All of them have been courteous, well trained, and thorough. Our most recent experience was no different. The techs came in, called us when they arrived, and performed the HVAC routine maintenance procedures quickly and thoroughly. They even spent some time teaching us about the water detection device that we had installed some time ago, but had forgotten our lesson from back then. And their back office (appointments/billing, etc.) are also great. Their system must be amazing because they pull up your information in no time, can see what you've had done recently, and make suggestions based on your past work. They're not pushy, just trying to give great service, and they DO!”

“I have received good service in the past -- pest and HVAC unit. But recently, I had difficulty trying to book an appointment and to make a payment. There was a long wait when trying to book an appointment for pest management, then the service agent disconnected while we were talking and never called back. I called back later and it took about 10 minutes to get someone online. When I booked an appointment for HVAC inspection via email, I had to make a payment and called and gave my cc information. I later received an email saying it didn't go through because they probably had not captured the number correctly and I was told to use your online system. The link I was provided didn't work for that, so I had to seek another link from the agent.”
“They have done work on my HVAC systems (install and maintenance) since at least mid 90s. Not sure if they did the original installations in 1989 on the new house. Had AC replaced in early 2000s and been under MA with them since mid 90s. Just had all new HVAC installed a week ago and very satisfied with both the MA work over the years and the installers a week ago. I didn't look for competitive bids. I like Cropp and am confident in their service. Why change? No reason in my mind at all.”

“It took four technicians four different visits to figure out the problem with my AC unit. Lots of miscommunication on the end of the technicians which caused even further frustration. I have been using Cropp Metcalf for over 20 years and I’ve never had an issue until now.”

“Technicians are not vaccinated nor tested...disregarding the needs of the customer...a failure of management”
“The company was unresponsive to my requests for a quote. I had too call several times before someone responded. The resultant was the salesman sold me a unit that was inappropriate for the installation. The job was not completed per code and after several calls, I eventually was contacted about completing the job. In order to make the unit comply with code, something like an additional $2000 dollars was needed to finish the job. If the salesman had understood what was required and discussed other less disrupted options, I probably would have opted for a different unit. I also contracted for duct cleaning and given a date when that would occur. No one showed-up on that date. It took me several calls to eventually get to the person who schedules duct cleaning and was told that no one had scheduled anything with him. Once again, I don't feel the company follow-up on what was contracted. If someone wants to call and ask for additional details, fine. My experience is that no one will.”
