Again I have to say that I do not give out compliments and recommendations easily and have high standards for the contractors I hire for work done on my house and once again, Jamison (this time their Home Service Division) and their workers certainly fit the bill for my high standards and earned my compliments and recommendations. John Dragon Jr. and Joey Lee were at my house four days in a row to do the jobs of settlement crack & brick patch pointing, chimney wash repair & crown coat and to replace the porch tile on my front porch with flagstone. Right off the bat, both Joe and John were willing to work with me and answer my question about their work and how it was done. They were both tolerant with me when I kept emphasizing how much I wanted to fill in all the holes and gaps I could find on my house in order to keep the dreaded mice out. At one point when I expressed dissatisfaction with the way the overhang of the flagstone on the porch looked, Joe actually told me he was glad that I was being vocal about it. I had envisioned a ninety degree angle where the horizontal and vertical flagstone met and not an overhang. We discussed the situation and I learned from Joe that the overhang on all sides is an industry standard and that it is necessary in order to keep water from getting underneath the flagstone; a fact, obvious to these two seasoned pros but not to me an inexperienced rookie. When the flagstone on the porch was finished, I was pretty pleased with the job and both my wife and I decided that the overhang actually looks quite appealing and natural. As for the chimney wash repair & crown coat, they explained to me how it was done, showed me pictures of the sealant they used and sent me pictures of the finished job. The mortar for the joints and the mortar for my red brick that they mixed up, tho’ looking new matches very well and I am confident that in time the natural wearing of these areas they patched will fade to a nice “weathered” match. In the meantime, it is satisfying to me to when I see the areas they patched freshly highlighted with the new mortar; it gives me a relaxed feeling that my house is sealed that much tighter not just against the oncoming winter but all types of weather. As for the mice, well hopefully my wife and I were able to find all the potential ingress points. I know for sure that three of the ingress points that Mickey and friends used were sealed. John and Joe did a Superb, A-Number One job on the settlement crack & brick patch pointing, chimney work and replacing the porch tile on my front porch with flagstone. Both my wife and I are satisfied with the result of all their hard work. To plagiarize from my other Jamison review, if one needs pointing work done or getting a porch surface upgrade, I Highly recommend Jamison and if I need any more pointing or porch surface work done by Jamison, I will absolutely ask to have both John and Joe on that crew for the work. Thank you both for a job Very Well Done indeed.

Jamison was great from start to finish. We were working on a tight deadline before the birth of our daughter and Steve was committed to doing what he could to complete the project on time. We love the added space and the experience couldn’t have been better. We plan on continuing to work with Jamison for additional projects in the future

Jim Sugalski of Jamison Home Services was professional and did an excellent job on the juncture repair & caulking on my home. Jim explained all aspects of the project, completed it on schedule and inspected the house masonry for any additional issues. I will call and recommend Jamison Home Services for any future projects.

My 100 year old home needed stucco repair and painting. The work completed by Justin and Dom was high quality. Every aspect of the job was explained and they treated my home with the utmost care. The finished product matched the rest of my exterior nicely. This is the second project Jamison has been hired for my home and I will definitely use them for future projects.

We had Jamison install their waterproofing system on July 17, 2023 and as of writing this review on July 27 after a couple storms, the system seems to be holding up. The basement would take on water from one corner of the house and saturate the slab edge along 2 basement walls. There was some miscommunication about the scope of the affected area, but the team remedied the discrepancy while on the job. Thank you Manuel, Luis, and Rafe. 1 wall (the worse of the 2) received a the full waterproofing layer while the other had just the base flange applied. The trench drain was installed along the base of both of these walls and converge at the sump pit in the corner. The sump pump discharge line was extended because it would dump water back into the same problem area, however I have my worries that it was not extended long enough (or could cause a leak elsewhere in the basement later on). Our driveway configuration prevented a longer line extension without significant demolition though. Lastly, a heavy duty dehumidifier was added and hooked into the sump pit to more-thoroughly dry the air. All-in-all, this is a dramatic improvement to what was happening in our basement regularly. It feels much drier where we need it to be and I have not noticed any leaks. My primary concern for customers to note is that this system is installed exclusively on on the interior. Because of that, it is not waterproofing but rather flood mitigation. Your foundation will still admit water where it will be redirected by their system. Because of this I feel like the foundation walls will continue to deteriorate in the long run. Eventually we will want to excavate on the exterior to actually waterproof that face of the walls and create a drain system to relocate water before it leaks in. This service fixes a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. If that is all you can afford at the moment or if you prefer the belt-and-suspenders approach to keeping your basement dry, then I would still recommend their system
