“Two service men came to my house to resolve the problem. Their names were Josh and Allen. They arrived at the agreed upon time, were very professional, identified and solved my problem. We had to have an evaporator coil replaced and though it was an expensive part, the pricing was in line with other suppliers and the quality of service we received was excellent. Now if the part remains trouble free for as long as I hope, we will be really happy.”

“First they came out to assess the situation because I wasn't getting any air conditioning and they determined that basically I guess the evaporator coils plus a compressor were not working especially the evaporator coils and it had to be replaced. And I was leaking the coolant. they seemed very knowledgeable and they added more coolant and they charged me to recharge it. It was going to last awhile I thought until we could get, I think they're a Carrier franchise I thought they were going to be able to get a new unit out here quickly. The coolant they added drained out and they had to come out again and the technician who came out here told me that because I had ordered a whole new unit from them the amount I was going to pay for the new coolant would be deducted from that amount. That did not happen. They did not deduct that. So they were responsive when I asked them to come out here. To get a new unit was going to be five or six days when it's 9 degrees outside and 85 degrees inside so what I did was cancel that order with them, the Carrier. I got another company called Immediate Service. They came out the next day and I had a new unit in 48 hours. And they had to recharge it and they didn't charge me for recharging the unit while I waited the 48 hours for the new compressor to arrive. I would give them a C. You talk to one person who's in charge of ordering new equipment or you're talking to a technician who's going to come out as soon as possible to recharge the unit. Two different levels of customer service there. The technicians were good. They didn't make a mess. Two technicians, both seemed very knowledgeable.”

Nothing comes to mind right off about what they could improve other than maybe the pricing on the labor.”

“I've had the same heating and air company since this house was built and I've never had a problem with them. I've had them for 30 years. I have a contract with them, a maintenance contract and they come in every year. They're dependable, they come when they say they're going to, I can call somebody and get a response. I actually talk to a real person, you don't have to go through a hundred numbers to get somebody. Somebody actually picks up the phone. I like that. I'd give them an A.”

“We use E Smith for heating and air conditioning. We've been with them forever and they always come when we need them to. They've just been nice people. They look at the thermostat and make sure it's accurate. They open it up and look at it and clean the things that need to be cleaned on the inside. They put in a new filter. That's twice a year and I normally don't need them any more than twice a year. But I just as easily could've given them an A, really.”
