“They do an excellent job. I liked the time they took. The owner, Jim, takes a lot of time trying to make sure you have what you need and you're happy with what you get. It was a very good experience. He was easy to work with. They did the foyer and powder room for me. There was one negative thing, but that was someone who worked there, I had a little issue with. But as far as Kitchen Village itself, and Jim, go, I would give them a pretty high score. I would definitely refer them out to people, but there were some things that weren't quite up to snuff, but Jim was great, the products were great.”

“They are fabulous—love them. I liked them because they were fabulous. Everyone in that firm was just wonderful. My designer, Carol, is just awesome. From day one. We gutted our home and moved out for them to do it, and we just absolutely love it, everybody loves it. We walk in everyday and thank the Lord for a such a beautiful job well done. I would grade them with an A+.”

“It was a pretty difficult job, in terms of a limited area to work in; they had to do a lot of thinking and maneuvering to get it done, and they did an excellent job. They did a laundry room remodel for me. I would grade the experience with an A+.”

“They were trustworthy. Their prices are fair. They're honest. They clean up well, and they let you know what's going on with the construction as things go by. The value of the products is superior. They've done a kitchen and a bathroom for us. I'd give them an A+.”

“They did master bath remodel. We were promised that it would be finished in two weeks, we thought three weeks. And it took five weeks and then so many things went wrong. Including the floor because it was a different color completely. And a bunch of other things, it was a nightmare. I would grade them a C-. If you knew the whole story you would be shocked. They used our bedroom to store all their stuff, I would say they're the worst because the bedroom was so bad. I would not recommend them; not at all.”

“They’ve done a very nice job. They did work in two different bathrooms for us, redid an entire shower portion of a bathroom, and then also redid a bathroom in our entertainment level of the home where they put in a complete new shower area and a new floor and did some fine-tuning, re-piped, and did a lot of different things. Number one, their workers are excellent. They’re polite. They’re very customer savvy if you will. The other thing that we really liked about a couple of things, they put down a runner throughout the construction area so they weren’t walking on the actual floor surfaces of the house. My home is full of hardwood, and they put down an item where everything was totally protected. It stuck to the floor so it was kind of neat because it didn’t slip and slide. It was very good. They get an A+.”

“A few years ago, they actually did our kitchen, and then more recently, we did some built-ins in our family room. We've turned it into kind of a multipurpose room, so it does everything. Jim, who is one of their main designers, is very knowledgeable, understands what's possible and what's not, and gives some great ideas. Overall, they just did great work for us. I would say they get an A+.”

“We had new countertops put in the kitchen. They are in our area. We decided to get an estimate from them. We were just so happy with the way they handled everything that we decided to go with them. They're an A. They were very knowledgeable, and they were extremely good at taking care of things that had to be taken care of. I'm very happy with all of their work and the company itself.”

“I had no problems with them, and they did a fine job. They did a fine job. All their craftsmen were nice. I had no problems. That was a small bathroom. I provided all the material; they just provided their labor, and everything worked out fine. They were low with their price. I went to several other companies. I liked the owner—we hit it off, and that was it. I would say they’re an A.”

“We had a wonderful experience. They were very responsive to all of our interests, and they were very forthcoming with problem resolution. If we started something in the design and we needed change, there was something that wasn't quite working in the room, they accommodated that, and they were just very great to work with. They remodeled a master bath. We might have looked at BPR too. We'd give them an A+.”

“They remodeled my kitchen. It was a complete gut job. We also knocked down a wall between the kitchen and the living and dining room. They were very timely, and their work was excellent. Fourteen years ago, they did a bathroom for us. We chose them to do the kitchen job because they did a good job on our bathroom years ago.”

“We're very happy with Kitchen Village. Our kitchen is so small, but the designer had all kinds of really neat ideas to squeeze a little more storage space out of a room that was pretty much impossible. She did several really creative things to give us a little bit more shelf space. We have already recommended them. I would give them an A without question.”

“It wasn't the best experience but it was OK. It was a little difficult. I would say there wasn't an outreach to help take my order. It was a smaller order. I was using all their services. I just needed to order a couple pieces. I knew exactly what I wanted and it took a little bit of time and effort to cross that bridge. It was like, I don't even know if we want to take your order kind of thing. Once it got past that - I was just adding a few cabinets. The second thing was I documented exactly what I wanted. The order was placed and when I got the order I had a couple questions. The wrong stuff was ordered. We were able to fix it in time but I thought my written documentation of what was being ordered was pretty clear. But a copy of what was ordered wasn't ordered so I questioned it and good thing I did because it would have been a couple hundred dollars of change. I had to step in myself and fix some of the details of what went wrong. That was the first time I'd used Kitchen Village. I'd give them a B-.”

