“I liked two things about them. I liked the quality of the product that was delivered and that they were good to work with along the way. I worked with Larry Schwartz. As we were going through, it was clear that we needed to make a decision on this piece or this piece, and he had suggestions of where to go. As far as the work along the way, it just seemed to progress well. At times, they had more workers on-site, and at other times, that wasn't reasonable or feasible, so they tended to adjust things as needed. We looked around, and one of the reasons we chose them was that they had the best suggestions. We were reconfiguring some things; we weren't quite sure what was going to work well or what we were going to do. We spent a little time talking to Larry when he said, 'OK, what if we do this or that?' Frankly, he was the one who came up with the best suggestion as to how we could reconfigure things. If a friend or family member asked about the company, I would tell them that they were good to work with; he had some good suggestions of how to do things and where to find some materials that we needed to pick out, and he was never pushy about it. He told us of some places and where things were reasonably priced. If we wanted to look at something else, it was fine with him, so that process went well. Obviously, there is a certain amount of disruption and dust when you do any project, but they seemed to try to keep that to a minimum. The workmen did a nice job. We were pleased with the quality of the final product.”
“They've done a lot of work for us; they put an addition on our house. We did our hardwood floors, put in tile, and did a bathroom. We have a second home that they did work on too—some ceiling and exterior work. They also put a new composite deck on it. I'm very, very pleased with it, and all the neighbors out there are very jealous of it. I think a friend recommended them. We have an upstairs bathroom that we're renovating, and I thought I could do it—that was a mistake. I called Larry Schwartz back, and he's going to send out a qualified plumber to fix my mistakes. I'd give them an A+. He has really good people working for him, he's right on budget, and he's diligent. He works with you totally, as far as the customer goes—whatever you need, he'll provide. They're very good.”
“We've had them do a couple of things. That was possibly the time they put a full roof on. I liked their promptness, their efficiency, and their ability to organize the whole thing, get it done quickly, and clean up completely. We've had them work with us a couple times, and I'm not sure if that was the first or second, but they're local to the area, so we've heard of them. I would think they're an A+—it was very well done, and I'm thinking of having them back again for something.”
“I continue to use them because I like their consistent quality and reliability; they've been great in both of those regards over the years. The customer service really stems from reliability. They start jobs when they say they're going to, and they finish them on time. They show up when they say they're going to, but if anything should go wrong or need to be corrected, they stand behind it completely, and they never argue about fixing or redoing something that clearly needs to be redone. They treat you like you're their most valuable customer and they want you to do repeat business. Because I'm a long-time customer—I have two rental properties and my own house—I think that they give me a response time that they may not give to people who are new customers or infrequent users of their services. For me, if it's urgent, they are out there within 24 hours. Even if it's not urgent, if it's for one of our rental properties, it's usually within a couple days at the most.”
