They had to resort to using their phones for translation purposes multiple times. Maybe hire US workers. They were also planning to leave without putting the top capping on the window until I insisted. They also did not fully pick up debris on the front lawn. "Let’s say it all started with Roman! He’s great!! He knows his stuff. Down to earth, professional and I felt like we could sit there and talk for hours. That’s what really sold us on getting a door with Power other than top notch quality we were getting. I’m sorry I don’t remember the guys name that came to do the install. He was great too. He remeasured everything to make sure it was all good. He had to do some extra work but walked us through what he had to do to make sure it was good with us. He was very professional and clean, even took our old screen door. We used to have a draft with our old door and since having this door installed no drafts, my heat bill is down. I will definitely recommend power and will be calling for future work! Great company from the sales people to customer service to the finance company to the installers. A+ all around!"

"Based on the meeting with your sales rep, it sounded like your team valued each project and would provide quality work. I felt the siding team came in with a mission to quickly do the work to get job done within a couple of days as they had another job. After their first day on the job, siding was loose, gaps around trim and windows, and was cognitive of the aesthetics of their work. To have the Quality Manager say that things happen but they usually hear about them at the end of their project, not acceptable. Three times the team came back before all work was done correctly. I am still not certain the asbestos that Ryan, your sales person, found and included in my cost, was even fixed. I never saw any special equipment at my house that would be used. Probably was taken on this. Gutter team did an awesome job and would recommend them."

"When the representative came to do the “inspection”, it started off very good. Then it turned into a sales pitch, even after we said we couldn’t do another big project right now. We kept getting “oh, I talked to my boss and we can offer this secret discount, but you have to agree today.” This went on for hours. Totally took up our day, when we were just expecting a quick inspection. This also happened after we gave a good review saying we didn’t feel pressured, then it completely turned into pressure tactics. Also, the first sales rep didn’t leave a physical copy of the quote (with all his promised discounts). So now none of those prices or offers can be honored and of course the new amount offered by the “inspector “ was higher. It feels like one huge hustle! The gutters are good and we were considering using you again when we were ready for windows but the all the pressure tactics we just don’t feel that you can be trusted ."

"I have a number of things that caused my dissatisfaction. Number one is that I was told the job was going to be done in one day. It took two days, and even after two days, in my mind, it is not complete. There is still, that I am hopefully going to get, some missing insulation pieces. I contacted Power and they said they would call me back in 48 hours to talk about that. So, what happened was that on the first day, just three people came. Whereas, with my previous experiences, there was a whole large crew that came with a large truck and a lot of professionalism that I observed. They covered all the floors on the first, I am not talking about the latest experience, I am talking about my previous experiences. They covered all the floors with rugs; they came and measured everything twice and made sure that everything was also covered with plastic wrap that may get dirty. Throughout that period, I didn't even have to intervene and say, hey, please be more careful with that part or please cover that part. They just did an amazing job. This time, they didn't put down rugs anywhere, that's one. Number two, I had to explicitly ask for them to cover the sofas with plastic wrap and that was all they covered, nothing else. For example, I had a dining table that is not covered in plastic because I didn't ask and they didn't cover. It got all dirty and they also put their stuff on it right next to the sliding door that they were changing. They didn't cover it, so again, it got dirty. First of all, while changing the picture window, they changed it by breaking it. So, I had three windows, picture windows, they broke all of them. After they broke it, the porch was covered with shards of glass. That is my backyard and they didn't clean it. So currently, it is still covered with that. I will have to go and clean it up myself. I don't know how in this snow condition. They didn't put any kind of tarp or anything to make it easy to clean. The other thing is they put their ladders on the porch and used some nails on my porch on the inside of the wood. Now, when I am looking at it in the daylight, I see that it is actually cracked on multiple places on the porch. They damaged my porch. They put these trims for the sliding doors and didn't put caulking on the area where it meets the wall. I ask about that and they said it was not their responsibility and I needed to find someone else to do that. When I put my hand over it, I can see that there is cold air coming in from that crack that is supposed to improve the insulation after changing the windows. I am looking for someone to fix it at this point. These are just at the top of my mind, there are multiple other things, though."