“We’ve worked with Kitchen Village twice, and it’s been a fantastic experience. They did a total remodel of our kitchen when we first bought the house 19 years ago, and when we decided to remodel again this year, we called them back out. Their work is phenomenal. We love them. They’re great and easy to work with. We’re totally in love with what they did. There’s no grade high enough for them. They deserve an A++.”

“They redid our main bath completely down to the studs, and I feel very good about what they've done. The quality of the workmanship and the cooperation between the staff and the contractors they had doing the work were exceptional. We had no issues at any point, and they were always willing to listen, talk, and make suggestions. They've been in the neighborhood forever, and we really liked what we saw from day one. They would definitely be an A+—there's no question about it.”

“Kitchen Village might have done re-grouting and such of some tile behind the sink. It was fine at the time. However it has deteriorated so I don't know if that's roaring feedback on their behalf. I guess the work at the time was fine but it hasn't held up. I would say the quality of the work or the advice that I was given that it would sustain itself has not so I cannot say it was a positive. I never called them back about it. I would give them a D.”

“They did our bathroom, and the timing of their work was excellent because we were trying to accommodate my elderly father coming home from the hospital, and they were able to put in a walk-in shower bathroom in good time and with quality work. I heard about the company from Best Pick Reports. I'd like to give them a B—B+ is good. I had to correct a couple of things with the tile guy. The tile wasn't flowing correctly. That was it. I had to bring certain things to their attention, that's all.”

“I'd had other work done by them before, and I appreciated just being able to walk into the facility and pick out what I needed. Barbara, who I worked with, was great. We had one issue, which she took care of very promptly. It was just, all in all, a very good experience. They remodeled a bathroom—a complete remodel—and I haven't had to call them back pertaining to anything since then. I would give them an A+.”

“The thing I liked most was the design person. Her name was Barbara. She was very good—very helpful. She had a lot of ideas, and their workmen who were here were clean and neat and did a good job. They remodeled my bathroom for me—new vanity, new countertop, new mirror, new lighting, and things like that. I haven't had to call them back about any of the work they did, so they deserve an A.”

“They were always on time, and the workmanship was everything I could have asked for. They did a very good job. They took out a bathtub and shower combination—the white combination that just sort of fits in the bathroom—and replaced the whole thing without the tub, so I just have a walk-in shower. I would give them an A. I'm very satisfied with the whole project.”

“They were extremely helpful, and they let me check out items so that I could see what it would look like in my home. “They did the work on time and within budget, and they kept the dirt down as much as possible. When you have construction going on, there's going to be dirt, but they kept it down. We just about ripped out the bathroom and put a new one in—took out the tub, shower, floor, and toilet and replaced them. They came in at the best price, and they were only a block and a half away from us. They earned an A+.”

“I'm very satisfied. I think they were very thorough, courteous, and clean. In the bathroom, they put in the counter, the sink, the bowl, and the floor, and everything is fine. I think a friend of mine had them once before. They get an A. I even told my neighbors about them. My neighbor hasn't seen my bathroom yet, but she says she wants to see my bathroom, and if she likes it, then she will want her bathroom done too.”

“They wanted to do what I wanted done; they sort of helped me do what I wanted rather than push me in any direction that they would have wanted. The workers they had here took their time to do everything the way I wanted it—took no shortcuts. Kitchen Village is just really good. They did some bathroom work for me a few years ago, too. I've never had to call them back because something went wrong. They deserve an A+.”

“They were up front about the cost, and they were pretty prompt about getting it done. It was a kitchen partial, and I haven’t needed to call them back about anything. I found out about them just by driving past the business. Their customer service and professionalism were very good. They are a reliable company, and I would recommend them. Their grade is an A- because the two workers they sent out were mostly Polish speaking, and we had a little bit of a problem understanding them—some of the things that they tried to communicate to us—sometimes; that was the only problem.”

“I thought Kitchen Village had very talented craftsmen and designers, but they could have organized their work schedule so that the job got done a little quicker. They remodeled a kitchen down to the studs and they took out a wall and redid part of a dining room, then built-in cabinets and everything. They usually work on multiple jobs at the same time, so there are downtimes when nobody shows up. Had those downtimes been filled in with workers, they could have gotten it done in half the time. I would give them a B+. I would feel comfortable recommending them to a relative or friend. I looked in Best Pick Reports when I found Kitchen Village. That's how I found Kitchen Village.”

“William Bartlett is the manager at Kitchen Village, and he was just great. We still talk about him to other people; he's just a great guy. He, personally, took us around to pick out countertops at the different tile manufacturers—the different counter manufacturers down around that way—and he's just a good guy. I know if I had a problem right now, he would probably come out. Even after all this time, he'd probably come out.”
