“I liked the finished product, and I thought the people who did the work worked in a good workmanlike fashion, so overall I thought they were fine. They did some tuckpointing on the brick work on my house. I'd give them an A. I was pleased with the finished product, and it's probably close to a year old, and I've been looking at it since they did the work, and it seems to be holding up as I expected. I think the customer service was fine. I didn't have any issues. They gave me the estimate in writing promptly, and once I signed it, they scheduled a time to do the work. They showed up on time and seemed to be efficient while they were there. They didn't leave a mess or anything like that. I'd never had that kind of work done before. They explained what they were going to do. They did it. It's held up, so I think they know what they're doing.”

“They came to repair and solve the issue, and so far I haven’t found any problem. It's not a foundation problem. It's like the wall attached to the foundation. I don't have any complaints. I think it was pretty good. They come and work fast, and also they start and finish the work on time. They don't delay anything. I think they're pretty professional and knowledgeable about their work. They gave me several options, and they gave me suggestions on each option, gave me like a trade off from the options based on the cost and the solution.”

“He worked with us—any sort of additional detail, I guess, or little things—he kind of helped out with to make sure that we got what we wanted out of it. They put in I think like two or three beams to raise the house in a corner, and they did a little bit of masonry work. There was an existing crack that needed to be filled in, and they did masonry. Somebody on their team was very specialized in it, so it was good after it was done. They’d get an A-.”

“They had to come out twice and redo the work and they did. The second time it took them a long time to come out, but I think they did finally get it fixed. It was masonry. The stoop that you walk in your front door. The steps fell down, and the masonry work had to be done over. I think I'll give them a B- because they barely spoke English. There was a communication problem. Customer service was not very good. It took them a couple of months to come back out the last time.”

“They were a very competitive bid. They did the anchor. I sell anchor drives. They weren't using any of mine, but they gave a competitive price, and they also did the masonry work after the fact when they fixed my foundation. I think that's very positive. I would recommend them to anybody. Matter of fact, I recommended them to my neighbor. He may have them do some work. It was a foundation repair. The brick on my garage was coming off the front of my house, and they determined it was the foundation because the brick was laying on dirt, so they put in three piers, and then they took a ram and pushed the brick up and bolted it all back to the backing of my garage. Then they did the masonry work of filling the cracks and fixing that as well. It's an A+ job.”

“They were really good. When I called and talked to people about them, the little bit that I had done was not very much. I had some steps, which is not really a part of the foundation as I understand it. The steps were built after the house. I had the steps lifted up and repaired. That was the main thing that I did. They came in and they said they'd be here one day and they got it done in one day. They were nice, they were polite, and they cleaned up. They really didn't make much of a mess, though I was not having much done. I'd give them a top rating whatever it is, A+. They were excellent.  I looked and looked and looked trying to find somebody. I'm divorced and I'm older, and I am a prime target for being taken advantage of. I had several people come and ask me things about it, I'd gotten some other estimates about the steps, and they had not been nearly as precise and exacting in explaining what they would do, and in actually doing the work. Anglin's had such good references, I called three or four of their references, and some of these people had half of their house had something happen to it. Big walls that were fixed and things like that; whereas mine was not that major, it was major to me because I'm retired, so every penny I spend is important. The house that I'm in was built in the '8s, on this street there's been a lot of people whose steps were not built properly. My understanding was they did not pack the ground down enough, it happened on a number of them. I've probably recommended them but I don't remember to who.”

“So far, it's been positive, but I don't know the results of it. My sidewalk started moving and I don't know what's the result of it is after the installation of the piers. We'll see in the future how the work was. It was not a repair, it was stabilization work, two piers were installed to hold my foundation. I guess I'd grade it a B, I was impressed, but I still don't know why my sidewalk started breaking. Too much stuff is going on around my property. I don't know if it's next door construction or if the result was the installation of the piers, I have no idea. The quality was good, but again I don't know what the result is going to be in the future. It's too soon to tell, to say that it's good or bad. they had good customer service. The construction next door is very close, it's basically on my property, but Anglin's did a very accurate job. I'm not an expert, so I could not judge expertise.”

“We had two different jobs done around the same time. Anglin's, that's when we had the wall repaired, a split in our wall and the foundation. There were two different services, the son Anglin's repaired the brick walkway, but then his father's company, Anglin's did the split we had a large split in the wall. They seemed professional, they knew what they were doing, and they did the job. It didn't take long. I'd say it was an A.”

“I was very happy with the job they did. It was a townhouse, and the left side of it had settled down eight and three-quarters of an inch, so they raised it up and closed the gap. They also did the repair of the brick fascia. Their customer service was good—they were very courteous, they showed up when they said they were coming, and they cleaned up the job before left, so everything was fine. I would grade them with an A+.”

“The people from Anglin’s were actually very good to work with. They tried one method, but when it didn't work, they came again and fixed it. It's been fine since. They did our front brick porch that kept separating from the house. I liked that it was an easy situation and that we didn't have to call back and forth 14 times. I would grade them as an A.”

