"J & G Landscape Design completed some exterior drainage work in order to correct the problem of surface water leaking into one corner of our basement whenever there was a heavy rainfall. They successfully corrected this problem, as witnessed in particular by the large amount of rain that we received this last weekend from tropical storm Ophelia. Correcting this problem has enabled us to finish our basement with new drywall, etc., a new bathroom, and a new utility room with washer, dryer, and laundry tub. Therefore, we are very pleased with the work that J & G Landscape Design did with one exception. In the rear of the house, where they installed underground pipes connecting exiting downspouts to vent into an existing 6" pipe on the west side of the house, the ground above the new underground pipes is bumpy, particularly behind the right rear corner the house. The lawn in this area is no longer as level as it used to be which is an issue whenever I mow that part of the lawn."
