“I like the service of Power Home and I would recommend them. We were a little uncomfortable with the sales model that wanted to get pressure of the customer to make a decision in one hour. The person gave us the estimation but wanted to give a decision in one minute. It is not a small amount of money, and sometimes people like to think about it to make a decision and how to pay. We asked to give us a couple of hours. I like the company, the project, and proposal. The other feedback is when the manager comes here the day of installation, I noticed the person noted positive feedback but when I wanted to share negative feedback he didn't take any notes. I am not sure why they would want to take negative feedback. They listened to only what they wanted to listen to. In the end, we like it because they have a very nice contractor. The installation was nice, clean, and fast!”

“There were two windows replaced that never fit. They were half-rounds. The gapping on each side was over 1.5 inch while at the top it was about 0.5 inch. The installers filled the gap with caulk. Aesthetically, this was completely unacceptable at the time of installation and it was pointed out to Power before the installation team left the job. Subsequently, I was told that the windows that Power offered would never fit and it should have been pointed out to us at the time that the Power team came to confirm the sizes of the windows (before installation). That never happened. Instead, we went over 5 months trying to find resolution and in the end it was never to my satisfaction (the gaps remain). I was assured a “solution” but in the end it’s the same - the gaps remain - and we have decided to not pursue the issue further with Power after 5 months. Installers came on 4 different occasions after the initial installation, which was very disruptive to my schedule. It’s a shame that I was sold on having two windows replaced that would never fit - I would have preferred to have left the old windows in place. We were not offered any financial compensation. It would be very hard for me to recommend Power to a friend given how dissatisfied I am with the result. I don’t fault the installers - they worked with what they were given, but I do find fault with the company in that they didn’t follow-through on their promise of complete satisfaction at the outset.”

Power left the crew looking like they did not listen, but the issue stemmed from the local office and communicating properly. Whether I paid $20 or $200,000 for work, I should get the best from that company.”

“The only thing I was disappointed in was the new location of the blinds in my window spaces. I realize I initialed a paper that said that the blinds would not fit back into the same spaces. However, understanding it, and seeing the results are two different things. In some respects, the blinds are not centered on the inside wall, which is not a very attractive look, and also having the blinds repositioned on the inside wall, allows for outside visual access to inside activities at night when the interior lights are on. Blinds are supposed to be installed within the window well/opening to keep this from happening. It almost makes the purchase of new blinds to cover more than just the entire opening necessary. And I don't quite know how I am going to handle that. I would make sure anyone (to whom I was recommending your service) knew exactly what happens in this particular situation.”

There were even nails left”

“Wrong molding was installed around the windows with no stools (what we paid for). The contractors didn’t even know they were redoing the inside molding so they had to go buy it (poor communication). When the quality assurance manager came out to check he said we would have a return visit on a certain date and to call that morning to confirm the time. That date came and no one showed up. I called the number on the card and the rep on the phone said there were no notes on the account for a return visit. I assume the quality assurance rep was too distracted trying to sell us new siding that he forgot to finalize the notes to fix the work that was already done incorrectly.”

The installers broken the latch on the door and told me I had to call the office on Monday. My door leaked the first time it rained. The main manager that oversees everyone does not think compensating me as a customer is the way to do business. He is so disrespectful!”
