Hemma Concrete did work for me, and they were great, absolutely. It was beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend them. They were clean, they worked quickly, and they did an excellent job. Everything was just perfect. They did a driveway for me with concrete. I'd give them an A+.
They were very, very good. I got a very, very good-quality driveway. The customer service was really good. I was very impressed. With all the construction I did on my house, they were probably the best.
They explained the whole process before we had the driveway poured, and they did an exceptional job during the pour. They cleaned up nicely afterward, and the driveway looked fabulous. They are definitely an A company.
Hemma Concrete did a fabulous job on our driveway—A+.
They were outstanding. They put in a new double driveway. They took the old driveway out, they sucked the curve out, and they moved the mailbox from the right side over to the left so that two cars can park in front of my double garage. Then they went down the middle on the left-hand side, but they didn't change anything. However, on the right side, we changed it considerably. They paved it the day before. It's got like a seam on the left side—where there's a break, there's a seam—and they put something in the concrete that sort of gives if there was a problem. It has some cross high bars they're replacing. Then there's about a 3-inch smooth area down both sides of the middle, because there's a little trench there so it really looks great. Then they did my front wall. From the end through the front, it had dropped about three inches over the years because the house was built in 1961; I've done a lot to it. They raised that up, so it is high enough to where it drains through to the outside; and not through the inside. They really knew what they were doing, and they would give me an estimate. I laid a water hose down where I wanted it to be, they marked it, and that's where they started. They did it all in one day. I couldn't drive on it for a week but I could walk on it in a day. And they had a dumpster out there and machines, and they were dumping everything in that thing. There was no mess. Each person had a job. There was nothing up front, no paid cash or check. If there was something wrong with it, and they had to come back and inspect it, they would redo it for nothing. Before the car would sort of drag a little bit, but now it floats in. I'd give them an A+; and double that. I've already recommended Hemma Concrete many times. In fact, people drove by while they were doing work and said 'I'm going to call them, I need my driveway finished.' There was a guy in there the other day, the bug man, he said 'Who did your driveway?' I told him. I said 'You want the phone number?' He said 'yes.'
They're a very excellent, thorough, and professional company. They paved our driveway, and they did a great job on the concrete. I would definitely give them an A+.
Hemma did a pad in the backyard we use for basketball. They made it with concrete. They're A+. I would definitely extremely recommend them.
The fella who came by was an older fella, and he knew everything about driveways, and we'd gotten good reports from looking at DeKalb County and stuff like that. He came by, explained everything, and told us how much it would cost. We just had total confidence in this older fella, and he just was amazing; he just knew driveways. We didn't know driveways, but he knew driveways. And he told us what we could do and how we could do it. We asked him a couple of questions about our brick pathway to the front door. Anyway, he told us to keep it, and we're glad we did. The people who came to do it were great. They also did concrete work. They were great—A+. We had a Christmas party, and some friends of ours who hadn't been here in a while, came to our house for this party, and they said 'That's a Hemma Driveway, isn't it?' Josh looked at them and said, 'It is, yeah.' And then, when they had a shower for my daughter two weeks ago, I looked at their driveway, and it had the same thing. And Bill said, 'That's a Hemma driveway. I can tell.' So there you go.
They got there when they said they were going to get there. They cleaned up very nicely, and the work was quality. They replaced my driveway; tore up the old one and poured a new driveway with concrete. Then they did some decorative impressions at the top. It was A+.
My experience was absolutely positive. They did a replacement of a residential driveway. The job was A++. They did great.