Additional communication after the sales pitch was not good. 2 install dates were missed with 1 having no communication until I called and asked what was going on. Also we were told there would be a quality inspection and have heard nothing about this and we are now 4 weeks out from the install."

My electrical out cover was broken, my fence door is broken, an awning was put up when i specifically stated that we were unsure if we wanted that put up and wanted to be asked before they reinstalled the item (i called Friday as soon as i was notified the awning was put up), an electrical outlet is not completely installed and left hanging. These are only a few things that I saw. I also thought that at the end of the project we would have a walk around to go over everything. My mistake."

One day it was after noon when we finally called and we're told that the one person called sick so they weren't coming. We had a birth of a grandchild and didn't know if we could leave and see her. The day of the gutters we didn't know if they would come. We called at 1230. Told in 1 hour they would be here. they came at 3pm and started just as an ice storm started. They continued to work to finish at 7 pm. Dangerous as we ourselves contemplated if our homeowners insurance would need to pay if they hurt themselves. Personally think this was horrible treatment of these vulnerable workers. 2. The yard is still horribly filled with Styrofoam, large shards of siding AND metal from the gutters. I ha"

Clean up daily was completed however many nails, screws, paper, shingle pieces, etc are still found. Once finally completed we were satisfied with the roofing system, flashing and overall product quality. The crews are trained by Power not actually employees of Power so a language barrier existed. The sales rep inspected and detailed the project thoroughly and respectfully."

Clean up after the siding was not satisfactory. I found nails and had to bring it up several times and a lot of white siding and facial pieces everywhere which I was told could not be cleaned up. I don’t buy that, your crews should carry electric vacuums that would have made a huge difference in how it looked around the base of the house. I also thought someone should have been here to inspect the work, we had to have them back because the caulk around the windows was lacking, dried and there were gaps. If I didn’t inspect that would have been missed. I felt that having most of the workers not understanding English and me trying to communicate with only one that spoke English was not good. The one who spoke English did as good as he could but sometimes I felt he didn’t fully understand."

I can't stress how much we talked about this. Mike also mentioned he get me a quote for siding, and someone to help with interior work, he never got back to me about either. Come the install, the guys start taking out existing windows. Then another Mike with the install crew shows up, and says they didn't know about the wood damage, are going to stop working until we figure out a new price. Trying to shake me down for more money, when there's giant holes in my house, is some of the shadiest business practices I've ever seen, let alone experienced. After me being totally irate, they continued work and finished the job. Then someone insisted to meet me and my wife at the house to go over the finished product. I never heard from that person again. I think his name was Tyler? A terrible experience from A to Z."

A bunch of stuff on the yard was moved and not put back. More work for me to do. Not thrilled and we had such a postive experience with the windows, this was a let down. Paid all this money can came home to a mess."

They still had to finish the up stairs, and the main floor. They did even start on the two sliding doors or font door till after 3. They had to stay till after 9 to finish everything. If they would have come on time. When we went outside the next day we found more broken shutters. The shutter were not all screwed in and they didn't use the blue screws that were on our. So know I have broken shutters with silver screws that have screws in them. I also am missing two screens. That are to come this Thursday. When they come out they said they would look at the shutters."

I would give him 10 out of 10. He was a salesman without being pushy, he was very knowledgeable, very good. I have a very high opinion about Power because of the salesman that came to the house. Then, I was given a date for the roof to be done, and another date for the gutters and trim to be done. I got a call that they could not do it that week scheduled, and it had to be done sooner. It threw off my plans because I wanted to be here and meet them since I had questions. I said ok, that they could come. When they came to my house, I expected someone to knock on my door, with a shirt that had the company name on it, introduce themselves, go over the things that were being done. Instead, people just started working. I came out to ask questions and none of them could speak English. They all would point to one guy that did, and even he did not speak a lot. I could not ask my questions because of that. They did a good job, they were friendly and nice. They did not have a vehicle with the name of the company and did not wear a company shirt. I was very disappointed and did not expect it to be that way. I thought it would be more professional looking. They were supposed to come to do the trim and gutters on Saturday, but they did not show up or call. They ended up showing on either Monday or Tuesday. This time, they did have a company shirt, came to my door with a clip board, but I still did not understand him and he did not understand me."

