They did the work and cleaned up after themselves. It was fine. They were perfect.
I had an excellent experience with Fireplace & Chimney Authority. They're very good. I like their competence. They installed a new fireplace, and then they did granite and new fire doors on another fireplace. They did a great job. I'd give them an A.
Things were slightly delayed by weather but that's about it. They were able to match the bricks, and we have a house that has a specific style of brick. I'm not even sure what they call it anymore. It involved a specific kind of common brick that had a blackish tinge to it. Apparently, it was very popular in the 1950s, but it's not so popular now, so it's very had to find. We'd had repair work done ten years ago. The company that did it then just replaced it with regular, common brick, and of course, it didn't match at all. Fireplace & Chimney Authority was able to actually match the original mixture of old brick, so I'm very satisfied. They rebuilt the chimney about halfway down and put on a new cap. I guess I would say they were excellent. I haven't had any problems. There's a brick fireplace in the basement that was getting efflorescence, and until it doesn't develop anymore, I won't know for sure that that really solved the problem. On looks and the way it appears, it's definitely an A. It would be excellent if it solved the problem of the efflorescence of the bricks in the basement, and I won't know that for a while yet.
They seemed knowledgeable and professional, and they were able to perform the work that I needed. They installed a ventless gas fireplace. The installation took probably an hour. I'd give them an A. They were excellent.
They had the part available, and I liked that. They inspected the fireplace and figured out what part I needed. I ordered it and put it in myself. They just troubleshot it for me. The only work they did was the inspection. I'd give them an A. I had no complaints.
I liked their professionalism. They did fireplace doors for me, and the job took three hours. I'd say they're an A.
They came and got the job done. They cleaned the chimney. They showed up on time, they were very clean, and they had good customer service. I'd grade them as an A.
Fireplace & Chimney Authority was great. They were clean, and they got everything working. They got my fireplaces up and running and cleaned out. They replaced some things that had never been used since we moved in about five years ago, and they made sure everything was ready to go. I'd give them an A.
They actually supplied a fireplace for me and did some cleaning of the duct system. I was very satisfied with the work they did. The individual that I dealt with followed up on his calls to me as I was buying his product and stuff like that. He kept me well informed, and he gave me options of what I could use if I needed to replace more than I was thinking about replacing. They deserve an A.
They were on time, and they got the work done. They gave recommendations, and I felt everything was thoroughly checked out. They did a cleaning out of the fireplace, and they also did a dryer vent cleanout. They left the place clean without damage. I'd give them an A.
