Solid Product, But Be Aware of the Warranty Fine Print on Maintenance I generally love the Gutter Helmet product; it works as advertised to keep major debris out, and the overall performance is solid. However, homeowners need to know about a specific limitation in their warranty policy regarding routine maintenance. This house originally belonged to my father, but after he passed away, my mom became the sole owner. I handle all the home logistics for her and have been the direct point of contact dealing with Gutter Helmet. Based on my understanding of the warranty, I believed the system was essentially maintenance-free and that Gutter Helmet would cover any clogs or issues short of natural disasters ("acts of God"). The issue came when pollen accumulated right along the curved edge of the helmet. That buildup actually blocked the water, preventing it from flowing into the gutter as intended and causing it to run straight off the edge of the house instead. That water runoff was the exact reason I had to call Gutter Helmet out to take a look. It turns out pollen buildup is not covered under the warranty. Gutter Helmet charged me $185 for the service call to clean the pollen off the helmet edge. The product works, but read the warranty closely: surface maintenance, like cleaning off pollen, is on you, and you will pay out of pocket if they send someone out to scrub it.

Came in to give an estimate for a fixed retractable awning the day after I first called. Gave me a detailed presentation of the materials they use, and a price for the job immediately following. I gave a deposit, and they gave me a close timeline for production and installation. Quick and easy scheduling for the install. Vendor called with adequate frequency to advise of progress all along. Not cheap, but fair pricing. Very happy with the results.

The entire process was a snap. Brian, with sales, was very informative and patient with me while I deliberated between 8-9 awning color samples. And the installation guys were super friendly and got awning up in less than 90mins. Very pleased with the entire experience!