We asked to give us a couple of hours. I like the company, the project, and proposal. The other feedback is when the manager comes here the day of installation, I noticed the person noted positive feedback but when I wanted to share negative feedback he didn't take any notes. I am not sure why they would want to take negative feedback. They listened to only what they wanted to listen to. In the end, we like it because they have a very nice contractor. The installation was nice, clean, and fast!"

"There were two windows replaced that never fit. They were half-rounds. The gapping on each side was over 1.5 inch while at the top it was about 0.5 inch. The installers filled the gap with caulk. Aesthetically, this was completely unacceptable at the time of installation and it was pointed out to Power before the installation team left the job. Subsequently, I was told that the windows that Power offered would never fit and it should have been pointed out to us at the time that the Power team came to confirm the sizes of the windows (before installation). That never happened. Instead, we went over 5 months trying to find resolution and in the end it was never to my satisfaction (the gaps remain). I was assured a “solution” but in the end it’s the same - the gaps remain - and we have decided to not pursue the issue further with Power after 5 months. Installers came on 4 different occasions after the initial installation, which was very disruptive to my schedule. It’s a shame that I was sold on having two windows replaced that would never fit - I would have preferred to have left the old windows in place. We were not offered any financial compensation. It would be very hard for me to recommend Power to a friend given how dissatisfied I am with the result. I don’t fault the installers - they worked with what they were given, but I do find fault with the company in that they didn’t follow-through on their promise of complete satisfaction at the outset."

"The only thing I was disappointed in was the new location of the blinds in my window spaces. I realize I initialed a paper that said that the blinds would not fit back into the same spaces. However, understanding it, and seeing the results are two different things. In some respects, the blinds are not centered on the inside wall, which is not a very attractive look, and also having the blinds repositioned on the inside wall, allows for outside visual access to inside activities at night when the interior lights are on. Blinds are supposed to be installed within the window well/opening to keep this from happening. It almost makes the purchase of new blinds to cover more than just the entire opening necessary. And I don't quite know how I am going to handle that. I would make sure anyone (to whom I was recommending your service) knew exactly what happens in this particular situation."

