I had them put a roof on our house last year. Good interactions with the salesperson/estimator, great price (one of the two lowest out of four), and overall solid job. I only gave four stars because of a) foreman was not the easiest to work with , b) I found a LOT of nails around the house afterwards and had to get them to drag the magnets more times than they planned (ended up getting a ton more nails), and c) recently found they apparently removed my porch gutter even though I told them I was not getting the porch roof (metal) replaced. The gutter had been put back on almost level so had accumulated a lot of debris and standing water/algae (see pictures). They also had unwound the circular metal mesh I had preventing debris from entering the drain and placed it in flat (see pictures). They also did not put the gutter covers on right but rather just laid them on top. I didn't notice until I went to clean my house gutters. They did not tell me they had accidentally taken it off. I could see that they did not put the screws back into the original holes which would have guided them to do it right. They just made new holes (see pictures). I put the original new gutter on and have cleaned it many times so I know it was done right.

I received lots of estimates from roofing companies. I did my research. I chose Atlanta Roofing Specialists to tear off and replace a BitMod roof in a neighborhood with mid-century modern homes. They also installed 3 new skylights with motorized shades and new gutters/guards. They replaced the damaged tongue and groove boards as well. Best decision I made. My salesman, David was awesome. Communicated everything with me. The job foreman, Sonny was amazing and communicated with me throughout all work that was done. The girls in the office were the best. This company works like a WELL OILED MACHINE. I was kept informed by everyone through the construction process. Communication was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this roofing company.

Great experience with ARS. I have a flat roof from the 60s and they had been keeping me dry with occasional patches, but I wanted to install solar, so it was time to replace it. ARS put on a layer of insulation (R-16) and the new TPO roof Mark Rutherford did a fantastic job of customizing and communicating changes in the schedule and eventually fit me in early because of a cancellation Great worksmanship and really great staff. Mark Rutherford is fantastic. Recommend them highly.

This is the second time we have used Atlanta Roofing Specialists in the 35 years we've owned our home. They put our prior roof on 25 years ago, and we decided to call them again for a quote this time because we have had no problems with our roof since they put the prior one on. The same salesperson arrived at our door this time from 25 years ago, and that says a lot about a company if they keep personnel that long. Even though the price had gone up a great deal from 25 years ago, we decided to go with ARS without even looking any further. They hand nail everything with nails, no staple guns. Everyone from the office staff to the installation crew were all excellent and great to work with. The follow-up by ARS making sure that we were happy after the installation was great. You won't go wrong by choosing Atlanta Roofing Specialists for your next roof replacement.

I recently had a total roof replacement on my 17 yr old home in Smyrna by Atlanta Roofing Specialist. Several companies bid the job and each had unique methods for finalizing the bids. The clearest bid I received was from Atlanta Roofing. Sonny and his team examined the replacement, recommended several improvements we could add and answered all my questions before starting. The job was scheduled and they completed the work on time on budget. They have an experienced team that clearly cares about every aspect from start to finish. Care of my home and cleanup was outstanding, not a single nail was left behind to haunt our tires which is amazing during a project like this. Atlanta Roofing Specialist followup team came back and made sure everything was to our satisfaction and provided the guarantee that now exists backing up the work. "I am a repeat customer. Atlanta Roofing Specialists replaced my entire roof in 2018. This project involved a damaged roof from a storm and a leak. They did a great job. This project involved two parts of the company: exterior and interior. With the exterior, they had to come out and fix a hole in my roof and replace the shingles that were damaged by a tree that fell on it. The interior portion of the job was done through their carpentry department. They had to fix the ceiling in the attic as well as my closet, where it had leaked. Both departments did a great job."

"Probably the best contractor of any discipline that I have worked with. I have a 130 year old craftsman house with a complicated roof line. Lots of valleys dumping water onto low pitched porches. That had been a chronic problem way before I bought the house in 1983. After listening to me patiently and spending time looking over the roof, Mark had a solution. That roof lasted 26 years and upon returning, he said we could probably get a couple more years out of it with some repairs if I needed to wait on replacing it. This replacement went like clockwork. The crew arrived as scheduled and surrounded the entire house with tarps to catch every bit of debris. The foreman and I did a through walk through. He kept me informed all through the job. The crew was very accommodating and respectful to my home and me. When they pulled away after the job was done you never would have know anything had happened. The supervisor did his inspection and ran the magnet completely around the house one more time. Mark came by a few days afterwards and did a complete inspection. He showed me pictures and explained how the weaving of the shingles in and around the valleys was perfectly done. I appreciated his compliments to his crew. Lastly, Atlanta Roofing Specialist attach everything with hammers and nails. I have done enough construction and home repair to know this is far superior to pneumatic fasteners on asphalt shingles."

"I have lived in the same home for 34 years and have experienced two new roofs and various repairs for leaks during that time. When I discovered a new leak, I contacted a friend who had tried several times (unsuccessfully) to have leaks repaired until she was referred to Atlanta Roofing Specialists. She was very happy with their work and highly recommended them, so I contacted them...one of the best decisions I ever made! It is difficult to find competent roofing repair as most roofers simply want to sell you a new roof. Atlanta Roofing Specialists sent a seasoned professional out to inspect my roof and provide an on-the spot estimate. He was very thorough and provided photos to clarify the issues which included damaged skylight flashing and caulking around a chimney that had dried and pulled away. (I had used another company to replace the chimney flashing in 2022.) I thought that the estimate I received for the repairs was reasonable and my neighbor, a home builder, agreed. Once I signed the Atlanta Roofing Specialist contract, the work was scheduled and proceeded on schedule. Each time I called or emailed with concerns, I dealt with the same patient, thorough and efficient person. The day of the repair, Juan and Oscar arrived on time and proceeded to work hard for over eight hours. There was some rotten wood at the skylight, but they managed to have some wood delivered and to complete the job in one day. (Also of note, they still "hand nail" which is more difficult and time consuming than nail guns which are now the norm.) After a long, hot day, clean-up around the property was also very thorough. Juan and Oscar were knowledgable, hard working and couldn't have been nicer. They also provided photos of the completed repairs...beautiful work.Since then, Hurricane Helene passed through and I had NO LEAKS! Also, I have to mention that my neighbor, the builder, called me to get Atlanta Roofing Specialists contact info when his son had a leaking roof. Thank you to my entire team at Atlanta Roofing Specialists! Now that I've found you, I will always call you for future roofing issues."

"Before we had Atlanta roofing specialists put on a new roof/ build a ‘cricket’ around the chimney and place a new chimney cap, Atlanta Roofing Specialists fixed 2 separate roof leaks almost 2 years prior, giving us time to make other repairs on our very old home. The roof, although ready to be replaced, never leaked from the repairs. Would not hesitate to refer this company for roof replacement!"

As it turned out, we were so impressed with Daniel Rutherford's manner and knowledge, we settled on the second company that came out (Atlanta Roofing Specialists) and didn't bother with a third choice.
