“Quality of windows and doors are fantastic. Super impressed with work crew and installation. 15 windows, 3 slider doors, three hinged doors and a French door. The windows and sliders were all removed and installed efficiently by a crew of 8 men all in one day. Completed in 7 hours. Doors installed on a separate day by a crew of 3 in 5 hours. Very clean installation and no mess. Only had a few touch up paint spots which was much less than I expected. Windows are doing the job of stopping heat from direct sunlight. Very pleased. HVAC is hardly running because home stays at a moderate temperature.”

“The overall experience as a whole was good. Speaking with the same person each time you contacted Power Home would provide consistency with the information. I understand a national company makes that a bit problematic but having one contact person would be beneficial. My main objection was there was no itemized listing of the cost. There was an itemized listing of each window and its respective measurement and type; BUT no itemized cost per window. That was almost a deal breaker. Everything was a grand total. When making this size of an investment the consumer wants the cost broken down. When buying a house or a car you receive an itemized breakdown of each cost. One could wonder what are you trying to hide by not showing the itemized cost. Each time I had a question about a specific window cost, they would consult their laptop/iPad and come up with another Grand Total in place of the specific question I was asking. Having an itemized estimate would allow me the homeowner to make a more informed decision.”

The front doorbell wires don't pass through the siding, but around it via the channel and the downspout drips at a joint. Not heard anything about them and the guys who installed my new door damaged the trim to my siding and left screws hanging. They also placed my screen door along my garage on a very windy day which could have caused it to be damaged and they also threw the screws to my screen door in my flower bed. Had to sift through dirt to find them all. Just wanted someone to contact me to fix the issues and have not heard anything from anyone about my complaint.”
