I liked their customer service and their product. I would say the sales rep was very good and seemed very honest. We also heard something good about it. Also, the installers—Frank, and I think a guy name Willie was with him—were the best we have ever seen, and we are kind of picky. They were so careful with our house, and they walked through the process of what they were doing. They were fast, but their workmanship was beautiful. Their caulk lines were beautiful. They installed windows and doors for the whole house. It took them two days, and they were gone by four on the second day. Frank, the installer, noticed when he unwrapped our sliding glass door that the handle had rubbed against something. He noticed it before I did, and he said, 'We are not going to install that.' He had the warranty people come out and replace it very fast. I only have good stuff to say about Brennan and the installers. If I could have him do all the work at my house, I would—he was awesome. They did a good job. Tom Leopard was our salesman, and he was very good.
They had good workmanship and good people that were working there. They did windows for us. We hope for them to come back and finish them up soon; we just keep having things get in the way. We want to get more windows and doors, so there are more to get done by Brennan. We researched a couple of places, and then one day down in our neighborhood, we saw a couple of trucks and saw Brennan on them. The next day, I knocked on the person's door and said, 'Tell me about your windows.' She said, 'Come in; let me show you.' She was real excited about them. She was willing to talk about them and say how wonderful they had been, so I said, 'OK, let's put them on the list.' I think the first day I went, they were still working on them, and they gave me a business card. I was happy with the people that took the measurements and told me about the windows. I think it was wonderful—a great experience.
Mostly, I liked their responsiveness, and they were thorough in what they did. We did have one issue after installation that I probably would have never noticed, and they pointed it out and said that they were going to fix it. They were out a few days later and fixed it. They did 13 windows. The quality was great; I was very pleased. I think their responsiveness stood out, but even when I would call early on, they were very easy to work with. I heard from a friend about a specific brand of windows, and Brennan was one of the people that you could go through. When I talked with them, it was a no-brainer to go with them. The windows are holding up beautifully; we're just trying to figure out when to get more done.
They created a whole room for me out of glass. They're neat and clean, and they call you if they think they are going to be late, even though they're not. Even if it's ten minutes, they call. I have a deaf dog, and he fell asleep out there, and they didn't know that I was listening—I work at home. They are very quiet, and I heard Pete say, 'Walk around him—he's asleep.' How can anybody be so polite about somebody else's dog? That's wonderful—that's not part of their service. When they leave, the windows are clean, and they try not to step on anything when they replace windows. They put a sliding glass door in the dungeon of my laundry room. Now you can look out at the garden so you don't mind being there. They did several different projects. They are wonderful, and they are always real prompt. The first time, they put up a great, big wall, and it had to get special glass because, instead of having a solid glass wall, people usually have two windows—one above and one below it. I didn't want that, so they made it so that it could go all the way to the ground with two different doors. It goes out to the pool, so they put in a sliding door. If the weather gets too hot like it does in Texas, you can close it, or you can have an outdoor room. They went above and beyond to meet my needs. They would have come out and cleaned it for me, but they told me how to do it, and I did it myself. They fixed the screen because my dog ran through it. It was so clear that he ran into it, and it wasn't their problem, but they fixed it for me. I can think of a million more things for them. They are very polite, and that doesn't happen often; not many people are considerate of your privacy. My electric bill has gone down over 30 percent. I'm really upset that they don't do interior remodeling.
The salesman was not telling me a bunch of stuff; he was just a normal-speaking person—down-to-earth. I wanted somebody local who had been in business a long time. They had an accident—they dropped a pane of glass. They replaced two windows, and there were two slabs of glass, maybe four by seven. They took the old one out, and as they got to the front door, they dropped one in the front hall. They weren't frantic or anything like that, but they got after it. They got it cleaned up; of course, they didn't get every last piece of glass, but they worked on it for about 20 to 30 minutes to get it up. They didn't just halfway do it, and I thought that was nice. They were neat and clean. The people that came to do the windows were of course different than the one that came out to talk to us. I think they are OK, and everybody in the neighborhood said they look nice.
Brennan Enterprises was very efficient—they were just in and out, and it was just real easy. My neighbor watched when they did the work and said they were really quick. They were very professional, and the guy that came and checked the work also checked my doors. I'm glad I got my windows done with them.
We had doors done by Brennan Enterprises, and the installation went very well. We had new exterior doors put on and new storm doors. They totally get an A.
They did a good job on the windows they replaced for us, and they were professional. They weren't pushy. I liked the work they did, and I liked their attitudes. They gave a quote, and they stuck to it. They did it within the time frame that they said they would, and I've had no problems with it. At the time that we decided to replace the windows, Andersen was the only brand name that came to my mind. I heard good things about that. I picked the top three people and gave them a call, and they were the only ones who called me back. I liked them because it was family owned and had been owned for a long time. It wasn't a national chain. It was a local, family-operated thing, and that's why I picked them. They just seemed like they knew what they were doing.
We had used them before on the front half of our home, and we were remodeling the inside of our home somewhat, so we decided to go ahead and finish off the back side. We decided to go back to Brennan because we had a good experience with them the first time. They were prompt and responsive to our needs, and we didn't have a negative that we could attach to them. It wasn't like we were under any kind of a deadline, but we wanted to try and get the windows done in conjunction with the remodeling, and they were helpful in making that happen. When my wife and I talked about it, they came to mind because they had been easy to work with.
We only met one salesman, and he was only here one time to make the deal. Then, one man came out and took all the measurements. They were very efficient.
