Then, he kept pitching a whole new system to us. First quote was $2,200 to replace compressor. The hvac system is 2 years old! Why would we replace it? He's the same tech that fixed our capacitor over the summer, makes me think that wasn't even needed! \r\n\r\nGot a2nd opinion from another hvac company, said compressor is working perfectly fine and that it was the condenser fan motor, cost us $275 to replace and the heat is back on and working just fine. \r\n\r\nI know people make mistakes, but that's a BIG mistake to make, and then when we ask him to call the company that installed our unit to schedule a meeting with their manager to come inspect the unit to see if maybe it's a bad unit, he gives us attitude and says \"they ain't gonna give you a new one, that's why I told you to just get a whole new unit\", and he never called to schedule that meeting!\r\n\r\nAnd that makes us think he didn't want to schedule it because the manager would have come out here and noticed it's not the compressor. After that we are all set. They made my unfortunate situation bearable and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. He did the inspection and service fine. But I had other things on my schedule today I had to juggle and/or move around.
