“Tingley Electric is the very best! Many of their electricians have been working with the company for years... which says a lot in itself! They do great work and always give useful and excellent advice. Very importantly, they come out to appointments punctually. They respect your home, wear the covers over their shoes whenever the weather dictates, and always leave the work spaces clean and tidy. We wouldn't use any other company!”

They reworked our electrical panel and helped get us set up for a generator, and then installed beautiful new overhead LED spots that made all the difference in our living room. When we lost power after a major winter storm for over a week and couldn't get a response from the electric company, they were an invaluable resource in getting the situation sorted out, with a high level of personal care and commitment. “The first time I ever used them was when I lost heat on one of the coldest days of the year. It was due to a malfunctioning thermostat and I could not find ANYBODY who would come and help me, EXCEPT for Tingley. The owner came to my house in the evening (on his way home from work) and installed a new thermostat and didn't charge me extra. I thought this was way above and beyond as I had never used them before, so he did not know me at all and I am sure that he would have preferred to already be at home rather than still working into the evening. I said that I would use them from then on for my electrical needs and have done so and I have been very happy with them since.”

“I would not recommend this company because they charge for quotes. They said a safety check would be done as part of that quote but it was not done and I received no report of a safety check. Additionally they really did not assess the electrical needs (for example, how much usage a given room was going to need), they just wanted to know how many plugs or lights we wanted.”
