“I had a medical situation in the family. My sister was in the hospital. She was supposed to come here after surgery and the weather was hot. They went above and beyond. They got me in and came the next day even though they were booked up. Larry came out and did it himself so that it could get done.”

“Blue Frost is one of better companies out there. We had a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier installed and we are completely satisfied. I had to call once because I was having problems with the new air conditioner. They came out found the problem and solved it with no excuses. We now have them service the units twice a year. They are prompt, clean, polite and professional.”

“This was the first visit to our house by Blue Frost. Our previous HVAC service of 15 plus years went out of business, so I was looking for a new company to trust with our heating and air needs. The air conditioning clean and check service went well for a reasonable price. However, I was surprised with a $1,700 quote to add a liner to our chimney to vent our hot water heater. I did not ask for them to look at the venting or prepare a quote for it, but he did so because the vent pipe was slowly rusting from moisture build up on a bend area near the hot water heater and also where it exited at the chimney. I called a chimney professional within the next week and he advised not to add a liner to the already existing clay liner due to an extreme bend in the chimney. He quoted $750 if he was going to do it, but said the work may or may not help the existing venting and could entail a major amount of work to the chimney once it was opened up. He said to leave it alone and install a monoxide detector in the crawl to monitor any changes and to buy a different type of water heater when this one needs replacement. He seemed to have extensive knowledge and experience on the subject. Since our current venting has been set up this way for 10 years now with zero issues I felt I should trust his judgement. May not be using Blue Frost in the future because I feel uneasy about being handed a quote that was over double the price for the same work quoted from the chimney professional and may or may not have solved anything in the process.”

The only negative that we had is that we had two free checkups, and we realized it in January, but they could not do it on the air conditioning before the year was up. That was probably as much our fault as theirs, but it didn't feel good.”

“We were not there. Our house was on the market, and they let themselves in with the code or our neighbor went over there. They did some maintenance on the furnace. I would grade them an A. They diagnosed the problem and got it fixed the same day. They came a couple of hours later than they were supposed to, but they let me know, so that was fine. They didn't throw away the filter, but my neighbor went over and threw it out.”

“They were great. They are very reliable. We had them here at our house. it was just a routine cleaning of the furnace. They were great. my husband owns a data center. All that is in there is wiring and bandwidth companies. It's really just a bunch of huge air conditioning units. You will freeze in there, and there are no bathrooms. My husband had them out there because they did a great job here. They are very thorough. I would grade them an A.”

“Overall they have been very helpful and very professional. I think they are good. The very last call was just for regular maintenance cleaning. But the call before that one, my furnace stopped working. It was a safety switch that turned off, because the vent outside had frosted up. He was helpful, because he showed me how to reset the safety switch if it happened again. And it did happen again, so it saved another call coming out. And he also suggested what I might do to fix it, so I was very appreciative of that. I would grade them an A.”

“They were OK. The guy who came here was OK. For some reason, he didn't do much. I think the job that I was looking for, he said, 'We don't do this part.' It was OK, but he didn't do anything. He said, 'We don't do this kind of job.' I wanted him to look at, not part of the furnace itself, but the tubing and the ducts. He did as much as he could, and then he said, 'That's all that I can do for this job.' So he was OK. I wouldn't say he's excellent, because he didn't do the specific that in general. I'd say they deserve a good grade, like B. Everything was OK, not excellent. I have no opinion about recommending them.”
