The family-owned-and-operated company was founded in 1962. The mayor of Marietta presented E. Smith with the key to the city in 2012 for 50 years of service to the community.
E. Smith is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer and a member of the Carrier Dealer Hall of Fame, the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, and the Cobb Heating Association. They've done a lot of things that they really didn't have to do for me, and I think it's because I'm a long-time customer.”

The same technician came both times; he was very personable and easy to work with, he understood exactly what we needed, and he did what he said he was going to do. Sometimes companies are kind of wishy-washy when you're that close. Apparently, for this particular model, that part was going bad for a lot of people, and they were very faithful about replacing the part. It was definitely a positive experience. I'd give E. Smith an A rating.”

“What they do is exceptional. They've been doing our work for probably 20 years or so, and I have never had any trouble. I would have no problems recommending them. As a matter of fact, we live in a condo, and I recommended them to the condo, because they do such a phenomenal job. Before I retired, I was working in a church, and we could not get our heating and air conditioning system straightened out—it was a mess. So I called them, and I asked them if they would come take a look. They figured out that if I wanted to adjust the thermostat in room A, the thermostat would adjust in room C or D. They got up there, and they sorted everything out. On the plans it said one thing that was totally different, but they got everything sorted out and running very smoothly. In fact, we set up a meeting with the contracting company, the air conditioning company, and we had E. Smith there because that way we had all the parties. They were wonderful with them; they were great. So, for both home stuff and commercial stuff, they've been wonderful. I couldn't give them anything less than an A+. And we had to put in a new air conditioning system in our other condo, and we talked to them and asked what they suggested, and they said a two-stage unit, but they had to cut an actual section to make it fit into the little room that it went in. They did an exceptional job, and everything was clean and neat. Everything fit correctly—it was great. They were phenomenal. I would have no qualms about recommending them at all.”