"Power was great to work with during the sales phase and even right up until the day of installation. From installation day (Tuesday) on, it was problem after problem. Issue 1: To start, the install team was supposed to install a new bathroom fan vent through the roof as part of the job. When we got home that day, it was clear they did not install the vent, yet no one reached out to me. When the Quality control manager (QCM) came the next day (Wednesday) and I told him about the vent, he lied trying to convince me it was just a mix up because they couldn't talk to me since I was not home during the install. It's 2025, we all have cell phones, I or my wife was very easily reachable. Issue 2: We were told our quote included 10 sheets of plywood for the roof, and any pieces of plywood which were not used would be refunded to us. When the QCM came, he again had no good answer for me, and once again lied saying they used all 10 sheets. Upon further review, it was clear the team did not use 10 sheets, and thus my project amendment shows the refund I should have gotten. It is ridiculous that without my careful inspection of the work done, both these issues would still be unresolved. Issue 3: Upon inspecting the roof, it was clear our ridge vent had double or triple layered shingles on the end of two of the sections. It is unsightly to see the uneven ridge line when looking at the house from the street. When the QCM arrived, he agreed it did not look good and that it should be fixed. He once again concocted a story about why the team had done the work that way, but not to worry because Monday morning he would have a crew out to install the bathroom vent and fix the ridge vent. Frustrated I would need to take another day to work at home, I agreed to have the team come over Monday to fix these two issues and hopefully finish the project. Issue 4: Later that day when the gutters were installed, they left debris all over the property. There were large chunks of metal gutters, copious amounts of paper and packaging, and several piles of nails all strewn about the exterior of the house. We have 1 year old who plays outside, and this complete lack of care by Power is unacceptable. As an added bonus, the gutter crew ran over and broke one of our Halloween decorations. We have been reimbursed for the decoration, but that is beside the point. Someone then came out two days later (Friday), to clean up the mess the gutter crew left. He confirmed I had an appointment Monday to fix the ridge vent and install the bathroom vent. To this day I am still finding debris from the gutter crew. Issue 5: Monday morning comes around and my appointment is 8am to 10am. 10am comes and goes and no one has showed up, nor have I gotten any notification from Power. I check the app throughout the day and I see the system moving my appointment window later and later, again without notifying my wife or I in any way. Finally, a crew shows up at 4:15. Not only is the crew inexcusably late, but they had no idea what work they were supposed to be doing. They had no idea about the ridge vent issue. I turned them away because we had to leave for an appointment with my son. I wasted a day working from home waiting for the crew with no communication from Power whatsoever. Issue 6: After calling Power to complain about the terrible service we've had, I'm told a manager will reach out to me. Someone from the office schedules me for Wednesday to get my issues fixed and says prior to that I will hear from management. I never receive any call from management. Issue 7: Wednesday comes and the crew shows up on time. They tell me the manager is part of the crew, that I shouldn't have expected a phone call because he was coming in person. This was never relayed to me prior. They install the bathroom vent just fine, but they tell me the ridge vent is perfect as is. They say the QCM has no idea what he's talking about, and the vent is supposed to have multiple layers on the end. How is it possible that a company that specializes in roofing can give me two completely opposite answers like this? No matter how you look at it, this is blatant incompetence from Power. To this day, I still do not know which Power employee was correct and if my roof is completed properly. Issue 8: The crew finished up their work, and I explain to the manager about the 10 sheets of plywood. Since he was in my attic installing the vent, he saw there was not 10 new pieces of plywood there. As he is processing the refund, he shows me the amount which is much lower than what the salesperson originally stated. We were told the plywood was at minimum $200 a sheet since we had thick plywood on our roof, yet our refund was just over $100 a sheet. The manager tells me that because we received discounts on the job, the discounts also applied to the wood. This is absolutely ridiculous, as the salesperson knew exactly what our discounts were and still quoted over $200 per sheet. Once again, Power cannot keep its story straight and we suffer for it. Issue 9: I refuse to sign any paperwork stating the job is complete until I get the opportunity to tell a Power employee about all that has gone on. We paid over $30K for this work and justifiably expected a high-quality service, but we didn't even get a minimally acceptable service. Once I finally connect with a Power manager, it is clear he does not care about the myriad issues we faced. He says how he was on vacation and how if he was around this would have never happened. It is clear all he cares about is getting me to sign off on the paperwork so he can put this behind him. The lack of empathy is startling, both on the phone and in texts afterwards. As a microcosm of just how terrible communication has been with Power, he proceeds to call me a few days later mistaking me for another customer. I made it very clear to the managers I spoke with and I will make it very clear here: I will never, ever recommend Power to anyone. When people ask about roofing or siding or any other business Power does, I will explicitly tell them to steer clear of Power and use someone else. I have given Power every opportunity to right their wrongs, and all I get are lies, excuses, and feigned empathy."

"The salesperson that sold us this job lied to us about our need and used scare tactics to make sure we immediately signed on before we had a chance to verify his claims about the damage to our home. Upon the team showing up to perform the install it was discovered that none of the damage the salesperson claimed was there actually was. While the team was on site performing the install they were extremely sloppy as far as debris and nail collection is concerned. I stepped on a nail that went through my shoe but luckily did not injure me while I was out with my dog on a side of my home that was completed the previous day. There should have been no nails. This was also promised during the sales pitch, the team was meant to sweep the area completely with magnets and visually and this was clearly either not done or was extremely sloppy. I visually found dozens of nails over the course of the install. I had to go out of my way to demand that unused materials were removed from my final bill before they were taken off and even then there were still 3 entire boxes of materials that power reclaimed but did not remove from my bill before collecting payment. The finished product at least looks nice, but I do not have confidence that everything has been correctly installed beneath the facade due to the sloppy work and lies we were fed during the process."

