When I had the water heater replaced a couple of months later, something messed up the brand new HVAC and I had no A/C for about 24 hours. Two installs and two mistakes."

"Estes plumbing was a 3. They came out right away to see what I needed to have done. Said they would have order a part. Called the plumber after two weeks and he said he would make sure the part had been ordered. Two more, another call by me and he apologized and said my work order had 'fallen through the cracks'. Two weeks later, they came out, did the work. They were pleasant, efficient and clean. Went to use the new outside faucet and the water power was extremely low. Called the Estes plumber and he said he would stop by the check it out and try to fix it. That was Two weeks ago, haven't seen him yet. So for the job they did, a 4, reduced to 3 because of low pressure, reduced to a 2 because of all the delays etc"

"I was unhappy when I hired Estes years ago to replace my HVAC system and water heater. The plumber was incompetent. He brought a heater that wasn't energy efficient and flooded my attic because he wouldn't disconnect the solar water heater I had on the roof outside as I requested. He did it in the attic. The salesman who came to discuss the HVAC system was uninformed about the federal tax credit/Georgia Power provisions. I was generally OK with the installers of the HVAC system. I had to call Estes last summer on the weekend when my heat pump stopped working. I didn't know you use third party companies after hours. Someone called me to say he would be at my home when he could but never showed up."

"They installed the system I have now back in 1995-96 and the unit is still working, but when I called to do some follow up and the first thing they wanted to do was replace the whole system. I didn't feel that we needed to replace our system. They said that they wouldn't be able to provide service anymore after 2017 on the model that I have."
