“We were without heat for a week in winter. This started with a poorly done inspection a month earlier. A bad report sent back that meant a follow-up wasn't scheduled when the heat was shut off, and then the wrong tech being scheduled to fix the problem. The boiler required a cleaning and they sent a tech (after waiting through the weekend) who wasn't equipped to do the cleaning. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor to come to site or to at least call me and that never happened.”
“Using scare tactics on customers in a high stress decision is never a good idea. Then pushing me to do a $10,000 job that want even necessary is absolutely unacceptable. Good thing I declined and went with a $3000 job. Unfortunately I got a second assessment and turns out that work wasn't necessary and extremely overpriced by $2000. As for the roots in our sewer line. A $20 chemical powder once a year and we haven't had a problem since.”
“The technician arrived hours after I expected him, never giving an accurate idea of when he would get there. He was rude and condescending, and the services were hideously overpriced. We were charged over $1,300 for a visit that lasted about 90 minutes, to replace parts that cost less than $100. It was disgusting, and we felt completely taken advantage of because the issue had to be taken care of immediately and we had no other choice.”

“My initial experience was fine, although the pricing is very high. However, the second experience involved deceptive practices by the sales representative, dishonesty by the sales manager, and an attempt to refuse my refund. I was given a quote for $13,000 for work that I ultimately had done for $2500 by another electrician. I will never use them again.”

“While the actual work performed (pre-season service) was of good quality, the high pressure sales tactic of needing additional an UV light system and annual maintenance contracts was a huge turnoff. Additionally they replaced my existing UV light bulb and charged $365 to do so. I later checked to see how much the bulb costs online, and found it readily available for under $100. So they charged me over $250 for labor that took less than 10 minutes.”

I liked Kevin, your electrician. very much. He was always the one who came year after year. Now that he has left, I'm less comfortable calling you all for something small. “The information that was provided to me when I booked with Service Professional was not correct. I was told there was a basic amount to come and check. A person came and did the check, and he went ahead and he fixed the issues on his own. I have to change certain plugs and for that he gave me a cost. It was a very big cost. I told him I did not want to do that right now. He said okay, in that case, I had to pay him five hundred something dollars. He said it was because of some things he checked in my main power system that was loosened. Which I found was not correct or good. He should have told me if he was going to look or touch that I should have been notified first that I would be charged. I was not happy with that.”
“They came late to the job. When they arrived, they went through the parts to see what was needed, and they did not have the parts with them. They took the part out that they needed and said they would have to come back another time. Instead of leaving the part on or near the unit, they took the part with them, so I was in no way able to get a second opinion because the part and the part number was missing. I called them and they couldn't come back. This was for an apartment building with tenants and young children that were out of heat for 2 days. After a bunch of phone calls, and getting managers on the phone, they did not keep their appointments. When they finally gave me a quote, they said it would be over $500 to fix the issue. I got another quote and all that needed to be replaced was a $5 part. So Service Professionals up priced me and there was no way for my service to be up charged that much.”
