“For the roof: The initial salesman sold us on a new roof, gutters, and siding. He informed us of the value of the Power Vent system for the roof. We watch a video about how the air flow would be increased. I stated that we already had soffit vents. He stated that the soffit vents were not sufficent because they were below the atttic's insulation. He said thet the Power Vents would be installed above the insulation and therefore increase the air flow. After the roof was complete, a quality assurance person came by and looked in the attc and stated that the air flow was insufficient. Even though we had the Power Vent installed. Then he tried to upsell me attic work. For the siding: We are mostly happy with the siding job.”

“Too many delays on start of work. Poor communication regarding delays and why they occurred. The cleanup at the end of the day was not completed as we were told it would be. We could not leave our house during the work. There was no exit that wasn’t blocked. Darren came to our house two times after the roof was completed. Darren dealt with clean up and repair of a damaged area in the mesh layer of the roof. In regard to the unacceptable clean up and repair, he made no excuses and admitted it was not done as promised. The actual roof installers worked very hard the day they were there. They worked over 14 hours with a short break around lunchtime. The finished roof looks good.”

“If the process from A to Z was made right after all we went through, then yes I would recommend but not anymore. We weren’t important enough for a higher up (VP) to reach out to us, even after a request, then we can’t recommend this company to someone we love or know. I wouldn’t want a single mom or dad, an elderly couple, or even a young married couple to have to go through the processes we went through. It’s unfortunate that greed is more important than humanity. Integrity of a company is how you continue a business for 100’s of years. Our word of mouth will not be one of them. From the knock of the door to the lies of a salesman, the value decreased significantly. Hope they learn from this and become better for the next home they do.”

“I would not recommend because we were lie about doing work with neighbors to try to convince us. After speaking to our neighbors we found out that was not true and that they did not do work with your company. Will not recommend if this is the way to try to convince customers by lies.”

“I did not appreciate the gentleman that came to my house when I got my windows replaced to do the quality assurance check. He pressured me to get a new front door. He would not let up. I called the company to let them know that I was not pleased that this guy was hammering me to get a new front door. He was relentless and would not shut up. I did not appreciate that at all. I did order the door, but I felt like I deserved a discount for putting up with that guy. It was a stressful enough day getting my windows replaced that I did not need someone else pressuring me for money. His name was Earl. It was very unprofessional to hammer me for a new front door. The window installers did a good job, and they did not make a mess.”

“We were disappointed that we had to have our installation date pushed back because we were told two of the windows did not pass quality control and when installed, one of the windows did not stay open and slammed shut. Obviously this window was overlooked by quality control. Additionally, one of the installers was moving too quickly not allowing the foreman to vacuum the debris up on the window sill and was installing some windows op top of the debris. Fortunately, we were watching and brought this to the attention of the foreman. At the end of the day, one of the full screens was out of its track and we were the only ones to notice it. The foreman had to get on the ladder or fix it. The last item to be addressed at the end of the installation was us signing The Certificate of Completion. In it, it stated that we had no service issues but we did due to the defective window and we said we could not signs it and said if they amended it, we would sign it. We were told that Power could not due that, although we didn’t understand why. We said once the window was repaired we would sign it. They left for the day and the following work day we received a call about singing the Completion Certificate. We reiterated that we could not sign it with that language in it. Subsequently we received two more phone calls and let them know we could not sign the Certificate as prepared. We felt pressure from Power to sign and we consulted an attorney who advised us to amend the Certificate ourselves and send it in. It was only then that we stopped receiving phone calls and once the defective window was repaired we did, in fact sign. The Completion Certificate is generic in its language and not specific to a customers’ project.”

“I was generally pleased with the service we received for the installation of the gutters and downspouts. However, I did find some small amounts of debris left behind and am not sure that the wood that was to be replaced on our patio was done. The gutters look great, and we had a chance to see how well they worked that same day as we got some rain later that evening. The downspouts are also terrific; such an improvement over what we had. I am happy to recommend Power Home Remodeling, not just for their work and the quality of their products, but for their pricing and their warranty.”

It was two people that did thirteen windows. They were out of here between 4:00-4:30. That was a lot of work. They did a fantastic job.”
