“I diagnosed the problem, because I took the unit apart and knew exactly what was wrong with it, because the same thing had gone wrong with my other unit, so all I did was feed the error code—look and see what was wrong with it. So, when I called them, I told them what was wrong with it. So, they didn't have a lot to do, other than come, verify what I told them, go out, get the parts, and come back and change it. There were no complaints with things like their customer service, punctuality, or cleanliness. It was quite expensive, I would have to say. I only had one experience, so I don't tend to make recommendations on one experience unfortunately. I've had a lot of air conditioning issues, so I couldn't tell you if I would recommend them; I don't have enough information.”

“Protocool showed up when they said they were going to show up. There was one thing they had to come back for, that I did had to call them back for. They were approachable. They answered the phones. I got answers, and they pretty much did what they said they were going to do—which nowadays is a step above most contractors. They don't show up when they're going to, and they don't deliver as promised. So, everything was pretty much delivered as promised. I'd give them an A. The guys who came to work were very good about cleaning up after themselves.”

When you call them, and my air conditioning I've only had six months, and there was something wrong, I had to pay $170-something because they went to my house and looked at it and told me something was wrong with my air conditioning, and it was not covered by the warranty. It was only six months, and I had to spend more money. I am not happy about it.”

I'm going to put a stop on my credit card and complain about that. I would not recommend them to anyone.”

“They take care of our air conditioning. The last service technician that was here really knew what he was doing. They call to remind me whenever service is required. Normally, I would forget until the thing stopped working. The people are courteous. I would grade the experience I had as A.”

I never actually met anybody, but I must say the owner or the person I dealt with via email, Chris, was very professional. They did not leave a mess behind. My overall experience was absolutely an A.”
