“The salesman was very knowledgeable, and the workers were just fantastic—they were very conscientious. They kept me apprised of their progress and what they were going to do, and they made sure it met with my satisfaction before they did it. They cleaned up after themselves. They just seemed to be a very professional crew of guys. The gutters were on the whole house. We have a ranch, so it was a lot of linear footage, and it took them about a day to do. We have ten oak trees on our property, and we have to get up on the roof twice a year to clean out the gutters. We've tried the little covers you can buy at home improvement stores, and nothing worked. We had a storm last July, and a tree came down. Part of the damage to our house was a bent gutter. The insurance company gave us a certain amount of money to go toward fixing the gutters, the siding, and the roof. We got the best of everything, and paid the difference out of our own pocket. It was a lot of stuff we had talked for years about doing. The salesman that gave us a quote on the gutters also gave us a quote on the windows. We have since had the windows done, and they're fantastic, too. I just cannot praise LeafGuard enough. I'm very satisfied. They have a fantastic warranty with a high-quality product and high-quality people.”

“We've had LeafGuard gutters on the house for 13 years now. I'm getting up in years, and I cannot climb the ladder all the time to clean the gutters on the garage, so I decided to put them on the garage. We have one spot where it runs down the asphalt driveway to the other garage, and it gets to be very treacherous in the winter. They said they could work up one to put on there, so we had them do that. I'm very glad we did it because of the storms we've just had here for the last month. The gutters have held up. I had them check the gutters on the house to make sure, and they were perfectly clear. The storms were coming so hard that they weren't taking them—it was puddling on the bottom, and I didn't know that was the cause of it. I thought it might be leaking, but they just said it was because the storm was too heavy. I told them there was no rush on it, and they worked it in because we are far from them. They're down further south of Chicago, and it would be easier for Wisconsin contractors to come to us, but they cannot cross the border. We initially looked at them we went to a Wisconsin state fair—we filled out a form there, and they forwarded it to the rep down here. I believe his name is Ryan Grace. He was fantastic when he came up here, and I told him there was no hurry on it. Then he called and said he had an appointment up here, and it worked into our schedule. Then we had nothing but rainstorms, rainstorms, rainstorms. He wasn't even here half a day, and it was completely done. Then we had a follow-up manager checking on all the work. I have had nothing but excellent service from LeafGuard all the way through. I'm really very, very happy with what I've had done.”

“Leafguard's product is pretty good, and the installation was pretty good. They were early because the first job was canceled due to a problem. I only had a small problem—we had some bees in my old gutters, and one of the workmen was highly allergic to bee stings. They got some bug spray, and because the shingles on my roof are off-white, it left a stain on the shingles. It took me several tries with bleach and everything else to get rid of it. They didn't intend it to happen; it just happened. They didn't notice that there was a stain because of the spray, but I managed to get it off, and everything went off well. The sales manager was great. I found the salesman's quote was quite ridiculous—too high for what the gutters are worth—but the sales manager reviewed it, and he got the price down to what I thought was acceptable. Their financing is still in the dark ages. They send out a payment book, and there's no way to do it electronically—like how you pay your bills now online. Their financing needs to be brought up to date, and I told the manager that. He said I wasn't the first customer to complain about having to mail in their payment to this bank out in Nevada. They've got this construction bank out in Nevada, and they're in the Dark Ages.”

I have to admit that he was a very good salesman—he didn't pressure us. The two gentlemen that put these rain gutters up were just very, very good. There were no questions about what they were doing. It was drizzling a little, and they even worked through that. They were very polite when we pulled up, and they asked us if we'd check out the work. We looked at it, and it all turned out good. From our experience with LeafGuard, I would recommend them to anybody that wants a really good set of rain gutters. I think it was the best thing we ever did to the house for improvement.”

Whatever he did, everything's working now. We had big rains over the last couple of days, and everything was fine.”