“They did a great job. The house is about 12 years old, and I have an outdoor fireplace that was built on the back of my garage and was pulling the back of the garage off the back of the house. Anglin’s had to come in and put in four piers around the fireplace—two in front of the fireplace and two in the back of the garage. They also gave me a really fair price—I checked with three other companies. I told him that a lot of other expenses had come up, and he took another $500 off, even though he was my least expensive bid. They came over one morning about 9:00, they did all the work, and they cleaned up. I watched them—it was a really amazing thing to see them do. They were gone by the end of the day, and I wouldn't have even known they were there. They cleaned all of my brick and replaced it, and it looked great. They did a wonderful job. They did A-grade work.”

“Anglin’s was a personal recommendation from a friend of mine, and I think they did an A-grade job. The whole process was smooth and easy, from the bid to the work to the completion. They were shoring up a small foundation issue on a little front stoop I had, and I had no problems. The job probably took half a day.”

“The only problem is that we never received the actual pictures from when they did the work, and my husband is hopeful that he will get those. They had to rebuild a wall. We had a compressor on a four-by-ten concrete pad with full brick pads on either end of it. We had built some gas and electrical lines in those walls, and it had pulled away from the house. Anglin’s came in and dug underneath. They hydraulically lifted it and put these two bars underneath it, down to the bedrock, from what I understand. Then, they propped it on some kind of bar underneath. When they got it back up to flat again, they took some mortar and reattached it to the house. They put everything back—when I came back from Florida, I couldn't even tell that anyone had been there. It was very neat, and the mortaring was done very smoothly—no scratches or anything. I was very pleased. I would say they deserve an A.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Anglin’s. They came in, they gave me a fair estimate, and they did a very professional job. They left it as clean as they found it, and they just did a good job. I had some cracks in my brick and the mortar on the side of my house, and I've had some people say, ‘Wow, most people don't match the cement very well, but these guys did a wonderful job.’ I found them in a book where they recommend contractors called Best Pick Reports. I was very happy with what they provided for me. I’d give them an A.”

“First off, they showed up on time and did the work they said they were going to do, and the work was done in a way that appeared to be correct. The jobsite was left as clean as it was when they started. They had to repoint some brickwork, and they had to put up a couple of supporting piers. I chose them because I had brought a few other people in who said Anglin’s did that work and guarantees its work. Everyone else said the problem would reappear and that the other companies didn't guarantee it.”

“I liked how efficient they were, that they didn't make a mess, that they got the job done in a timely manner, that they told me what they were going to do, that their equipment was neat, and that their staff worked hard. It was an incredibly clean job. We were very proud, and they put us back on track. The job was something I had been dreading getting done for a long time. I hadn’t gotten it done for about ten years, but they fixed it, and I'm very pleased. They lifted my stone front porch, and they came in and did tiers. I've known the Anglin’s for a long time—they've used me in my business, and I try to use people that allow me to do service for them. Anglin’s went above and beyond. It’s an A from me.”

“They were on time and did what they said they were going to do, and it worked out great for me. I had a wall where the foundation under the brick itself had sunk, and they jacked the footing of the foundation back into place. Roughly, I think it took them under four hours. I’d give them an A.”

“They did foundation work. Their customer service was really good. I worked with Mr. Anglin himself—he came out to the house twice and did a good job. He surveyed the task and got to work. I chose Anglin’s because I was looking for a full-service company, and a lot of foundation repair companies don't also do brick work, but Anglin’s does. I had also gotten three estimates from all the major players. They were all quoting me drastically different things. When the work needed to be done, I called an engineer, and I asked him, ‘Who do you recommend?’ He said, ‘Anglin’s.’ They deserve an A.”

“They did what they said they would do for the price that they quoted. Lastly, they had to move some shrubs in order to do what they were doing, and they put everything back, even the pine straw, and cleaned the area nicely. They were very expensive, but it was good work. They put some reinforcement under a very large step. We had eight steps that were all brick and ten feet across. I chose Anglin’s because when I read different websites, I liked the way they presented themselves. I pray that I don't need anything else, but if I did, I would call them. They’re an A in my book.”

We were really pleased with it—it was a very good job. Right now, they get an A. It was a job that had to be strengthened and redone decoratively, and it looks as good as it did originally—or better. There was some cracking in the brick in the front of the house, and it was kind of pulling away from the garage. They basically stabilized the brick against the front of the house with bolts. “They have done a few things for me and they've done a nice job. I think Anglin is the guy who owns the masonry division or whatever and he's been doing work like that for a long time. As a matter of fact we use them in our subdivision and we have a brick walkway all through the subdivision which is very high maintenance. They're good about understanding how to take care of that. They've done the brick walkway and we have brick in our home that's outside. This is outdoor brick repair that they did. I've never had to call them back for anything. I actually heard about them through Home Reports I think, many years ago, probably 7 years. It was one of the books and we used them in our subdivision and they did a very good repair in an area that was difficult. They had to take it apart and put it back together. It lasted for 7 years or so and nobody thought it would last more than a few so they did a good job with that. I'd probably give them a B or a B+ maybe.”

