“I did a monthly service with them. I didn't have anything come out of that. I spent money for a year and didn't really get any service. I just canceled it. We had a problem with a broiler and they couldn't come out. They didn't have enough staff. I get that it was during the pandemic but it was a lot of money to spend month to month and then not be able to come out. The staff was always very nice.”

“We have had to replace the outside unit 3 times. The first time it kept dripping and your service technician asked me if I cook greasy food. Totally out of line, I do not cook greasy food it was insulting. Another year during the annual inspection the tech disappeared and came up from my basement with 7000.00 worth of work he said I need done. Never did inspection, so I told him to leave. After the second unit died and for the third unit I upgraded to an additional ductless unit and put in the units that also have heat for the fall and spring. When I had this final unit put in I was told by the technician that the indoor ductless units that were in the wall, the dripping units, were put in incorrectly, angles wrong, and that’s why they were dripping. I do like that Weltman responds quickly and the last technician you had here this year and last year was outstanding. I believed his name is Dan Moran. I’ve had so many problems with these units. I have learned a lot since we’ve had so many problems with these units and one thing that your sales people need to learn is to tell people that the closer the ductless unit is to the outside unit the colder and more efficient your A/C . Also, the sales people need to tell prospective customers that anymore than three units to an outside you will not get peak efficiency. If somebody knows these facts they can make an educated decision on what to do for their home. Such as, where to place the units, how many units should be attached to the outside unit and how many ductless units they want in the home to get optimum efficiency in their home. What I have learned is that the unit in my back room should’ve been on the other wall so it would’ve been closer to the outside unit That room faces south and you know that gets very hot. “Personally, I like Weltman but many people that I know would choose a company with more affordable prices. I'm aware that Weltman offers a larger and more complete package and that everything costs more these days. So, this critique applies to the last 15 years that I've dealt with the company and not the most recent visit (which probably generated the email for this survey).”
