“The contractors doing the work were great and very respectful. Unfortunately, communication about project updates and issues was very difficult. When we met the "QA Guy" at the end, he was less than helpful and was more interested in selling more of their services to me. Everything was a 4 before that experience.”

“The installation took more than 8 hours for 2 sliding glass doors. They did not ensure the doorway was covered while grinding concrete and filled the house with concrete dust. There work was sloppy when they left.”

“Biggest areas of concern are very pushy sales tactics and slow response times to concerns (like missing curtain rod end piece which still hasn't been resolved and final inspection scheduling) and bad financing options with very high rates. What we liked is that they cared to make sure that the windows matched and the quality of the product seems good so far, and the people, while pushy, were kind and helpful.”

“We bought this house almost 2 years. The house still had the original windows that were 40 years old. We knew we had to replace them, so at one point we used a different company and replaced 6 windows with them. That company was very costly, but we used them because we liked that they used their one people for the work. Unfortunately, we also needed our front and back doors replaced. The back door, especially because the threshold was rotted. We were having trouble finding a company that would do all the work. The well known companies we spoke with would either do one or the other, but not both, which would leave us looking for another company to do that work not done. Then, one day, we had a sales person come to our door that was from Power Home Remodeling. We were home, so we met with him. We had never heard of Power before. The sales representative said that they could do both the door and the threshold at the same time. We asked our next door neighbor if he had heard of Power before, and he said yes, I have heard of many people using them and being very satisfied with the work. Originally, we were just looking at the door being replaced, but they were able to give us an estimate for the rest of the windows as well. The estimate for the windows was half of what the other company was going to charge us. Needless to say, Power got the job done, in inclement weather, and we are very happy.”

“Fast installation friendly staff”

“I would recommend power for windows and roofing when it comes to those two things they knocked it out of the park. They fell way short when it came to the siding crew , it was poorly done with a long list of issues. Also no one from powers main office really seems to care for the money im spending.”

“Every single window that we had installed had multiple installation issues (too tightly shimmed, not plum, bad caulking, wrong screws, poorly installed int vinyl trim, chunks of surrounding drywall removed during process, incorrectly installed ext vinyl trim that prevented screen installation, irreparable damage to marble window sill, etc.) and/or issues with the window itself, namely, over spray. The installation team did not do a final walk through with us, which is not unsurprising given that they were doing drugs in our driveway, telling us about all their many felony convictions, and urinating in our bathroom without closing the door. I realize this sounds hyperbolic. I promise, it's not. Therefore, we had to schedule the quality inspection separately to get someone to look at the issues. That person, an installation manager, said we had to sign off on the work, saying it was completed to our satisfaction, before any action could be taken to rectify the issues. We did so, despite having misgivings and clearly voicing that we were unsatisfied with the work and did not consider the installation process to be complete. Before any installation issues were fixed, we started getting calls from the financing company, requesting payment. It was clear Power Home had not apprised them of the situation. We did so, and they worked on their end to communicate with Power Home our dissatisfaction. This required a lot of back and forth and time spent communicating with both companies. Finally, a month later, we got a phone call late in the evening from Power Home. The installation crew that was supposed to be coming first thing tomorrow morning can't come because not all the replacement window frames are ready. We can understand that parts can get delayed, but at that point, we had already spent time to prepare our house for the installation team, and it was too late for my husband to cancel his request to be off work for the day. How hard would it have been to give us a bit more notice that 12hrs? Now it's nearly 2 months since our initial installation date and our windows are still not installed properly, we've wasted time and energy and have had actual damage done to our house that the company refuses to address, and Power Home acts as though we have no cause to be unsatisfied with our experience with them.”

“I was not given a detailed invoice nor was I given means of contacting the sales person. I tried for several days to contact someone to say I had changed my mind about what I was going to do. I am not going to buy the solar and when I realized how much I was being charged for the roof I am extremely upset. I will cancel the roof unless we can get a better price. I intend to go forward with the windows but have severe reservations about your business practices and pricing.”
