They were very prompt. We did a complete kitchen remodel—taking down walls, new cabinets, new flooring—in six weeks. We were in and out in six weeks. And there was always somebody working. We never went one day without somebody here during that six week time period. When you're without a kitchen, everybody else I talked to said three to four months. What he does is he builds the cabinets before he demos the kitchen. The supervisor that I worked with was easy to get ahold of if you had a question. If you had a problem, he was right there addressing it. They were very easy to get ahold of and get answers to questions or anything like that. We talked to many, many contractors, and the thing that made the difference is when we finally went out to look at the work of other contractors. I wasn't as happy, and when I went to see Chip's work, it was exactly what I wanted. We looked at two of his kitchens, and the second kitchen I walked into, I said, 'This is the kitchen I want. I want everything they have.' It was the quality of the work and how it was put together—the whole thing. We worked a long time on getting what we wanted. I would give them an A. I would use them again if I had anything else to do, and I've recommend him to other people.
I thought that they basically did what they said they were going to do. If they said they were going to show up on a given day, they did, and then they did high-quality work as well. We had a fair amount of home remodeling, so they remodeled our bathroom and a lot of the flooring as well as the kitchen. We looked at a couple of other companies first, and there were just things about their bid and things that we didn't like. I think Chip's was maybe the third company that we went to. I think I would give them an A.
They did great. The quality of the work was great. They did the kitchen. It was pretty average customer service. They had a good facility where we could go in and see the CAD drawings of the plan before he started building it, so I guess that was nice compared to what everybody else was doing. They were a lot more extensive than all of the competitors that we talked to, so we decided to go for it. I'm happy we did. I'd give them an A.
They were outstanding. They were very thorough, and they completed the work. The very few things that needed adjustments, they promptly took care of. They did both my kitchen and my bathroom—two separate projects. They did our kitchen, and then we asked them to come back and do our bath. They're just really easy to get ahold of and to work with. Any question I had, they immediately answered for us. They were recommended to us by friends of ours. I'd give them an A.
I would refer them to anyone. I liked the quality of work and the quality of service. In fact, I've had them do two or three houses. I can get things done. They're easy to work with. I chose them because of their quality of work. I'd give them an A+.
Chip was just very personable and took on my project personally. I felt like I was dealing with a person, not a company. They built a big cabinet for me. It was in my dining area. I used to live in Arlington, and I knew about him because he's been around a long time. I'd give them an A.
They were very efficient and straightforward, and they got the job done timely. They did a kitchen remodel. I'd say they're an A.
In fact, we're getting ready to start phase two this week. I guess I liked the fact that they kept me informed on the schedule. There was never a day I didn't have somebody coming to work, so I didn't have to wait weeks before something else happened. They were all very professional. They remodeled my kitchen and my master bath. My friend who is a designer has used them before, and so she recommended using them. I'd give them an A.
They did a very good project for us. They're very responsive to what we wanted if we changed things. I think we were very happy with them. We had a large bathroom that they remodeled, and they helped with finding the products we were looking for. They kind of went out of their way to make sure little things were found and taken care of. The work was done on time and cleaned up. I'd give them an A.
They did our cabinets. It was great. Chip was willing to come at whatever time was convenient for us to discuss what we needed. His workmen were very professional and prompt, and the work was really good. They installed a laundry room cabinet and a large built-in for the family room. It was an A.
