I strongly regret hiring Power Home Remodeling. In May of last year, I hired Power to install new siding, fascia, and gutters on my home. Since then, I have already had to make THREE repair calls regarding their work. What makes this even worse is the ridiculous amount of time it takes to get warranty repairs completed. My previous repair requests were extended out for long periods, and now I am being told that my current repair cannot be completed until NOVEMBER 25. Waiting months for a company to repair work that is barely over a year old is completely unacceptable. Power heavily promotes its lifetime warranty as a major reason to do business with them. But what good is a “lifetime warranty” if customers have to wait six months or longer to actually get something repaired? I was also told that I could hire someone else to make the repair, submit the bill to Power, and have their team determine whether I could be reimbursed. However, there is NO GUARANTEE that I will actually receive reimbursement. Why should I have to pay another contractor out of my own pocket to repair work that should be covered under the warranty and then HOPE Power decides to reimburse me? The difference in workmanship has been eye-opening. I recently hired ANOTHER contractor to install new siding on my garage, and I have not had any problems with that contractor’s work. Meanwhile, the much more expensive work I purchased from Power has resulted in repeated repair calls. Based on my experience, I do not believe the price Power charges reflects the quality of the workmanship or the warranty service I have received. Consumers deserve to know what can happen AFTER the sale, when the contract has been signed and the company has been paid. I am documenting my repair requests, communications, photographs, and warranty information, and I intend to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate consumer protection and regulatory agencies. I believe Power’s warranty practices, repair response times, pricing, and the quality of the work I received deserve serious scrutiny. A lifetime warranty doesn’t mean much to me if I have to spend months fighting and waiting just to get the company to repair its own work. I would NOT recommend Power Home Remodeling based on my experience. If you are considering this company, do your research, read the warranty carefully, ask IN WRITING how long warranty repairs typically take, and understand exactly what happens if their work needs to be repaired after installation.

They are quick to install to get your money but when it comes to repairs it takes forever. I’ve had my gutters repaired about 5 or 6 times already and currently have exposed roof board from sloppy flashing. This most current repair I’m waiting for has been rescheduled about 6-8 times and I have to be the one to initiate the reschedule. The crew just doesn’t show up EVERY SINGLE TIME. Then they never reschedule it. Yes, they have a good warranty and it’s a good thing they do because YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT. I would love it if the Chicago office install manager could give me a call directly. I’ve left multiple negative reviews on my surveys. So I know you can find my info pretty easy and not to mention long paper trail from your customer service representatives. You can also match these photos to project pulse. DO BETTER. Calling these people seems to be my part time job. How about you call me to schedule this.

From start to finish, our experience with Power Home Remodeling was outstanding. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, every step of the process reflected professionalism, transparency, and genuine care for the customer. Our salesperson, Kyle, was exceptional. He took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and made us feel completely confident in our decision to purchase six new windows and a sliding patio door. His professionalism and product knowledge truly set the tone for a positive experience. The installation team—three courteous and skilled gentlemen—worked efficiently, and maintained a clean workspace throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and respect for our home were greatly appreciated. We were also reassured to have Josh, the quality assurance manager, come by after installation to inspect the work. They walked us through the operation of the windows and screens, checked the insulation, and even examined the underside of our roof to ensure everything met the company’s high standards. This extra level of follow-up demonstrated Power’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. To anyone reading the lower-rated reviews, I encourage you to look at the full picture. Power Home Remodeling stands behind their products and workmanship, and our experience confirms that they are a company you can trust. Trust the process—Power will truly make your house feel more like a home.

My husband has heard of the company before because he works for the village and after they knocked on my door, we decided to get an estimate. Everything that Sarah showed us looked really nice and we felt that they would do a good job. The crew showed up on time and were very polite and respectful. They cleaned up everything and did a fantastic job. We would recommend. We love our windows and doors.