One area that I feel fell short of being satisfactory was in the clean up following completion of the roofing, gutters, downspouts, soffit and facia. I found many nails in the grass even after one worker came with a magnetic tool. I'm still finding small pieces of blue insulation, siding, and roofing debris. On the front lawn the workers put down clear plastic to collect work debris and left it there for several days during high heat and that action killed the grass. I did have an issue with the Roofing crew leaving the 40' fiberglass extension ladder at the job site for two months following completion.It took many communication efforts to get that issue resolved. Other than these events I was happy with the work performed by Power Home Remodeling."

The build quality ended up being just okay in the end. When they originally installed the soffits, they were hung too long and our front door wouldn’t open. They had to be reminded, twice, to fix the error properly. The work was not excellent but it was up to code and fixed the problem."

My parents, who are 88 and 83 years of age, and they were lied to by Power to get them to buy products that they didn't need. We asked Power to come and do an estimate for 5 windows upstairs. There were only two windows that really needed to be done, but we wanted the whole upstairs to match. Kevin got here around 5:00 pm and didn't leave until 10:30 pm. My anxiety was through the roof. He gave us the estimate for the 5 windows and pushed us to get all the windows in the home. He told us that there was leaking behind the windows and that there was rotten wood and mold all round the house under the gutters. He told my parents their house was inhabitable. We weren't told that the windows would have more glass pane than our previous windows, so are air conditioning units wouldn't fit. Now we have to go buy new air conditioning units. There were only two spots around the house that were rotten. The installers told us the wood was good, but they replaced it all to save face. They prayed on my parents, and I am not happy."

Also, I noticed a day or so afterward when the supervisor on the job put the lock on the door on the inside, the lock goes to the left to be locked and to the right to unlock, the plate has scratches, and I didn't check when he felt. This is a brand-new lock, and I could take a picture and send it."

The guy that came to measure and sell us the windows, told us that they would clean all of them once they were installed. They do not do that. I said something to the installers, and he informed me that they do not do that. They ended up cleaning a few of the windows, but not all of them that had handprints and glue on them. Either everyone knows that they clean the windows, or they do not clean the windows. Even with finance, I could not find the number to call and was told that within a week of the installation, someone would call me and I could pay off the loan without interest being added. When no one called me, I called them and was charged some interest. You just don't tell customers one thing and another happens, people do not like that. Some even find it upsetting."

Then when second guy came out, he said that the wood was good enough and if I wanted it changed then Id need to pay more. Not something that was previously discussed. The wood is warped. The casing around the window wasn't installed, don't understand why. And the final touch up work looks pretty bad. Finger smears every where, trash in the silicone. Wasn't impressed. On the door, as they were taking off the old door, they banged my ceiling, then installed the door with the wrong handles. I told both the estimators which handles I wanted and they didn't get it right. (I have the paperwork that says which handles they are supposed to be) they either dinged the door or something but they took some paint off on the front, and side of the door. Pretty noticeable spots. (have pictures). The door has a little trouble shutting. You have to forcefully shut the door for the upper lock to work properly. Honestly not impressed and as a guy that's worked in construction, I've personally done better then them. On top of all that, the crew was late. I was told they would arrive around 1ish, they arrived at 4. Even in the original time frame (1-3pm) the crew missed that."

I had to pay extra for them, so my price went up because they did not have a window. I signed for getting that window, so I would not recommend that, but everything else I would recommend."

