I love my basement. The guys did a wonderful job, and they were wonderful. I just love it. It's light, beautiful, and dry. It's an old house, and the brick walls downstairs had been covered over with parget that was crumbling. They were able to repoint the bricks, cement them over, lower the floor a foot, stop the back wall from leaking, and put in a new staircase because the old one didn't go all the way down once they lowered the floor. I was thinking that when I do get around to the cement part of my backyard, I'll call them and ask them to do it. I'd give them an A+.
They gave me suggestions to get water out of my basement and didn't try to sell me things that I didn't need or that were more expensive. They actually came back and fixed it because I wasn't completely satisfied with it at first. They lifted the slab. It was sinking into the ground, so they used the filler to raise it up and stop the water from going into my basement. The first time, it wasn't raised quite high enough; they raised it a little bit more the second time they came out, and it's been perfect. I haven't been getting any water in my basement. They saved me thousands of dollars in concrete. I'd give them an A.
They are honest and reliable. I've gotten dehumidifiers and a sump pump from them, and they work well. They are right on top of maintenance, and they call to remind me to schedule it. They are very good—top-notch, I would say. I would highly recommend them. They deserve an A.
They've achieved the goal, so far. The one challenge was that initially, the motor on the system wasn't working correctly, and we thought it was having trouble managing the system. As soon as we called them, they said, 'Oh, no, that shouldn't happen. We'll be right out.' They fixed it no charge, and it was great. They put a perimeter drain around a whole basement that had originally had a water trough running around it. They closed it up and dropped plastic barriers on two of the four walls to dry and maintain the basement for us. We'd previously been having terrible flooding problems, and we have not since they did that. I would recommend them. The one challenge was that, of course, the electricity bill is more expensive because we have to run the dehumidifier and all that, but we don't have flooding in the basement. It's so much dryer, and so it's so much better for the house. The only other challenge we had was when there was a major storm that hit,and they had so many people calling them at the same time. It was going to be 11:30 or 12:00 when they finally got to our place, and I had a renter in there. I didn't feel I could ask the renter to accommodate that schedule, so they ended up not coming. That was the only problem we've really we've had with them; they were just on such overload that they didn't respond. I would love to give them an A+, but honestly, they get maybe an A-.
I've invested a lot of money with them throughout the years, and we like the professionalism and the quality of the work. I have a dry basement. They put a complete new French drain in our basement and a new dehumidifier, and they do a yearly service call. They're very reputable, and I would highly recommend them—A+.
They were very professional and very quick. They put three pumps down in the basement; they did waterproofing. They were excellent. They deserve an A+.
They did the follow-up testing to make sure the sump pump was working. They come out each year to do that. When we first had a water problem, we checked some local sources. We thought their prices were high, so we went further and started checking other resources. They tested things, did an estimate for us, and told us what they would do, how they would do it, and so on. We felt good about everything they told us, and that's how we ended up deciding to go with them. I would say they deserve an A because we've been totally satisfied with them.
BQ did an excellent job in solving my problem. It was waterproofing in the basement. There was a slight problem, but they fixed that. I'm going to give them an A.
It was a great experience, and they did a great job. Their efficiency stood out. I think I've used them for multiple things. We did a French drain and a sump pump, and we have a ladder to the basement—stuff like that. They were highly recommended. They're excellent.
They did a good, clean job, and they did it quickly—in one day. They did a nice job. They put a channel around the basement. I'd say they deserve an A+.
