“I would not recommend Power House Remodeling to anyone. If you decide to hire them, make sure every single detail is explicitly written into the contract. Specify what materials can be removed or discarded, what must remain, how the installation should be performed, the number of workers assigned to the job, and expectations for cleanup both inside and outside the property. Include requirements for sealing windows that are not replaced and a quality inspection within 3–5 business days. If it matters to you, also document who will be doing the work, including names, background checks, and identification. They strictly follow only what is written in the contract—anything not documented becomes the homeowner’s responsibility. Avoid relying on verbal agreements; get everything in writing.”

So I think they need to find, local providers in the region to get the fair market value. They just deal with one, manufacturer that builds them. They're more like Northern, so their prices are a little bit higher. I'm living in San Antonio, and everything is cheaper down here. So the cost of the window is a little bit expensive for down South.”

“They told me when the inspector would come over, they would inspect the windows and everything. There were some nails and screws that they screw the windows in with, and some caps to hide the screws. The inspector was supposed to have put them in so that I wouldn't have to do it myself. They, Power, told me that someone was to come over to do the rest, but nobody showed up. I had to do it on my own. It was just some holes that the windows were supposed to have some caps to put in to hide the screws, but they didn't end up doing that. I had to do it. Other than that, I am happy with everything else, to be honest.”

“The windows are very good. They are energy efficient. No cold air is coming through. The estimation and the whole process was very smooth and very though. The installation did not go very well. The people who installed the windows left significant gaps between the molding and the wall. After they left the gaps, they left it as it was We had to call them back to come fix it. They applied caulking that was very messy and very thick onto the wall it was not smooth or straight. They were asked to remove it so we could do it ourself. After a few conversations they were on the phone, and they came back and did the work and it was much more acceptable. We are very happy with everything else outside of the installation process.”

“They finished the job 2 months ago and there are still problems. They came out a number of times and there are still problems. I am waiting for them to come out again. I don't know if they will come out of if I have to call them again. The siding has ripples in it, some things are crooked, and they haven't come out to fix things. The last thing I heard was the fellow was going to come out, that was the head of the people that come out and fix problems, maybe quality control. He was supposed to come out in a couple of weeks, I said good, but he never showed up and that was 2–3 weeks ago. I have called since, they say I am on the list, but I have heard that before. I didn't want to take the survey because I am a disgruntled client, but they haven't fixed anything yet.”
