“They were OK. They did my house. They did a really good job with making sure the rats didn't come back, but then I had them come out for another thing. They were a bit expensive, and they put out a trap for another animal that we kept seeing droppings out in the yard, but we never got anything. We still had to pay them almost $4-500 just to have a trap in the yard, and that really just seemed like a lot of money. The guy himself did a fine job, but they were a little on the expensive side. I'd give them an A.”

“I had both positive and negative experiences. The first couple of technicians I had, I felt like were constantly trying to get money out of me. I almost quit the service, and then they gave me the last technician I had. I've had him for about over a year, and I've always felt like he's on the up-and-up and always looking out for me and making sure everything was taken care of. When he left the company, that was when I decided to discontinue my service. I'd give them a C overall.”

“I had raccoons in my attic. Out of four raccoons they were only able to take one. I'm not sure the rest died in this attic so I don’t know. I paid $800 and all they did was seal up—and catch one raccoon. The gentleman was nice, so I'd go about a five. Overall I'll give them a D.”

“We disliked—as far as our tech was supposed to come out—they never came out on the day they were supposed to come. Then after laying down traps, he never came out and finished the third part of the job—was with the sanitation stuff. Even after I followed up with him, he never gave a response, so I had to end up getting a refund of the last part because he never completed it. I'll give them a C+.”

“The representative was a guy named Joshua. He was terrific. I had three or four estimates done for the work that needed to be handled, and Joshua was the only one of the representatives that in advance did the due diligence he needed to do to accurately understand the situation. They were more fast and cost-effective than some of the others. I would give them no less than an A. I'm debating an A+—The only issue I had with them is the work thing they ended up needing to do was less intensive than they originally thought, and I would have liked to have seen a reduction in the cost of work, but I signed something, and I held up my end of the work. My overall experience with Joshua and the people I dealt with was great. I would have maybe liked a different outcome of the cost based on the circumstances. For the work, I'd give them an A+.”

“They were very attentive, by responding to our inquiry. They said they were going to be there, but I'm not sure they fully understood the whole issue at first. They make the assumptions that tend to be wrong. So after going after a wide variety, they seemed to focus on the wrong one and had to go back. So it took longer than I thought it should. I would grade them a B. They were there on time. I'm not sure he got it, it wasn't a disaster, but I think it could have been done better.”

“They  come to do the service every month and don't have a problem with them. They do pretty much what I ask them to do. So from that perspective, I would grade them an A+. I did not receive the bill for quite a while. I'm assuming that they have the expertise because every time I speak with them, they are able to do what I ask with providing their services. I haven't had any problems and they've cleaned up pretty well.”

“I didn't realize that they were going to kill the animal onsite. Their customer service was very professional. At the end, I figured they would haul it off and do whatever they needed to do. He asked if he could pull in the driveway and do whatever he needed to do. He didn't really explain that he was going to kill the animal and I was kind of shocked that he would do it right there on my driveway. My pest control company referred them. “It was OK. I had bad noises up on my roof afterward. I was hearing some bad noises up on roof or the attic or whatever. They came and checked it out. “The guy was informative but he really didn't do anything for me. The rodents ended up getting themselves out of the house. He set up traps but he didn't end up catching the animal. “They were the ones who did my outdoor vents because I had some bird issues. There was a bird’s nest in there. They were very professional. Honestly, they were the only ones really willing to do the work, and they were very clear about what they could help me with. Everyone else told me to call either pest removal or vent cleaners—the pest removal people kept telling me to call the vent cleaners, and the vent cleaners kept telling me to call the pest removal. They get an A grade.”

“They were good but then they were not very responsive. They finished the job but I wasn't totally happy with what they did. They were installing a mechanism to avoid squirrels from coming into my attic. In the end, they delivered but they took longer than they had originally told me it was going to take. I would say the customer service was OK. They explained to me why they were not able to come earlier or what was happening. Sometimes it took more than just one phone call for me to get an answer. Somebody recommended them. They're a B on the overall process. The product is expensive.”

