We were genuinely impressed with Power Home Remodeling from start to finish. Every interaction was professional, courteous, and easy. When Kendall came out for our initial estimate, I especially appreciated that there was zero pressure. Replacing 13 windows is a major investment, and he took the time to walk us through every detail—how the windows are installed, functioned, what to expect, and how the long‑term value would pay off. He even encouraged us to get additional estimates. His straightforward approach felt honest and trustworthy. That integrity is ultimately why we chose Power Home Remodeling for this project. On installation day, the crew—Kyle, Zack, and Austin—arrived right on time and immediately put us at ease. They were conscientious, personable, and clearly took pride in their work. They chatted with us throughout the day, making it feel less like strangers in our home and more like friends. They were incredibly considerate of our many pets and did everything they could to minimize disruption to them. When the job was complete, they walked us through the window functions, warranty details, and did a full inspection with us. They left our home neat and tidy without a trace that anyone had been there working. We were so pleased with the entire experience that we scheduled another project with the company before they even left. We will be recommending them for window replacements for many years to come.

Edited to add: I lowered my review (probably at least a 3.5 star but that’s not an option)… their follow up since putting in the windows and door has been not as good. They said there was two screens that came defective and they would replace for us and they broke our doorbell which they said they would fix. No one reached out but since they knew about it, we waited. When no one got back with us even after our QA visit We reached out to them and they opened a ticket and we’ve heard nothing back. The other thing they bothered me is when they were doing the quality assurance visit it felt like a fear tactic to have us spend 3x the amount of money on all new siding or the windows “warranty” might not be valid or we have issues. Don’t offer a warranty then tell me if I don’t get new $65,000 siding it might be void. Power came to our door and while we weren’t looking to do windows and our door at the time their sales pitch for the quality we were offered made it too hard to pass up. The quality of the windows and the service we received were worth doing the project early. They are likely not the cheapest option. But the quality is amazing. They did our front door as well which is Amazing!!! It’s finally sealed properly!

Excellent experience from start to finish. The crew was professional, on time, and the new windows look amazing. Installation was clean and high quality, and they made sure everything was perfect before leaving. Huge difference in the look and efficiency of our home. Highly recommend!

I had new windows installed today. The customer service was exceptional everything was communicated to me in advance. The entire team was friendly and personable. They did everything they said they were going to do in a very timely manner. I was very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Power Home.

Choosing Power was a great decision for replacing my windows! From beginning to end the process was very easy. They were also able to replace the trim and gutters around the house ! Loved every part of this experience!!! Totally recommend.

"Everyone claims to offer the best products and service. While your salesperson was effective at closing the deal, what followed was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. During a period when I was balancing work responsibilities and a death in my family, I was repeatedly contacted and pressured to schedule an installation date. The representative’s aggressive tactics—including stating that I would be charged 20% of the total cost if I did not immediately schedule—were unnecessary and felt threatening. That level of pressure was completely inappropriate given the circumstances. The installation itself was routine; however, one of the windows was scratched. The installer informed me that your team would be reaching out to replace it. I hope that the urgency shown in pressuring me to schedule will be matched in promptly correcting this issue. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Power Home Remodeling and will be sharing my experience publicly."

We missed work and lost sleep over it and so did our children. It was very unprofessional. Then in the light of the next day the job was very sloppy. On a positive note, we did have a project manager come by and he agreed to fix the mess and all the mistakes made by the previous installer. All in all we missed several days of work, but thankfully the job is done."

"I am likely to recommend them to a friend, but I do have a few issues with the caulking. In one too, some of the caulking on half of the window is different from the other side. One side is clear and the other side is white. I could clearly see the difference. On the same window, they didn't do very good on the trim part because instead of being nice and straight, the fuzzy part, I guess the weather seal, is sticking out at the top. The bottom is all the way in. They didn't mess up too much, but it looks horrible and I didn't notice the little things. As I was putting the blinds back up, that's when I noticed one window's trimming on the inside and it looks like air is getting through, which I'm not happy about. Another window has messed up caulking on the bottom part. They pushed it in because it was sticking out and they redid the caulk, but they left all the excess on the window. It doesn't look professional. I'll be watching closely for the ones on top. They were doing good work; they were non-stop. Maybe they were getting tired, I think, and that's when they messed up and it was almost about to rain and they probably just wanted to leave. Those windows were the last two they worked on."

"I was pretty happy with the work overall. They were supposed to follow through with a few punch list things and they have not gotten back to us. It has been crickets since they left. They basically stand over you and say you need to sign these forms over the phone so they can leave. We looked around afterwards and noticed some things that needed to be done. We talked to the quality assurance guy and he said he would call the foreman for the siding and they will get back with you. and we have not heard anything last week or the end of the week before that. There is a screen that needs to be replaced and I have not heard anything about that. There is something with the door that is not secure to my wife's satisfaction. We have not heard from them. There are some things that need to be done on the punch list and we have not heard from them. Once they made us sign the emails and stuff they disappeared, so that is why we are hesitant to rate them any higher."

