They took a lot of time just to install everything. They did a thorough job; it was very detailed. They were very friendly. They installed a light, converted my oven to a plug-in, and installed a surge protector box. I needed somebody to come out because I didn't know that the oven that I had was wired. I'd just moved in, and I needed someone to fix that because I had an oven in my living room for a couple days. I'd give them an A+.
The gentlemen that came were very polite, very mannerly, and they explained things to me instead of talking down to me. They explained everything so that I would understand. Any question I had, they answered, and didn't make me feel—sometimes mechanics and men that are more knowledgeable in a subject make women feel like, 'Oh, well of course you wouldn't know that; you're a woman.' They never ever did that, any of the people we had. They were very nice and mannerly and kept the area clean, so they were very careful. They came out two different times. One was for HVAC, and one was for plumbing. Customer service was very good. The receptionist that took my calls was very efficient. She called right back, and they're very good about that too. If they're running a little late, they call you and say 'I'm sorry. I'll be there in ten minutes,' and sure enough they're there in ten minutes. They get an A+ because I recommend them to people. I have recommended them since they have worked here.
They got the work done quickly. Most recently, they put in the new air conditioning system. For several years now, it's always needed a fresh charge of Freon at the beginning of spring when you start to use it. It had it in May, but then in July it needed it again already. They noticed there was a problem. They checked it, and it needed the Freon again because the system was obviously getting worse when it needed it the second time. So that was when they said we really should get a new air conditioning system, which of course was an expense we weren't expecting. The other one was obviously going downhill. I don't have any complaints.
It was fine. He's going to have to come back because he has to order the parts. David is a very nice young man—very accommodating—and he knows what he's doing. It was one of the lightbulbs in the kitchen that went bad, one of the LED lights. You can't replace the bulb—you have to replace the whole thing. He took that with him, and now he's going to have to come back. It's good for ten years. They get an A grade.
It was electrical work. It was a great experience. They were all fine. They did the job, quoted me exactly what it was going to be, and actually came back out because I thought they hadn't done something when they actually had done it. They put up my fan like it was nothing. They did a good job. It looked like it was mounted funny, like it wasn't it was mounted correctly, but I didn't know what I was looking at. So he did a great job. The same guy came out again and it was no problem, no issues. They're an A.
It was definitely good. There were a couple of challenges that we ran into during the work, and he really walked me through all the potential possibilities and made it happen, so that was good. It was electrical that I had done. It was replacing a couple of electrical outlets and replacing a couple of light switches. I would recommend them to a friend. They're an A grade all the way.
He was on time and friendly. His explanations of issues were very clear. He was doing electrical work. We had an issue with our outside lights and one of the lights in the basement. He was done within three hours. I have no complaints at all, so they're an A.
I was satisfied. No complaints.
They did my home, lights, and ceiling fans. They were quite professional. They did a good job on it. They were here on time and did good service. Basically, it was a flip of a coin as to who I was going to go with—I chose them, and I'm glad I did. I'd give them an A.
Their customer service is really good. They're really prompt in getting back to you and very nice on the phone. The people who answer the phones are really great. I would definitely use McHale's again. I'd rate them A.