“They came because I had a critter in my attic. It was making noises and kind of making me nervous, so they set traps and put bait out. They came back, picked up the traps, and checked the traps. I have the monthly service contract now, so they come out and put the baits around my yard and around my house, so no more will be coming in. They spray for regular household bugs. I haven't seen any of them in the house, other than a couple of slugs, so they've been really good. Usually they do it when I'm at work. They do A work.”

“I did have the service done. I found them extremely expensive. I would never recommend because of that. I think he did a good job but he had to come back the next day because I still had birds coming to the house. He didn't charge me. I asked him why it was so much. He said he had to clean and the birds were there and it was a mess. The next day he came, I had another problem in another place and it just took him five minutes to fix it. He didn't clean or anything so I don't really know if it costs that much. I wouldn't recommend them ever. I'm not 100% sure that it was accurate. They were the only ones because I called other places and they don't work with this type of thing. I would give them a B.”

“Trutech was good. They solved the problem at the very beginning. We haven't had any more incidents. They sealed the area where they found droppings. These guys are supposed to be biologists, so they know about this. I had three bats, and they took care of that. We prevented them from creating a colony up there in the attic. I have no complaints about the customer service. They were very explicit. They informed us in layman's terms because we're not biologists. My wife found them. The fire department close by told me that they don't handle it. They were the first ones that answered the phone and said that they would be here. I’d say they're an A grade.”

“We had somebody come and treat the squirrels in our attic. It was a new house. We didn't really see the man after he came, and he worked from outside the house. We signed a contract with them, we paid them their money, and they never showed up again, though we called a couple of times. He put in the traps where you can let the squirrels out afterward, because he didn't want to leave any dead squirrels inside the attic. I don't know where they put the traps, because they never told us that. They never asked to go into the attic except one time. So far, we don't hear any noise anymore. I don’t see any issues. They were nice. I would give them an A.”

“After doing some additional research, I found out the recommendation I got from my current service provider used them for a rat problem, was I paid way too much and they didn't fully complete the service. I ultimately asked them to leave and cancelled the contract. They did take care of the problem. They did the minimum and that's really all it needed, but they charged us $2500. The other company that I called basically said, 'We would've done that during our normal service and we would've just charged you for the additional traps,' which amounted to one hundred dollars and our normal service was twenty dollars less every three months than theirs. They basically told me I had to have an additional monthly cost with them, a minimum of twelve months contract for them to say that they would guarantee their work. Everything seemed OK at first. I felt like it was expensive and I let them know that. They didn't seem to be that worried about it. They seemed nice at first, which is fine. I guess the problem was I wasn't there and they decided to put us on the hook for the contract upfront when it was only my wife there. I kind of told her, 'I guess we need to do it.' They kind of put on a pressure and if I was there, I guess I probably would've not done it but I had to leave town that day so I kind of missed that. I originally had another company. They did fine. I was always pretty happy with them. They weren't the cheapest. They weren't the most expensive.”

“Its funny you ask because the first guy that I dealt with was awesome like really above and beyond but then everyone after that was not good at all. Well I think that Trutech had a string of employees that were either like kinda not good or that they I don't know exactly what happened it was funny because the first guy that worked with us worked he worked with us for a few months and he was incredibly helpful. He was promoted and moved to a different city then everyone who replaced him after that were like temporary employees or something so I think basically that was the issue no one was there for the long haul so they didn't provide great service. The company kept trying to give us a new guy and a new guy and a new guy and it just wasn't ever as good as the first guy. No that was years ago. The last thing they did was I think was put bait out on our fences. The quality of work was adequate. I would say that it has been a couple of years since I used them but I hope that they have improved their service tech selection. The main reason we stopped using them was that we had like three in a row that were just not helpful. Three service techs that weren't helpful so we gave up and tried someone else. I contacted the company and gave them some feedback. I told them that we had a really great experience with the first guy and they tried but I think that was after the second tech that is when I contacted them. They sent out another technician who similarly just didn't really know exactly what they were doing and it was simply the level of service slipped there. I would give them a B rating it averages out to a B. I imagine it wasn't there fault that they had a couple bad service guys in there. I don't know if I would go that far to recommend them. I would tell someone my honest opinion on how it went down that I had mixed experiences so perhaps give it a try maybe they were better than they were at the end of our experience.”

