It's just very thorough and very personal. I tell Progressive if there's something specific that they need to look at, and they do it. They've just always done a really excellent job of maintaining my air and heat systems. I have them do regular maintenance on it twice a year. When I had the air conditioning, a part broke in it, and I called them up. Due to the fact that I have the annual contract with them, they came out immediately and repaired it. I would give them an A grade.
They were very prompt and were able to work within our budget and guide us to fit what was best for our home. We got a new HVAC unit. I chose them because I live in a community that they do business in. I'd give them an A.
Progressive was wonderful. They came out really quick and were on time. They do a good job, and everybody's nice. I got a new unit. They had come out once before to do service for me. I'd give them an A.
The technician that they sent out here was very informative and personable. The customer service was top-notch. They did the annual checkup of my heating system, and it's the first time I've used them here—it was pretty good. I just bought this house, and they had done the annual service on the air conditioning and heating engine here, so I just decided I would try them and see if I liked them, and if everything was good, I'd just continue to use them. They earned an A rating. They did great quality work, and I'm very satisfied with the service. They were prompt, were courteous, and didn't wreck my house when they were doing the service.
One thing I like is that it seems like I always get the same lady when I call on the phone. I like having someone familiar that I feel like I make a relationship with. I'm sure they don't remember, but they make you feel like they do, having the same lady to talk to each time. The last time they came out was because lightning hit our house, and it fried our downstairs outside unit. They came through and checked everything to see how far along the damage was done, and I felt like I could trust them. They could have sold us more than we needed, but they didn't. We had a problem back during an ice storm, and they showed up. We did not have a contract with them to come regularly at that time, but during this ice storm, when nobody could get in or out, our lower unit quit working. They had trouble figuring it out, but they would not leave until they called their most experienced guy. There was a yellow jacket in the vent of the gas furnace, and that was all that was wrong. They just blew this mist out. They just didn't give up, and when they couldn't figure it out, they kept calling someone else to come check it. They've always been A+ for us. We have carpets, and they were so good at taking off their shoes coming in and putting on the paper covers to not track anything in when it's nasty outside—they're just considerate of your home. We've got a credit with them. Something was fried, and the guy didn't have exactly what he needed, but it was still functioning. He put it on our receipt, so the next time they come out for a regular checkup, they're to replace a certain part.
Positive is all it's ever been. Their response is fast. They're always willing to do what you ask, and they make other suggestions if they think it's better. They've replaced some ductwork and put in two air conditioners for me. I've been using them for the last 15 years, and they're the only people we use. I'll give them an A.
Progressive does work for me. They're friendly and easy to deal with—no problems. They service the heat and air and they've fixed a part that was broken. Then we got a contract with them to come out. We chose them because they were in the Best Pick Reports book. I'd grade them as an A.
It's been a while since we did the work, but it was positive. It was back in the summer, and I liked their responsiveness. I think they did maintenance for me. In the past, they've done regular maintenance, but right now, I'm not on the plan. I would give them an A rating.
When I call for an appointment, I don't have to wait a long time. They're fast, informative, and professional when they come by. They do maintenance twice a year on the contract for the air conditioning and the furnace. I think my father had always done business with them, and we moved into his home, so we just took over who he was using. We were happy, so we retained them. Based on that, I'd have to give them an A; I haven't had any complaints yet.
They were on time, and they made a call prior to servicing us to make sure about the appointment time and all that. They did what they had promised. It was routine maintenance on my air conditioning unit. They get an A rating from me.
