“I would recommend Power Home Remodeling. I have dealt with a lot of different contractors, and there are things that come up with dealing with them. I had questions come up that I still wrestle with. They come in and do a good explanation of what their windows do, and then they bring in an experienced team and work quickly and efficiently. There are some little things that are never brought up, for instance, the windows come in and are in tact, and I have blinds, but I guess they do not have people that do blinds, which might have influenced my decision to go with them. They did do a good job and the installers were an experienced crew. One of the windows they did measurements for, and it had to be adjusted after the rest of the windows were installed. It went from a sliding window to an awning type window to make sure it was sealed correctly on the outside, but it was not something I thought about before, and it does fill the need. I guess there is a minimum size of window that they offer, and they cannot produce all sizes of windows, so they had to switch to another choice.”
“The installers were very professional. They came in and explained everything they were going to do before they started,asked if we had any questions. The cleanup was excellent. we had a window that was cracked and they took the window and frame out in one piece. The window didn’t go any further cracking. It was just an excellent job. Would we recommend anyone to call your company? No doubt in my mind and the big test came not from the building inspector who passed it with flying colors. They even even asked who did it but my grandson who’s a realtor came and looked and was very impressed and said that would be one of the first things he showed a buyer.”

“I told the PM I had no outdoor power outlets, and was told the crew would bring a generator. Upon walkaround after they had left, I discovered that, with neither my knowledge nor permission, the crew entered my basement, found MY outdoor extension cord, and ran it out to my back deck, leaving the door wide open. Under NO circumstances should a contractor be checking doors to see if they are locked, and the let themselves in. Should this review be seen and addressed, I would be willing to change my response.”
“Request wheelchair threshold. Got a handicap threshold which is different and makes it even more difficult for my husband to get in the doorway. Some one was supposed to checking getting this fixed but never received and kind of communication.”

“One of the windows above our door got shattered during installation by the installers. When the project manager came a few days later, he didn’t even know about the incident. We were told it would take 2-4 weeks to come in. I called Power Home around week 3 because we hadn’t heard from them yet, and they made it seem like nothing was even ordered yet. We waited a few more weeks and they left a voicemail saying it would happen on a specific date. We didn’t hear back from them the day before the date so we called to confirm it was still happening and they blamed us for the lack of communication. We had to wait another 2 weeks for the window replacement and there was nothing done on Power Homes end to try to rectify their numerous mistakes. We have done many projects with them, but after this treatment, we will not be using them again. Very disappointed, especially as a returning customer.”

“You gave a quote for the work, then when we were surprised at the high cost you immediately came back with a lower cost if we signed that day. If you can do for the lower cost for committing that day then you should be able to do for that same cost to begin with. Also didn’t like that you needed to do a credit check when form of payment was to be cash.”

“I would not recommend Power to anyone. I have had several issues with my install and windows, and have requested a call from a manager, but have never been contacted. I was misled on the price and per-month payment, and haven't received a call back. An unresolved issue with damaged caulk remains, and I have not received a call back. i asked for a specific product (which I supplied) to be used to clean and kill the mold spores when the team was doing the gutter/soffit/fascia installation, and discovered they had set it aside to use a standard household cleaner that would not clean or kill mold spores. Every time I look at my windows or my gutters, I am reminded of the poor customer service, nonexistent communications and follow through, and lack of professionalism by this company.”

“Overall good construction except the handle set doesn’t always spring back upon entry. The 1” weather blocker on the mid threshold although great for blocking elements can be hazardous for elderly and people with mobility issues. Also not wheelchair friendly.”

“Your company rushed the job and didn't complete the job satisfactory. One of the window screen is ripped and one of the screen wasn't fit right your company promised replace that screen and fix the torn screen in two weeks. But its almost a month and nobody is showing up. Also your company promised to put caulking around our front and the bathroom windows. No actions or calls anything yet. And your workers made a mess around the house didn't clean that I had to clean it. Some of the new windows installed cold air just coming into the rooms.”
