking about it we decided to do the siding and then added new windows. Project manager came out picked colors and walked us through how it would look. He never once mentioned the backdoor, an estimate or explanation why it would be more beneficial to replace the back door and storm door now rather than later. But what they failed to mention was they would be messing around with the stairs. He said if they need to take off the rails, they will put them back on. Well, they did and put them on with the wrong screws. The gutter crew was good. They were another well-oiled machine. One of the crew members came and asked if I would like to do a walk through before they left. We called Power because we thought the quality of the workers were unbeatable now, we feel like it really depends on the size of the project.”
“Everyone involved in the process from start to finish was knowledgeable, polite, professional, and helpful. There was a lack of communication between the sales people, quality assurance manager, and the installers. We were told we needed a cracked rafter repaired, and on another occasion, we needed a rotten wood beam replaced over our garage. Neither were replaced during the installation process and had I not asked them, they would not have been replaced. Additionally, when they said they were going to repair an issue with the fascia, a crew showed up, asked us what they needed to do, and left. We were told they fixed the issue, but they did not do any work. Once again, communication could have been better between the company and the crew. The quality of the installation seems good, but not great. They had originally put the roof, fascia and grip guard over the garage before they removed the rotten beam. When they replaced it, they mangled the drip guard pretty good. Also, one corner of the roof was missing the venting, which made the roof droop in the corner. True to their word, they did come an fix it. I like how the roof and gutters look, and I think the warranty adds value. In the end, improving communication and emphasizing quality of the installation process over quantity and speed of installations can help Power Home provide a better quality installation, and make sure they are able to follow through on the quality of the product they promise. Would I go with Power Home again? Maybe. But I will definitely get some comparisons from other companies first.”

“I had a fan up on my roof that I had purchased a week before my roof was done and they took it down and took it. They said to me that someone stole it from my backyard. Funny I have been here 42 years and I have had so much outside left and NO ONE stole from me. They said they left it by the left over material. I came home that night and saw the left over material and the fan. They called and said they would have to pickup the leftover material I said of course, well they took that 650.00 fan. They need to make a customer happy after spending over 18K for the roof”

“I think his name was Tim and he had me believing that if I didn't get my roof taken care of at this time that I would have to have a contractor come in, and that it would cost me double in the future. I am very disappointed in him and I called him, and he never called me back. The guy that I gave the check to, the 2nd guy was halfway decent. At 6:30 in the morning, there were guys sitting in my yard, and their boss didn't come until 20 minutes to 8 am. I live next door to a woman who told me to call the police after she talked to them. I said I couldn't do that. She said there was nothing wrong with the roof, I have pictures of it, and that she would not pay them. She wanted to get the person who did her roof and charged her less. I said to one of the workers who came here from Florida yesterday, who was on the roof, what do you know about roofing; I am still picking up nails, everywhere, and they are stuck in the deck.”

“They were on time, did the work when they came, only thing I didn't like was that we agreed on something and they decided we didnt and didnt inform us until they already laid roof down. but other then that they were quick to remove , replace and clean the area.”
