Tiger Stripes

Tiger stripes are vertical strips of grime that develop along a rain gutter. These arise when dirt and other debris build up along the lip of the roof and moisture sends it running over the face of the gutter. This is not a problem with the paint, but simply a buildup of grunge that can be easily cleaned with a nonabrasive, household detergent. Use a rag or sponge to gently rub the gutter’s surface with the solution, being careful not to rub too vigorously. When you’re finished, immediately rinse with water.