On the other hand I would suggest my friends avoid opening their door to the sales people who are very persistent, offering deal after deal that have to be consumated that day rather than giving people the chance to at least sleep on it. This persistance continued on the day of installation when the person coming to check on the work hung around for hours and continued with efforts to get me to commit to purchasing more windows. It was all professional but over time became irritating, especially since new windows weren't really in my plans. The installers were professional, knew what they were doing, and I'm not sure they ever took a break! I'm confident of the quality of the windows and sliding door that I did have installed."

"We went with power because in the product pitch they said very heavily that they would be providing us with a high end roof, a completely new roof deck and high quality customer service for many years to come. We thought the new deck justified the very high cost and were quoted that our roof was 1900 Sq Ft. Later on at the end of the job we walked upstairs and were shocked to find that they did not provide us with a new deck but laid the new plywood over the old, damaged, moldy and rotted barn board without telling us that they were making that change. We submitted photo's to the roofing team in Boston about this and never heard anything back. Additionally they did not cut a consistent opening for the ridge vent but seemed to just lay it on top of what was already there, defeating the purpose of the venting. Siding was damaged, many nails were left all around the job site some sticking straight up (they told us the crew would go around the site with a magnet after to catch these but they were everywhere even around where we park our car). However, the worst aspect has been that Allstate is working with us on a claim for our roof that was damaged due to the ice dams from the recent storms and no one from Power will get back to us with the information they are asking for (an updated quote to account for Power overcharging us by hundreds of Sq Ft and an itemized invoice). Allstate needs these things to process our claim and no one will get back to us. If we could redo it we would not go with Power and would actively warn people away from this company, they are erring on the side of 22 to 25% waste in square footage, much higher than GAFs (their shingle companies) recommendation of 12%. Make sure to double check the square footage Power is recommending to you and the size of your roof, they will pitch it is as over ordering as a good thing so that the crew will have more than what they need, but in reality they are over ordering by double, accounting for an accurate 12% waste and another 12% in extra square footage that isn't needed so they can charge you for it. If you are planning on filing an insurance claim very much recommend you do not go with them because the paperwork they will supply you with in their Project Pulse app will not be enough for what your insurance will request."

Next, if you call, then leave a message / voice mail. DO NOT JUST HANG UP ?!? 90% of all calls these days to a cell phone, at least to me, are purely spam / false / telemarketers. Even knowing the area code from POWER, a smart phone will call a 'potential spam' when it's questionable. Finally, tone down the sales rhetoric. You have a good product and the crews work hard, but if the 'client' is already sick before the service begins, then what's the point?"

"My experience with PHR was wonderful. The time that Art spent with me during the first visit to assess the condition of my windows and to explain in detail the findings, both good and bad, was an education in itself. As it turned out, only my 6 transom windows had significant moisture between the walls, causing the need for replacements. The possible cause of the moisture was from improperly installed solar screens that blocked the weep holes in the frames so that the water during rains could not drain out. A corollary to the cause of moisture between the walls was the possibility of water from the roof leaking between the walls. Art spent a good deal of time in the attic, searching for damp places (of which there were none) and photographing (1) areas of temperature variation to identify hot spots and (2) evidence of future problems with some of the beams (not an immediate concern). Since I was interested in radiant barriers, Art thoroughly explained the pros and cons of the different kinds. In the end, I had them to install that as well."

"Well where do I start. 1.) we have court date with you guys for not having the proper permits on time. 2.) our appointments got moved up in the middle of a snow and major cold front so there wasn’t any proper cleaning. We pick up close to 50/75 nails/ debris left over. 3.) our old gutter pieces were just thrown in our yard and not the garbage. 4.) only your inspector came to up sale us on the garage. I say that because your workers miss to cap a window on my garage that only got uncovered because I caught it. 5.) your vice president MIKE SMITH compensation was less than the total amount of money lost for my wife to take the day off unpaid. So we get to spend money and miss overtime to go to court for mistakes. If that’s how he does business I rather tell my friends and family go elsewhere. Because the word and experience of this place is shit 6.) terrible communication about when the crews were and weren’t gonna come out. This was during the cold front that rushed to do during. 7.) the trim on the walkway between the house and garage is terrible"

Additionally, crews speak very little if any English which makes it difficult to express any concerns I have while the work is being done."

She was very pleasant and very nice, but the amount of time it took could be off-putting for some people. I am retired, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The process was great. I didn't want to do it in the winter, but I decided to go with you because it looked like a good product, and I needed a door. She was pleasant and excellent at doing her job. It took like five hours. For most people who are working and have busy lives, that would be very off-putting. I understand that it is their job and that's what they do. She did her job and got me to buy the product. You have a high volume of sales in this area, so obviously someone is doing something right."

Also when we ordered our windows, we ordered full screens. But I guess half screens were put into the system. The project manager said he could fix that. We had to install the half screens and we've been told the full screens were ordered and will be treated like a service call. But there is no way to track that the screens were ordered or when they will be replaced. So we paid more than we were supposed to for a partially wrong product and we don't know when any of it will be fixed."