“I love the fact that they have an elderly man who is still mentally and physically able. He's older and has lots of experience. I felt like he assessed my problem and gave me a reasonable bid. The people came out and did what they said they were going to do when they were supposed to do it. I was very pleased, which is rare. The cleanup was good. I'm not sure how I heard about Anglin’s or why I chose them. I would say they get an A- grade. When I went around to look at it, there was something that made me say, ‘That doesn't look exactly right.’ They had to spruce something up just a little bit, but there was absolutely no question. They said, ‘Oh, you're right. That could be nicer.’ I pointed out something, and they addressed it; I was very pleased. I would recommend the company to somebody, but on the bill, they wrote, ‘Installed three piers in the left front corner of the house.’ I would prefer—I think it's more professional—if people say, ‘Northeast corner.’ It bothers me when people who are professionals don't do that, but that's what they wrote. They also wrote, ‘Repaired mortar crack,’ and that's what they did. I'm pretty much a professional at assessing things. I was a medical and structural design developer. When they were trying to teach men and women to be doctors or nurses or teach patients about some surgical procedure, I would come in and assess the situation. I would ask, ‘What is this?’ And the doctor would say it the way a doctor says it. Then I would go, ‘How can it be said so that regular human beings can understand it?’ I have a master's degree in translation; I'm educated.”

“They performed the work as we had discussed. I would use the company again if I needed their services. Some of the finish details I would've liked to have been a little more finished, but overall, it was good. It was a small project. They had to do some finish work on some brick that didn't line up, and it just would've been nice if they had done a better job of finishing the brick. It didn't really have anything to do with the foundation support, so it kind of went outside the original scope of work, but it was something that comes up quite a bit, so I would've liked it done better, but it was not a huge issue. I’d give them an A-.”

“We had kind of a mixed experience. They did come and do some work on our foundation, but maybe about nine months after it was done, we had some concerns about some cracks. Actually, it wasn't the foundation—it was in our steps. We have some brick steps in the front of our door. They did some repairs to it, and then maybe about nine or ten months after they did the repairs, we had been kind of concerned about some cracks in the brick steps, so we had asked them to come out and take a look. They sent someone out when no one was home. We had told them that we really wanted to be here when they came, but they sent someone out. He took a look and basically said that there was not a problem and there was nothing to be done. My husband actually called them back and asked, ‘Well, can't you just send someone out while we're here? I really want to explain why we're concerned.’ They just were not responsive. They tried to explain that the cracks were kind of normal wear and tear. They didn't feel it was an actual foundation issue—they said that it was probably cosmetic rather than foundation damage. We understood that, but we were uncomfortable that they wouldn't actually meet with us. We wanted to look at it together so they could explain it to us in person. We just kind of left the issue alone because we realized we weren't getting anywhere with them. We decided that's just the way the steps are. So, as I said, the initial work we had with them was fine. It's just the follow-up that we were kind of disappointed with. It may be that we were being nitpicky. It wasn't a big deal to them, but to us, it was a big deal. They kind of didn't make us feel it was important to them and that we were overreacting. So, I don't know if we'd ever use them again because we had that customer service issue with them. That's why I'd say it's kind of a mixed experience. I'd probably say they're a C. Kind of in the middle because of the customer service issue.”

“They did the work as expected. The technicians were always friendly and capable of doing everything. B. Nothing went wrong, I would just say that for the brick repair, it's still noticeable so it's probably not their workmanship as much as it is, it is what it is.”

“Anglin’s did the work quickly, and it was awesome. They repaired the foundation and did some masonry work, and they did it just like they said they were going to do it. They get an A—they were excellent.”

“Anglin’s repaired our fireplace, and it was fantastic. They were really nice and professional. They had to replace the mortar and bricks, and they even did a little bit extra and shaved the bricks down so they would fit well where the fireplace curves. We used the fireplace all winter, and it hadn’t been working for years. They are definitely an A.”

“I had some work done by Anglin’s. It worked out pretty good. Well, I have one complaint. I asked them to match the mortar color when they had some cracks in the masonry and so forth. They did not do a good job with that. I would give them a B or a B-.”

“We had some masonry work done on our wall and the guy was absolutely top notch. We have about an eight-foot-high old brick wall all the way around our development and after twenty five years with earth settlement and expansion, contraction, and no maintenance on the wall at all. I've decided we've better do something so I called him out and we went around and walked both sides of this wall through bushes and everything else. He gave us a price, and I thought for the price it was a little low. I told him and he said no, so I was afraid he was going to do a poor job. He did an excellent job, did a better job that I had anticipated, and the wall is still just as solid as it looked the day he left. It really does stand out over time. He was concerned about color matching and texture matching, the things that we as homeowners are concerned about. I would give him an A.”

“We used Anglin’s from Best Pick Reports because our brickwork was actually cracked. They came in on schedule and advised us appropriately. I haven't had any problems since the work was done, and that was over three years ago. I would give them an A+.”

“Anglin’s repaired our chimney and replaced some deteriorating bricks on a brick wall. They did a really good job. Anglin’s was very efficient and neat, and they cleaned up well. I’d give them the highest grade—A+.”
