They came. We had trouble with an air conditioning unit. The compressor lost its charge. He came out, diagnosed the problem, and was even good enough to say, 'This unit's still under warranty. Why don't you call the people who installed it? It'll probably be covered by your new equipment warranty.' That's what he did. He didn't actually do the work, but he diagnosed it. I was impressed that that's what he suggested. I'd highly recommend them. I'd give them an A.
It was well done, and it's working. My old air conditioning froze up. They had to come in, and it was frozen on the inside and the outside. It took them 24 hours for them to defrost it. Then, they determined that my old air conditioning, which was 25 years old, could not take a charge anymore. They recommended that I get a new air conditioner, which I reluctantly agreed to. It was American Standard that they put in. They were here the next day and put it in. It took about five hours, and they followed up and made sure everything was all right. I guess I get a one-year warranty for their work and a ten-year warranty for the system. I think that's what they said. The customer service was good. They put in my whole system in 2010, my whole heating system. I'd had them before, so they're good. I never go all the way to ten, so I'd give them a nine. I don't always give a perfect grade, because no one is perfect.
We've had multiple good experiences with them on multiple properties. I've received follow-up calls from the owner to check in and make sure we were happy with the work, and they've even gone out of their way to make sure we didn't have them do any unnecessary work. They have done maintenance and cleaning work, they've done parts replacement, and I think we've had one emergency call with them. The customer service is excellent. It's been a number of years since we chose them, so I don't remember why. I'd rate them an A.
