Jim Woolley is Central's second-generation, hands-on owner. Central has provided residential and commercial HVAC services for 71 years.

It's a little bit tricky, and not all their people understand this particular kind of old piece of equipment. We found one that did, and I said, 'Hey, this is the man I want to come out from now on to work on this thing,' and they said, 'No problem.' That individual comes out here and does it, and when they call up to schedule it, they tell me who's coming out to do the work. I wouldn't have any reason not to give them an A+.”

The salesman was very educational and helpful. When you don't know much about heating and air conditioning, and they take the time to say it in your words, it makes a big difference. We have a lot of incandescent can lights in the house rather than LED lights, so we discussed our energy efficiency. Then, they capped off the top of the can lights, which helps keep the heat in. I chose them because of the personality and friendliness—it almost felt that we were friends rather than just a cold number, a sales call, or whatever. I guess I'd give Central an A+ because they were excellent.”

The floor man had to rip up those floors with an underground spring, and he found out the air conditioner was leaking in that little hole they're supposed to wipe out every time they come. The other guy would put bleach in there to stop mildew from growing in the tube, so I never, ever thought about it until it was too late. Central paid for those floors. I'd give them an A because they ended up standing by their work.”
