What a terrific experience we had with Annapolis Painting Services! I didn't realize all the other services they provide besides painting! The painters were professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. They covered EVERYTHING thoroughly and their workmanship was excellent! Thank you!!!

UPDATE: Annapolis Painting came back and made this right, they went through and removed all the old caulk (and whatever the last guys put on there) and applied new caulk to every window/door and piece of trim on the exterior of my house. Having done that I will up my review from 1 to 3 stars. I paid Annapolis Painting Services to redo the caulk on the exterior of my house (EXTERIOR CAULK: Hand clean surfaces work is to be completed on to remove dirt & debris. Remove loose deteriorated caulk. Replace and caulk over existing good caulk with 30 year paintable silicone caulk. All Windows & Doors.) in preparation for potentially having them paint it. I had used them on a rental property back in 2014 that I was happy with their work then so I figured why not use them again. They came out did the work and charged me for it. A couple months later we had heavy rain and water came through one of the top floor windows (one of the ones they supposedly caulked). I put a ladder up to see what the deal was and I saw that they didn't caulk that window or the trim below it. The caulk that was there appeared to be from when the house was originally built 15+ years ago. Lord only knows what they were doing when they were here but it certainly wasn't want I paid them to do. They are coming back out to fix it and I will update this review after the fact.

Annapolis Painting came today and power washed our building in preparation for upcoming painting. They did a stellar job, my siding and balcony is squeaky clean! Even the windows look better. I’m on the third floor, so it’s no easy feat to get up here to clean. They went above and beyond what I expected they would do. I definitely will call them when I need the inside of my home painted. My husband and I just had our kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway painted. We can't say enough nice things about Annapolis Painting and their crew. From meeting with Nick Bontempo for an estimate, to the final job completed, they were wonderful. The crew, especially Freddy who led the crew, were awesome. They were very professional, precise, courteous, and did a fantastic job prepping and priming the walls. If we had questions or concerns, they were happy to ensure we were satisfied. Clean up every day was very thorough We have scheduled them to re-stain our deck now and will use them in the future for jobs we need done. We feel like we bought a new house.

We just had the exterior of our two story house and garage painted and we were extremely happy with the team from Annapolis Painting. We found that working with Will to get estimates and when communicating in general was easy and pricing was very fair. Our house is part stucco and part cedar shake siding and the cedar shakes had to be heavily cleaned. Abraham and team did an amazing job cleaning the old siding and then painting the stucco and staining the cedar shakes. They efficiently did small carpentry repairs where needed. In addition, we had some staining done on IPE steps and they also look great. The team was very careful with our plantings and cleaned up after each days work. They showed pride in their work and the results for us were better than we hoped for. We surely would strongly recommend them.

"We were disappointed with our experience with Annapolis Painting Services. It was not clear who was supposed to be leading the team who painted our house and who we should communicate with. The painters who showed up had no idea what the estimate and contract we signed included, they did not wash the house prior to painting despite the company's website clearly stating this is a standard part of exterior painting. The painters did not know that they contract stipulated that wet scraping and sanding according to lead guidelines as they were explained to us during the estimate (this was the reason we selected APS), the prep process was not completed before the entire house was primed. There was not communication about the timing of the job and on a very hot summer day, we returned to a house with masking over the air conditioning units in our windows. The units overheated and the house had reached extremely high temperatures while animals were inside. Just a call to let us know they planned to mask the house the next day or any communication about the timing of the process would have allowed us to work with them, plan for their needs, and prevent what we found a rather alarming oversight. While the painters claimed they were planning on going back to scrape more, we found that they were setting up to spray the siding color in the morning before we stopped them to ask about the prep work that had not been completed (paint was still visibly flaking and peeling off the siding). Despite the job being complete now, using a satin sheen on the siding despite our specific request for flat paint to be used on the siding, there are still areas of flaking and bubbling. While those we spoke to were polite and friendly, the areas of concern we pointed out were not fixed before painting. I was happy to work with Annapolis Painting Services originally, but I am not confident this is quality work that will last."
