“I was planning to recommend them but am very disappointed with how Adams Moving management handled the business side of the service at the end of the job. Of note, prior to the move, I did provide Adam's Moving Company with accurate descriptions of the items I have and the exact square footage of the area. I also completed the survey with full transparency and listed all the items that I had. Adams Moving quoted me a price and I agreed to it. At the end of the day (after the move), the bill came >40% more than the estimated original quota. According to the management, it took longer than expected and I had more stuff compared to what "he thought" I have. I can understand 10% to 15% increase but not 40%???”

“we are missing a box pictures in frames i looked every where”
“the first move in April 2021 was great, so I hired them again in Jan 2022. The last one was worst than terrible. break things, talked to my neighbor's movers for extend period and cost me money, plus bad attitude when I confronted their problems. reboxed what I had boxed and took their time to drag hours. When come to reimburse the broken items, pay me too little money for what would cost me to replace them. Placed items in the wrong rooms. Made marks on walls everywhere. Never again.”

“There’s no shortage of options in the moving space. You’d think that would be enough to ensure a satisfactory experience considering how powerful word of mouth recommendations would be. Instead, every day that I walk past the damage in my home, I am reminded that no one has STILL not called me to discuss the incident as I asked when the movers finished their job. To be clear, our movers showed up on time and were plenty efficient considering the haul. At the end of the day, I was under no false pretense that I would have rather done the move myself. I am grateful for their service. But multiple issues of damage occurred during the move. Also multiple failed attempts to place items in requested locations. In one instance, two movers failed to bring an item up the stairs. Only for me to do it by myself once they left. My biggest concern was that I wanted to speak to a representative about the damage to multiple items and my home. I recognize that I signed a document that most likely absolved them of any liability, but again, consideration, personalization, and understanding can be a significant difference maker in this crowded market. I expected that. But it has been months since I requested a phone call and have not ever heard back.”

“They broke both our treadmills by disassembling him and didn't know how to assemble them back together. We spent over $2000 on those treadmills! They left our weight said in the yard and never brought it inside, and they broke some of our furniture!”

“They damaged almost everything they moved.”
“I had Adams Moving & Hauling move my family twice. The first time was excellent and satisfactory. The second time, Adams Moving & Hauling did a poor job with damaging the furniture. I will never use them again as the only time I can think of for when the furniture was damaged was when I left to unlock the other apartment.”