"Our roofing project has been a nightmare from the start. The only bright spot was the salesman (Daiton) who was professional, efficient, and easy to deal with. After that, it went rapidly downhill. There was an issue with the dumpster (did not arrive before start of project, although I contacted Power about that fact the day before)... the crew arrived, did not tarp the pool (as I had requested, because it was right next to the garage which was also being done)... when they were done and the "quality assurance" guy arrived (Brian Friere) we informed him that the garage roof had not been done as it was written in our contract, and we were paying for - the complete re-deck, with exhaust and ventilation - all that was done was new plywood slapped on top of the old, and shingles - with ZERO ventilation system installed AT ALL (no ridge vent, nothing). Brian immediately made some phone calls, offered us $2500 off the total cost and promised us that someone would contact us regarding the fix. Next day, get a visit from Mike (supervisor) who glances around, says its an easy fix and says that $1500 off should be sufficient. Since then, he cancelled DAY OF the first scheduled fix (oops, sorry he forgot to schedule the crew).... re-schedules for the following week, I take another day off, and he cancels AGAIN the day before, oops, sorry can't do it. Yesterday he promises to come over after 5pm when we are both available, and CANCELS AGAIN AT 8PM. Now we have closely looked around and there are some TERRIBLE crappy work spots - area on the front of the house where the flashing is ON TOP of the gutter and the wood is exposed - there's a spot on the garage where the flashing looks like someone stepped on it - there's a broken shingle on the front of the house - and the clean up was awful, very half-assed and the amount of nails laying around was insane. I am currently awaiting ANOTHER call from "Mike the supervisor" to re-schedule another visit. To say I am angry and frustrated is an understatement. At this point, I have ZERO faith in the company's ability to remedy this shitty job - and I will be discussing payment, because I am not paying the original price when what I got was about 3/4 of the job done, and that wasn't done well. I absolutely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Power Home Remodeling for any home project."

"The install teams were professional and friendly. They confirmed all was done and working as a Pella window should. We have had issues with latches, The screws are stripped and that has not gone well. The service team did a nice job on the screws they found that were stripped. Each latch has four screws and while some were corrected there are still 18 latches that have one or more screws stripped. Also a window that needed to be replaced as part of the call will not align with the upper sash latch to close. This certainly is not what I expected from Pella windows. I have since called customer service Madeline and Matt who were both understanding of my issue and said they would send a follow up email to the manager in Philadelphia to call me to discuss. Unfortunately I still have not heard from anyone. Our window install (29) went well however the Service call has not. I am rapidly losing faith in Power and this should not be the way this project is remembered."

"We had our Windows and Doors done as the first project. That went smoothy and the contractors were professional and responsible. With that experience and a recent roof leak, we decided to do the roof, gutters, and facia. Those two projects alone were extremely unpleasant. Roof- trash left all over the place (bushes, yard, on the roof, and on the road), the roof leak was patched, but then they caused a leak on the front porch (not the initial leak), they destroyed the gutters and rain poured into our basement, the service rep on the phone told us not to worry as that wouldn't cause foundation damage. They didn't coordinate the dumpster properly. They filled the dumpster half full, dumpster was removed, and then they left a flex dumpster on the side of our house for several days. During the rainstorms the flex dumpster filled and then leaked into the basement. One gentlemen went between our neighbors houses to use the restroom after we told them they could use our bathrooms. I had to tell the contractors what they were there to do. Facia - tore off the gutters and facia, facia took them 3 days to complete, 3 workers showed up and then then 9 more people showed up, 3 people remained working while the other 9 had a picnic on the back porch, yard, and blocked several neighbors. We advised them not to do so, but they ignored us. Trash left everywhere, there was a child crawling on the ladders and running around the equipment. Times changed and no one told us or communicated this with us. Communication was horrible at best. They parked in front of driveways when there was enough street parking, they blocked people from accessing their homes. We found food garbage in our bushes. I had to tell the contractors what they were there to do. We had no gutters for 3 weeks and customer service told us not to worry with all the rain during that time because 3 weeks isn't enough time to do foundation damage. Gutters- They were extremely professional and nice to work with. They communicated everything to us and help us understand what they were doing. They also advised of the issues with the roof and facia related to the previous projects. When we talked to Power, they apologized and said they would fix it. This was just a patch job of apologies and there was no real effort and was more of a cash grab then performing an actual job task. When they came to resolve the issues, I had to consistently tell the contractors what they were there to accomplish. Why would the homeowner be conveying what the project is and where is the communication? When they sent "their best crew" to fix the issues, they left not fixing the new leak, cleaning up the garbage around the house, and debris left on the roof. This has left a really negative impression in such that we do not recommend Power for anything but Windows, Doors, and Gutters."

I was swindled into spending $30k to downgrade the quality of my house. There was supposed to be communication on the day of installation on whether the gutter guards could be saved. That did not happen. Almost every type of gutter guard available would violate your warranty. I feel like your warranty is worthless, because I can't safely install new gutter guards without violating it."