“Trutech did some work here a long time ago. It was probably in the last four years. What left me unhappy with their services was they didn't show up and said they did. They said they'd be here at a certain time. They weren't. They didn't check all of the traps. They were awful. The contract I was paying for stated for them to maintain my set of traps. They didn't show up. They wouldn't show up. They wouldn't even check the traps or they checked one of them. I was not satisfied. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They wouldn't reimburse me any of my money and it was a horrendous experience. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They were trying to get me to commit to a certain timeframe of service from them and then they wouldn't show up or they'd show up and not do anything. One more thing that I didn't tell them time after time: It isn't that they didn't know. It's that they didn't care enough to change it. They put the traps up and then they never came back to check them or they would come back, it seemed like when they felt like it, but they never even said they were going to come, if they came. And if they came, they'd check one of the traps and not do anything with it. I had no stinking idea when they were coming. I knew when they weren't coming. That was the time they said that they were going to come. It wasn't just one technician or whatever you call the people that do it. It was several of them. They are not recommendable.”

“My experience with Trutech was OK. I mean, the guy was good. They came and took care of everything. I have an old house here that had some places where animals could get in and so they went and sealed them all up. One thing that the guy did, though, and I don't blame this on anybody, but there's a very steep roof on this house and he had to climb up there. He was trying to put a cap on the chimney and I think he dislodged some of the bricks at the very top of the chimney because I've had some problems up there since he supposedly put a cap up there. I don't see any cap up there, either. It's weird when you walk in your house and you see a brick in your fireplace. You go, ‘Where the heck did that come from?’ Then the mortar above loosened the very top of the chimney. The pipe that sticks out has slumped down. It's so steep I can't get anybody up there to fix it and he was the only one that was up there so my guess is he tried to stand up on that and that kind of had a problem. I mean, they did a fine job. They got rid of my problem so I don't have any animals anywhere. I did not contact the company about it at all because it was fairly a bit after the fact that he was up there and so I never noticed it immediately after they were up there. There's no cap on the chimney, which he told me he was going to put one up there. I had some problems with squirrels in my attic and animals in general and they sealed up all the areas where the animals were going in and trapped the animals and caught them. They solved the problem. Then they tried to put things to prevent it from happening again. The guy was good and he did a good job so I don't have any complaints about it. I would give him a high mark except for this problem I've had with the chimney since he was up there. I would give it a B grade. I would recommend the company, probably.”

“I mean, I appreciated Trutech coming out but I told the guy, ‘I'm seeing things that I never saw before.’ Then when they billed me I gave them a check and then next thing I know they're telling me I owe them for $300. That's not right. I paid for it plus they said I owed them for two visits or something and I gave him a check every time he came and it wasn't a visit when they said it was a visit. I said, ‘No, that's wrong,’ and then they act like they didn't get my payment but they got my check. So, I had a very unpleasant feeling when I got through dealing with them and talking to them on the phone. When the head fellow came out I told him, ‘Whatever it is you're protecting my house from, I have never seen things that I see now,’ so I don't know what the heck was going on but it was like a serious trip. They sold me some kind of package that would protect me from ants and everything under the sun. I guess I won't complain about the service. I will complain about the issue with the billing and when they told me they would follow up with the checks and get it straight but then I kept getting calls from them after that and I said, ‘I don't understand.’ Even when I talked to the tech, he said he would talk to them and get them straight because it was May and April or April and May. It was supposed to be every 60 days or something but whatever it was they came and said I was supposed to be paying for a month of service. I haven't dealt with them now in a couple years.”

