- Company History: Michael Lake and his wife, Linda, co-founded Advantek Service Group, which employs three generations of the Lake Family. Michael has 30 years of experience in service to Atlanta and surrounding areas. According to Michael, his father, Bill, taught him the importance of customer satisfaction and convenience. Continuing in that tradition, Advantek works with its customers’ schedules by calling with a 30-minute lead time.

"They worked on a cook top that we have. We have a Miele cook top, which is a gas cook top, and they came and worked on that for us. I would give them an A. The technician they sent by was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he assessed what the problem was. He had to come back after ordering some parts, but when he came back, he was done, and it's worked since then. I would recommend them to other people for similar issues. The tech they sent out to my house was very knowledgeable and very considerate. They did a good job."
"They did some appliance repair for me back in February of this year. This all went just wonderful. It was a Sub-Zero refrigerator that quit working, but I didn't want to change it because of the way I have my kitchen structured. I have white panels on all of the appliances, including that Sub-Zero, and I wanted to keep the look the same. They were able to restore it for me. I went to my regular appliance person, but they don't handle Sub-Zeros, so I ended up going to Advantek. I was not at all disappointed with them."
"They did very well overall. The last thing they fixed was a 20-year-old stand-up, very large refrigerator. I started getting funny lights on the front panel. It turned out that the hinges weren't lining up correctly, so there were some censors in there that weren't matching correctly. They had to really scour around because it's been out of production for a long time. But they were able to put that together for me, and it saved me a lot of money. I would say they deserve an A."
"Around Christmas we had a new dishwasher put in. It's fine, and the dishwasher works, so I have no complaints. I use it every couple of days. It's a Frigidaire. The man was quite delightful. The whole issue was complicated by the fact that rats had eaten through our old one, which is why the dishwasher leaked. We had to get it replaced within two days because we had company coming for Christmas. So I know he went out of his way to get over here and put it in for us. I would have to give them an A for a grade. He was very prompt, and he was really funny. He was just very personable. I would recommend them."
"Advantek came in to repair our LG dryer. They did a great job. They were prompt, very professional, and they worked diligently with no issues whatsoever. They explained the problem, solved it, and left. I couldn't have asked for a better response. They just knocked it out for me. That was the only experience I've had with Advantek, but I would give them an A and recommend them."
"They were great. They worked on my coffee maker. It was a water thing that was happening. There were a couple of problems with it. One was that the frother was broken, and the other thing was that there was a leak in the water line, which they had to replace. Advantek did A work."
