AKA took down about five trees and pruned up some trees, and they were awesome on everything. I can't say anything bad about them. Every last member of the crew was very respectable and had manners. Those guys are excellent, and they came on time. They worked with me, and they even did a little above and beyond pruning the trees—things that weren't even in the little contract—with no issues and no hassle. I chose them because I was cleaning up my driveway, and the manager stopped me and asked if I wanted to have any tree service done. I'd give them triple A's. They're A++.
AKA took down at least eight trees. Two were right by the house, and they were probably forty to sixty feet high. I was really concerned about them, but there seemed to be no problem with them whatsoever. Everything just went really well. They were exceptionally nice and kept us informed about each of the trees they took down. They also seemed to know exactly what they were doing and to go out of their way to make sure other plants around the area were taken care of, and they cleaned up everything. There's nothing bad to say—I'd give them an A+. The word's getting out about how well they did; a lady at our church and another friend contacted me to get their name.
AKA managed to remove 26 trees in half a day. I would highly recommend them. They were very thorough and very, very professional. I thought they did a super good job, and everybody worked really hard. They had a substantial crew and all the proper equipment to handle it. I would rate them as an A.
They removed four trees and ground four stumps. They came out and did what they said they were going to do, and they did an excellent job. The customer service was excellent, too. I chose AKA because the gentleman who owns the company came and knocked on the door—he was very personal. They get an A+ in my book.
AKA took a couple of limbs off a tree in my backyard. They were extended over the house, and I was concerned that they were going to come down on my house at some point, so I got it taken care of before that happened. They were punctual, and there were plenty of people to do the job. They did it, cleaned up, and were gone. They did an excellent job, and you couldn't even tell they'd been here. I'd give them an A+. I contacted several companies, and some of them never responded.
AKA removed one tree. They came in, did the job, cleaned up, and were done in a timely fashion. They were good. I'd recommend them, and I'd give them an A on their excellent work.
They cut down a big tree, and their work was excellent. My neighbors said they were very professional. I heard that six guys were down here, and when the limb hit the ground, it was immediately carried onto the truck.
I liked the very prompt service, the excellent cleanup, and the professionalism of the crew—the care they took to not hurt things while they were here and also the safety awareness of their workers. All of them had on proper gear, hats, and safety vests. A lot of tree companies don't do that, but he was very conscious of it. Both my father and I had massive damage after the ice storm. Because of the severity in the area, I expected that it would take quite some time to get service, and there were real safety concerns because another storm was coming. I've had other companies say they would return to do that, and I've had to call because they never came. I didn't have to call AKA. We got the estimate, the service, and the cleanup on that day—the only thing they had to do on a separate day was the stump grinding. He had a tough job; getting the stump grinder to that part of the yard without damaging the fence was not an easy task because of the location. I was very pleased with AKA's service, and I really appreciated it. I even took pictures of the crew and sent them to the company because I wanted them to have them for customer relations purposes. They get an A. I have a feeling they may be back here at some point.
It was tree removal, and AKA did a wonderful job. I thought they were professional. Their customer service was good, and they were on time. They provided a quote and a receipt, and the price never changed. They're local to where I live. I'd rate them as an A.
They took down a very large water oak tree and a number of smaller trees, and then they trimmed. They had a full crew out there that went over all the work we documented. In total, it involved about 30 or 40 pieces of work, and they did an excellent job. They were just exemplary. They weren't the typical contractor that comes up with problems and excuses—they just got down to business and did it. I went through a bidding process with them, and I chose them after meeting with the principal because I felt that he would do the job for me. I'd give them an excellent grade—an A.