“Trutech was good. The only problem is the technicians that they have, each one gives you a different opinion and each one tells you a different observation—with that said, you get confused. You don't know what to do, so I ended up canceling the service with them not because I didn't like it, it was because one technician told me that the service they did for my wasps treatment would last for ten years and the other woman said, no he lied, its only once a year. I didn't like that, so I decided to cancel them, and three years later, I still don't have wasp problems. I think the first guy was honest, but the lady who came afterward was not honest. I am not sure. As far as applying the treatment, they were good. Pricewise, they were a bit on the expensive side because others were a little cheaper, but they were prompt, they were good. I didn't have a whole lot of problems with them. Let me caution on what the customer needs to know, which I went through myself. When I signed up with them, I put on the contract, the paperwork, do not run my credit card automatically—not every year put it on my credit card. I need to be consulted before you charge me again. Meaning I joined today and next year don't automatically renew my contract, ask me would you like to renew it or not and let me make the exact decision. I put that in writing on the actual contract, I wrote it out on the contract, and the guy said, ‘Oh don't worry, we aren't going to charge your card. We only do it for one year.’ They charged me $580 for one year, and it was not automatic because after a year I may shop around and compare. So end of the year, I saw a charge on my credit card and it pissed me off. They said their policy is that they automatically renew it unless you give them 30 days advanced notice that you don't want to renew the service, which I didn't give them because I counted on the agreement that I had with the guy who signed me up. But, luckily, I put it in writing. They told me the charge will stay and whether you want to use us or not, that charge can't be removed. I said, ‘Well if that is the case then you and I will end up in court.’ It is in writing, and they wouldn't remove the charge. I disputed the charge with the credit card company, and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau contacted Trutech and then one of the big managers, he told me he was a district manager, called me up and said, ‘Mr. Dajani, I apologize. I saw your note on the contract. It is our fault, we should not have charged your credit card, and I am issuing you a refund right now,’ which he did. So that gave me a good impression that maybe the woman, the clerk who ran my credit card didn't care about the note, but the manager saw it. But I had to go through the Better Business Bureau to accomplish this. Had they done it before I reached out to the BBB, they would have scored higher in my eyes. But, all in all, if I had an issue or a problem, I would use them again in all honesty. But I would also write on the contract the same thing I did last time—do not automatically run my credit card without my consent. Give me the chance to say yes or no. I would give then an A+ rating.”

“Trutech was able to help me with my service. I way overpaid for what I got. I had to pay every month for something that wasn't even really necessary. What made it unnecessary was-part of it's my fault. I already had someone for Pest Control, and they had recommended Trutech for the rats I had in my attic. They had told me that, ‘We can do some of the stuff if they get some of it going.’ Anyway, I went ahead and paid for monthly checks. They set out and there was never any. So, I paid 60-some dollars every month. They took care of the issue with the critter in the attic. I just paid too much to have that all done because I hated them up there. I kind of felt pressured to pay for the whole, big bundle of everything instead of just saying, ‘OK, do I really need to pay for everything?’ Which is kind of how it was presented to me. The work itself did meet my need but they kind of upsold me. They never found anything after that, once they got the initial-which is good. I would say a B- grade for them. If a friend or neighbor asked me, I would not recommend them.”

“It was very positive at first. However because I think Trutech fired the guy who was like our normal rep because he got too many speeding tickets and then the new guy the new people were never on time and was inconsistent. It was different people every time and so we ended up canceling our service. No they didn't compensate us for anything. They sprayed for bugs inside and outside. I don’t' remember it was years ago I think it was a personal referral from a friend that we heard about them. I probably would not use them again in the future. I would give them a B rating.”

“What went wrong with Trutech was this guy came out and he put the traps on the roof and in the attic and different things like that. He came back like he was doing really well and so he eventually said he never caught any squirrels at that time. Then about maybe two or three months later I got squirrels back in the attic. Then when I called back, he would never accept or receive or return my phone calls. I was going to have him come back out. I would say, ‘Hey, they're back. Come help me out here,’ but he just completely ignored me. The issue was never resolved. I don't remember why I chose the company over other companies. They didn't do animal removal. I paid them like 500 bucks and I called back at least three or four times to get them to come back out. They never answered the phone calls, never returned the phone calls, like they just disappeared off the map.”

“Trutech must have been the bee removers. I remember that I liked that they were on time, they did what they said they were going to do, and we didn't have a problem with bees after they left. This was not my first time using them. I believe I found out about their service because I called another company that has contracts for insects in my home, and they referred me to Trutech because they did not do bee removal. I’d consider using them again if I needed additional services. I’d give them an A+.”

“Trutech is a great company, and they do excellent work. I had a wild animal in my house, and they caught it and took it away. They came back again and closed off the pathway so it couldn’t happen again, and then they came back one more time and put up some wire mesh just to make sure things were going to hold. We’re really happy with what they did, and we thought they were good people, too. I’d give them an A+.”
